Just like India hadn't won in England for 32 years till they won in 1971, England had not won in India till 1976 since 1933. In 1976, in the first test in the Feroz Shah Kotla in New Delhi, India is 43/1 in reply to England's 381. The ball goes out of shape according to the bowlers and the umpire agrees. They change the ball. As soon as the ball is changed, the ball starts swinging like in England. On strike were Gavaskar and Gaikwad. John Lever, a relatively unknown bowler then, bowls like he is in England swinging it crazy and runs through the Indian batting with 10 wickets in the test with India losing by an innings. Keep in mind, the ball never wings at the Kotla. Never had till then and never since. In the 2nd test, India makes 155 and 181 and loses again. In the 3rd test in Madras, they score 174 and 84 and lose again.
Bishan Singh Bedi was at the crease when he noticed something. He is the legendary spinner, part of the famed spin quartet, who's known for not mincing his words. He saw a plastic strip of plaster or gauze lying next to the wicket. He picks it up, notices that it's really slippery and smells like Vaseline. He then brings it to the umpire's attention. The umpire calls Tony Greig, England's captain, demanding an explanation and then reports the incident to the match referee during the tea break. Bedi being Bedi, tells in the press conference with out any hesitation that he suspects Lever has been using Vaseline to generate swing since the 1st test and that it is disgusting the England would stoop so low. England gives an explanation saying the gauze was supplied by the team physician to prevent sweat from dripping into the players' eyes. BCCI asks the MCC to do an investigation to find out what happened. The MCC gave a clean chit to England.
Bishan Bedi used to play County cricket every year for Northamptonshire . They suddenly say that year that they are not going to renew his contract. The Test and County Cricket Board(TCCB), the predecessor of the ECB, makes a very public attempt to label Bedi a chucker. For context, TCCB had shot a video a few years back of Bedi's bowling action and distributed it among the counties to show the rest of the English spinners what an ideal spin bowling action should be.

I don’t know who needs to hear this but oh my god, in three days my nail beds look so smooth and healthy. What a great act of self care!
Never known why but i see a lot of the streamers doing it but still carry morphine. Can someone explain why and what the uses are for?
I have dry skin. I have acne. My skin's also dull. I'm 15. Currently my routine is simple. I wash my face with water in the morning and Neutrogena Salicylic Acid Cleanser at night. And I use Pond's Cold Cream afterwards. Dunno if it's internationally available though. Can I use Vaseline as moisturizer????????
First, thank you for taking the time to respond - it has been helpful.
I can't speak for others, but I'm in a super urban area, very small yard and house with no easy access to fresh eggs, and I'm not responsible enough to start keeping chickens.
I knew about liming and mineral oil, but had seen brief references online about ghee and vaseline, but not enough to make an informed decision.
While I have get home bags, and basic emergency preps, my reason for asking about eggs is because I'd love to be able to extend the eggs lives (in the fridge) without spoilage. Not for months, just weeks. Low maintenance prep, if you will.
I want to avoid mineral oil since it should not be ingested (I know petroleum jelly should not as well, it just somehow seems less bad since you don't need gloves to handle it). And ghee or clarifies butter seemed like a great choice since they were natural.
Again, thank you for responding - within all the comments were god, practical advice and ideas w/o judgement - exactly what makes this sub great. :)

I'm in the US, so our grocery store eggs have been washed of their natural coating.
I googled, but didn't get anything i felt was definitive, so I'd thought I'd ask a bunch of strangers on the internet.
Or somebody took the footage and applied a 3px blur to the whole thing because 640 by 480 is not low enough a resolution even for back then that they need it to be lower ?
I just had a random breakout around my chin/mouth area, and I can only think of attributing it to 1 of 3 things:
Has anyone had breakout experiences from 1 of these 3 things? I just want to be able to pinpoint what caused it so it doesn't happen again!
Dog hair, cat hair, my hair - you name it. I’m about to pull a Britney Spears and shave all living creatures in my household to solve this problem!!!!! UGHHH!!!! Lol ok I’m done now.
You're welcome to tell me why I'm wrong! But these are such easy, inoffensive steps that really change the game for dealing with tret dryness and purging. I think they should both be common beginner wisdom like buffering.
I’ve been on tret for about 2 months now. Started with 0.005% and now up to 0.007%. My nighttime routine is Cerave foaming cleanser, Cerave cream around eyes and mouth, then tret all over, then more Cerave on top or everything.
I’ve had issues with dryness, especially around my mouth and eyes.
I have found that just rinsing my face (rather than washing it) in the morning has helped somewhat with dryness. Because I’m not using an occlusive at night, my face feels pretty clean after just rinsing it, and I feel like the vitamin C serum I apply in the morning can actually penetrate.
I am now considering adding Aquaphor to my nighttime routine to further combat dryness.
If I do so, will I need to wash my face in the morning in order to get any use out of the vitamin C serum? I’m worried that washing my face will just make it more dry! Maybe I need to try something more gentle than the Cerave foaming cleanser?
Should I bring some Vaseline in my FAK? Did you use any on your though hike or is this something I can skip?
I got some money on Christmas and decided to buy this game since I had fun with it in the Beta. I Spend 12 hours downloading it and as I loaded into a game I regretted it.
The game somehow manages to be to dark and to bright at the same time
Its has a depth of field effect which you can’t disable
It also has chromatic aberration which you also can’t disable
And don’t even get me started on the overdone film grain
Idk how a AAA shooter thinks that adding 17 different filters that can’t be disabled for God knows why is a good idea
For reference I’m on a PS4 Pro on a 4K TV
BTW the net code has to be the worst thing I’ve experienced in my life
When Shelby is in the dressing room and asked another contestant something for earrings?
Is it for the hair not getting stuck to earrings or for sensitive ears?
Pageant hack? Or did I not get it right?
I’ve tried both occlusives and while they don’t give me acne, they give me a sort of bumpy texture that I can’t really explain.
