Just finished the ensemble audiobook. What a ride. I had seen the movie before I read the book. And now I'm super disappointed in the movie. I didn't care much for it before but after the book it's now just a massive missed opportunity. But enough of the movie. This was one of the most efficient reads I've ever had. Every story, every word, every theme, perfectly executed. Not a single wasted line. Everything felt necessary and needed. I now feel the immediate need to buy a shotgun and a cabin in the woods.
"Don't worry everything is going to be ok" is right up there with "Don't Panic" in book quotes to remember during a crisis

Don’t get tempted to split attention by this bonfire. Simply look at the short interest (even the officially reported one which we know is a fraction of the reality) of GME compared to AMC and you know all you need to know.
It’s likely a tactical play., though one which could help us as well.
Remember the “good whales theory”. While I personally don’t believe that there is such thing like a “good whale” because that would suggest that anyone of the institutional players would be on our side and we all should be realistic enough to accept that those people are only on their own side and don’t give a damn about us, there is something like aligned interest. And as has been suggested by some DD Wallstreet is a shark pool and if some sharks smell blood in the water, in this case the blood of Shitadel, Melvin & friends, they’ll make sure to get their fair share.
As we know from the 13F filings there are a number of big players holding a substantial number of shares, with Blackrock and Vanguard being the biggest ones. They would make substantial gains by a squeeze not only due to increase in value of their shares but even more if Shitadel fails and they could scoop up some bones for cheap. Now Shitadel is a big contender with significant resources which is not easily brought down. Unless you find a way to increase the pressure and attack from multiple angles.
The one angle is us, the apes which strongly hold and buy the dips no matter what. That drains resources of Shitadel as kicking the can down the road is costly being forced to keep borrowing and shorting regularly more and more shares to suppress the price and fill FTDs. However, this is getting increasingly difficult with the new SEC/DTC rules in place and the walls are closing in.
If now someone starts to exploit this weakness by increasing the pain on different fronts the defense line is going to crumble pretty fast. Because even with Shitadel’s resources there is only so much you can do. And the sudden buy pressure in terms of volume we have seen on AMC is clearly “whale size” and not retail.

Adolf Hitler's plan for Poland's capital Warsaw had always involved demolishing the city and rebuilding it as "a provincial German town", but the 1944 Warsaw Uprising provoked the dictator into proceeding with the plan far earlier and far further than even he had at first envisioned.
The earlier 1943 Jewish uprising in the Warsaw Ghetto had already provoked Hitler to send SS-Gruppenführer Jürgen Stroop's troops to annihilate 50 thousand people within its walls, deport 36 thousand survivors to die in concentration camps, and destroy any remaining structures, which constituted about 15% of the entire city. After the massacre and destruction was over, Stroop's official report, sent to Himmler as a leather-bound souvenir album, triumphantly declared: "The Jewish Quarter of Warsaw Is No More!" on its title page.
The vicious reprisal indeed resulted in the complete annihilation of the ghetto, but it was the news of the city-wide revolt a year later that truly sent Hitler into a manic fury, which resulted in a new order: Warsaw must be pacified - that is, razed to the ground.
Heinrich Himmler himself expanded upon the order by stating: The city must completely disappear from the surface of the earth, and serve only as a transport station for the Wehrmacht. No stone can remain standing. Every building must be razed to its foundation.
Thus Warsaw became a testing ground for Hitler's future "Nero Decree". The first formal target of that decree would be Paris, but the city's destruction was avoided when its commander von Choltitz ignored Hitler's command which stated: Paris must not pass into the Allies hands, except as a field of ruins.
With Warsaw, however, the command was eagerly obeyed. SS-Obergruppenführer Erich von dem Bach-Zelewski, and SS-Gruppenführer and future mayor of Westerland Heinz Reinefarth were tasked with its implementation.
Oskar Dirlewanger's 36th Waffen Grenadier Division of the SS, the notorious unit described as "pardoned murderers commanded by a child rapist", was brought in to wipe out the city. They did so with enthusiasm, and Himmler's spoken permission to rape, steal and murder at will.

When playing a new game one of my favourite parts is to explore the world and unlock hidden areas/find unique crafting materials etc. With this game still in beta do you think they will adopt a fog of war approach to unlock your map or will you just instantly just have one when you arrive on the beach like last year's preview event. I think it's a little cheap to know where everything is when you first get in. I wouldn't know where I have and haven't explored when everything is instantly unlocked.
