Why are they so criminally underrated? Bury My Bones is easily my top song of 2020. It makes me sad that the only song of theirs I've ever heard on the radio was Broken Window Serenade.
I love me some Whiskey Myers. Would love to know any other bands that kind of have their southern rock feel but a lot of Texas roots.
Just to give you some context I already like Turnpike(of course), Boland, CCR, the Moonpies.
Not on Spotify, Youtube, Amazon, even Pirate Bay. Was specifically looking for Thief of Hearts, but realized I couldn't find any of that album.
The artists as guests theme on the podcast has been a little odd, but boy is Whiskey Myers really damn good. Definitely going on my playlist rotation.
I’ve looked everywhere for some sheet music for this song. Can anyone here help me out?
Hey everyone. The song Frogman by Whiskey Myers has always left me wondering whether it’s a song critical of war. Cause the whole song sounds a lot like the protagonist loves what he is doing, but there is one line saying: Id rather be fishing, instead I’m dodging bullets in this desert sand. This line always makes me think the song has an anti war message. What do you all think?
Hello to all! I was looking to get some advice from fellow Texas country music fans. There will be two shows coming near me that I would love to go to. One is Whiskey Myers playing in Austin, the other is Cody Jinks with Flatland Cavalry. I have not gone to anyone’s show mainly because of my works schedule. But I have gotten lucky and am off for both of these shows. Unfortunately I can not afford to watch both shows, so I was wanting to see if anyone would give me advice on what show to go to?
They did a show on YouTube/Instagram/Facebook. Anyone know if anything else like that is happening this weekend?
