I work a corporate job. I'm going back for an engineering degree because a HR-centric integrative studies degree is hard to get a stable gig out of state.
So I'm going back and might have to push carts or something stupid for a year or two to finish an E/E degree...but that's my reality.
Anyway. How hard is the rest of the E/E degree relative to Calc 2?
This is assuming calc 2 will take some work to get through. I'm not gifted at math but I'll work like a mf.
So I finally got the hedge recipe and of course my island has not had any weeds since I first bought the game a month ago LOL been using nm to gather some from those islands but would like to get some more! Let me know if your island needs some de weeding :)
& how did it smoke?
DM me if you're interested! Bring a vaulting pole and ladder.
I have this one are where there are TOO many weeds so I need about 2-3 people to pull them for me! Will pay each person 20,000 bells
I'm looking for islands to pick weeds, let me know if I can swing by! I do need to take the weeds with me to sell to those pesky tanukis.
There may be another post like this I may have overlooked, sorry if that's the case. Just wondering if any one here might have experience with both and might have some insight. I'm looking at either buying a Echo 21.2 cc Gas 2-Stroke Cycle Straight Shaft Trimmer or getting the Milwaukee M18 weeder with the quick lock or however they spell it feature. I'm already into Milwaukee's M18 ecosystem. I have a set of their drills and a Sawzall. So their weeder was initially the one that caught my attention. That big battery that comes with it would be useful for my other M18 tools as well. But their weeder is about $300 at Home Depot. Echo's product is about $200 and has glowing reviews. Both have good reviews. The Echo seems to have a few more good reviews and is cheaper. I'm no pro and would just be using this stuff around my house.
Any thoughts on the matter any one?
curious what you guys use and why. i use herbicide because it's plainly faster. 33m at 15mph in the big bud vs 21m at 7mph for the biggest weeder available to me (console).
I have a half acre that I'm trying to get into shape and looking for something to help
I’m looking at this website and it says that L&S CS has a lower acceptance rate than EECS. Yet I was told by counselors that EECS is harder to get into. https://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/infocenter/transfers-major. I was under the impression that L&S CS people don’t get admitted directly into the major, so is 5% not the initial admit rate, but rather the people who end up meeting the 3.3 in the 3 weeder classes and declare? I’m trying to understand my chances of actually getting to declare L&S CS.
There's usually around 300 students in the class, there are 3 exams: 2 midterms worth 25 percent each, and a final worth 50 percent of the grade. It's a weeder class, so all of the students are motivated to do well in order to preserve their Gpa in the major. Typically half multiple choice, half free response with strict time limit of 40 minutes for a midterm and 2 hours for the final. To earn an A- you would have to have a raw score better than 92 percent of the students in the class, for an A better than 96 percent. The professor posts a bunch of practice tests, and I do all of them as well as study off the lecture slides the professor posts.
However, things are not going well for me. On the first midterm, I only managed to earn a 45/50. The cutoff released for A- is 46/50. The second midterm I only managed a 44/50, and the cutoff to be on track for an A- 47/50. This class is killing me right now, I'm losing points left and right for silly mistakes and at least part on the free resp... keep reading on reddit ➡
Hey, I was wondering what the “weeder” classes for nursing majors are? I know technically they all could be considered as one because the gpa requirement is so high but there must be a specific few? I just saw i have to take Micro Bio 205 with Daydiff in the spring and i am very nervous! any advice ?!
Lmk, my island is full to the brim of weeds and I want em gone :P
Ty to the first two commenters ^^ totalled 1400 weeds lol
I love the idea of weeder geese but having had chickens and turkeys I am highly skeptical. I'd like them to live peacefully in the orchard, eating weeds and grass, leaving all the lettuce, strawberries, and other crops alone.
The realist in me sees them harassing my children, eating all our lettuce, and pooping everywhere.
Has anyone has geese and if so do you have feedback?
Our orchard has a gorgeous, over-engineered goose coop that has been sitting empty as each spring I just can't bring myself to pull the trigger.
First one to comment. I have a flat island with like clusters of weeds and know someone enjoys weeding more than I do. It’s not too crazy, but there are some. In return I can give a nmt (or 99k bells) and ONE choice of a diy on my beach.
I would like to keep the weeds please.
Chat or dm me your codes and i will weed the shit out of your island, i can work for free or if i could visit your shops and get rose seeds ill take those too
Hi everyone. Nature season is upon us which means it's time to clean up our towns. If you have a weed-filled town and need some clean up, I am your man. Comment your favorite food (so I know you're not a bot) if you would like some weeding done and I will dm you first for a dodo code in order of comments received.
Tips are welcome but not required!
Does anyone know if selling your weeds to Leif goes toward the Greedy Weeder Nook Miles achievement? Or does it have to be sold to the Nooks?
Im looking for something along the lines of the Fiskars, but not made in west taiwan, and preferably the USA. What options are out there? I just got a grampa's weeder and to my dismay it's made in the land of prison labor, so I'll be returning it
What I mean is, I'm pretty fucking lonely tonight.
i have been observing this subreddit for a while and was intrested in joining now that the refugees are coming i will help combat posts you dont have to accept me in but ill be an ally at least
