For decades I couldn't even imagine a sober weekend. In 30 years I had maybe 3 sober days. Now 100. Onward I head and thank you to all on here who give me inspiration
Seriously, the only technical difference between good vodka and bad vodka is filtration. You can actually filter any clear-ish alcoholic beverage enough times to eventually end up with vodka - even red wine.
This is a throw away account and I'm not mentioning my music, please don't ask. That's not what this post is about. This subreddit has been truly helpful in cleaning my life up. I just wanted to share what a difference of how life can be without drowning your days in a cloudy mess that always ends up in regret.
If you're still sobering up and saying that was the last time, or well on your way into another year sober - life is truly a blessing and a gift to make with it what we choose to.
