Mine was marked shipped over a week ago, but it says it hasnโt even been received by usps yet. Their email response was essentially โDamn idk why it says that, Iโll check. sorryโ lol is this normal for them?
I bought the full windchime kit from MAF back in march, which I think was the first batch.
I JUST had an OOB detonation destroy my MK2 upper last week.
I never contacted MAF about any issues with the kit even after the OOB.
Today I received an empty envelope from them but there was a quarter inch tear in the envelope.
Just an coincidence and just assuming, but is MAF sending out replacements to all that bought their kits?
I just emailed them to ask but wondering if anyone else has seen anything about this.

I keep seeing people saying they're on the lookout, wanted to say I saw they were back in stock!
Hello,
I already have one, and i just printed the new AR-FGC platform lower from Ivan. It looks like itโs shaping up to be quite a beautiful piece. I will be shipping wood-filled PLA grips that match the aesthetic but fit the lower for it too.
However, I am worried that people will be unable to build this one since the upper parts kits are completely dried up. I was able to snag one off GunBroker a few months ago for about ~$300, but looking there today, there is no more left. When I purchased mine, there were at least 18 items remaining in that lot.
I have sent a Facebook message to MAF Corp, the company of the Mac-11 wind chime kit fame, practically begging them via Facebook message to develop a vz.61 kit alongside their Mac-11 one. I think it would be a slam dunk since the new Ivan model just came out, and it shouldnโt be too complicated since the upper is just stamped sheet metal, etc. etc. - plus they would have an absolute corner on the market for this parts kit.
Is there any other way I can reach them? Is there any other group or company who could be willing to develop an upper parts kit for this project to reach a bigger audience? The way it stands now, if you didnโt get a parts kit already, itโs impossible to find one.
How can we get another reliably-sourced parts kit for the vz.61 back on the market bros?
I have a question. Every neighbor I've had - who has had dogs seems to have an obsession with making noise constantly. Can someone please explain this mentality? The loudest types seem to be women in there 50s-on up. They seem to need barking, engines, wind chimes... just constant noise. Why is this? If anyone knows what I'm saying, please validate my observations. Elderly aged women, dogs, and wind chimes.
For instance... a handful of years ago we had a neighbor beneath us at an apartment complex. She would leave her dogs on the balcony and never walk them. She up and decides to get 6 ft LONG AND HUGE metal wind chimes and hang them over the balcony. Never mind the neighbor beneath her or above her. Fortunately someone complained on her and she had to take them down. But seriously it was the most ridiculous sight I've seen. GIANT wind chimes hanging over a balcony, and dogs left on the balcony.
Seriously now I'm with this type again, but in a neighborhood. We should categorize these types in a catalog so if you see these attributes from afar you can run like crazy in advanced, and avoid settling in a spot with neighbors like that. I need my sanity back. Ugh
Do you think theyโre just like a metallic overhang from his groin or like a fleshy protrusion that has dangly bits?
How would you approach a wind chime sound while avoiding special plugins or app-specific features.
I've managed to get a Kalimba-esque sound using a Sine oscillator with Square modulation, but hoping to steer it more toward that iconic resonance.
If you polled a large group of people (idiots) at random, they would likely list wind chimes as amongst the most serene and peaceful of sounds. They would be wrong. Wind chimes are incessant, uncontrollable and ceaseless. Their boundless cacophony borders on torturous. In the best case scenario, they are a delicately annoying menace at the back of your conscience. At their worst, wind chimes are an out of control clanging maelstrom of noise and clashing metal or wood. They must be stopped.
