I've always been a cartoon character cosplayer, but ever since the girl I was dating told me her favorite animal was a bear, I realized my need for a bear cosplay. The first bear character that came to mind was Yogi, since I watched him when I was young. I ordered an outfit, and it started to become one of my favorites.
So about three years ago, I texted my then girlfriend and told her that I wanted to go on a walk, so to meet me at the park. I got there a little bit earlier than our arranged time in order to surprise her in my outfit. While I was waiting for her, a few people on the trails recognized my outfit and thought it was funny.
So I had the brilliant idea of sneaking up on people having lunch or walking on the trails while I was waiting for my girlfriend. A few people thought it was funny, but more than enough thought I was being weird and borderline harassing them. I unwisely ignored these complaints and kept going. People within eyeshot saw me continuing to do this and called the Park Ranger on me. I thought it was a bluff, but to be safe I did stop, and I ran into the porta-potty to change out of my Yogi outfit. I ran back to my car and hid the outfit, and resumed to waiting for my girlfriend- and the park ranger- to arrive.
She finally arrived, before the ranger did, and I told her that I changed my mind and wanted to watch a movie instead. She was kind of pissed at me for changing plans so much, and told me she'd rather just walk in the park. I was too scared to tell her about my cosplaying habits and that the park ranger would be looking for me, so I agreed.
I'm not sure if the ranger ever arrived, since we walked away fairly quickly and were out for quite a bit. But I damn well got away with it.
I hate BJP to core. But the amount of dedication they put has to be commendable. At the same time look at India's primary opposition party. No way this hard working BJP gonna be defeated by Rahul Gandhi and congress even if they literally sell the country to Ambani or Adani. India Deserves a better Opposition party.
NOTE: This is not an opinion piece by me. It's intended to show what Yogi thought, and quoted.
Love him or hate him, he was a legend. However, he was also a philospher. His most famous one, of course, was "You can't think and hit at the same time", which is true. But what are his other lesser-known/more deeper ones? Here's a list I made:
When you come to a fork in the road, take it
You can observe a lot by just watching
Baseball is 90% mental and the other half phsyical
Always go to other people's funerals, otherwise they won't go to yours
You better cut the pizza in four pieces because I'm not hungry to eat six
Slump? I ain't in no slump.. I just ain't hitting
I tell the kids, somebody's gotta win, somebody's gotta lose, just don't fight about it. Just try to get better
If the people don't want to come out to the ballpark, nobody's going to stop them
Why buy good luggage, you only use it for travel
All pitchers are liars or crybabies (don't kill me r/baseball, this is a quote of his apparently)
Even Napoleon had his Watergate
Bill Dickey is learning me his experience
He hits from both sides of the plate. He's amphibious
I can see how Sandy Koufax won twenty-five games. What I don't understand is how he lost five
I'm not going to buy my kids an encyclopedia. Let them walk to school like I did
In baseball, you don't know nothing
It ain't the heat, it's the humility
So I'm ugly. I never saw anyone hit with his face
Little League baseball is a very good thing because it keeps parents off the streets
If I didn't make it in baseball, I won't have made it workin'. I don't like to work
Those are some I found from the I linked, and personally the 14th one is the one I relate to the most.
