Have fun finding your big three twin!!
A girl I am friends with on Facebook is having b/g twins in a few months and is trying to pick out names so obviously, she asked her Facebook friends for their suggestions. Her only criteria is that the first letter be the same for both names. Some of these, I just have no words for. Everything in bold is directly from the comment, regular text in parentheses are my thoughts.
Here are the suggestions she received:
Brody and Bailey
Tyler and Taylor
Brittany and Brent
Brady and Belinda
Gabriele and Gayle
Oliver and Olivia
Jay-lyn and Jayden (the first of many hyphenated names in this list)
Lenox and Lakelynn
Leyton and Lindley
Alisa and Asher
Isaiah and Isabella
Mia and Max
Samuel and Sophia
Zachary and Zoe
Riley and Reagan
Charlie and Charlotte (this is the same name?)
Brianna and Bradley
Garrett and Grace
Gage and Gemma (I don't hate this one!)
Riley and Rayne
Arik/Eric and Alexandra/Elizabeth
Jace and Jasmine
Anara("rare") and Aaron
Kane and Kace ("pronounced like Kaycee") (why not just spell it like Kaycee?)
Kay-lyn and Kameron
Briley/Braylynn and Brody
Brady and Blair (these aren't bad!)
Alyssa and Aaron/Ashton
Makeyna and Mason
Lauren and Logan
Grace and Grayson
Kinsley and Kyle (is this the 90s?)
Stephan and Stella
Madison and Matthew
Michael and Molly
Grace Lynn and Greyson
Gracie and Grey
Ruby and Ray
Makenzie and Macklyn
Trinity and Tristan
Risa and Rylan
Makenna and Mason
Ryland and Roselynn/Raelynn
Maelynn and Macon
Blake and Blair
Blake and Bridgette
Blake and Bethany
Brooks and Bridget
Anna Grace/Anna Marie and John Luke (this one doesn't even follow the same letter rule?)
Cashlynn and Cashton (you can call them both Cash!!! perfect! A real 2 for 1 deal!)
Parker and Piper
Everleigh and Emersyn (mom's favorites, dad doesn't like)
Bristol and Bennette (if Bennette was spelled Bennett, this might be my favorite)
Everleigh and Ethan/Edward/Eli
Ava and Ayden
Maven and Mason
Kameron and Kamryn ("then you can call them Ron and Ryn") (I am speechless)
Kayla and Kyle
Bryana and Bentley (her oldest son is named Bentley so idk why they suggested this name)
Mackenzie and Michael
Henry and Henrietta (stop it, stop it, stop it)
Deseray and Dawson

Wow it's been almost a year. Just remembered this account and thought I'd log in to give an update. In the end I didn't let my brother know of the screenshots until after they broke up (she was pressuring him to get married and he didn't want to). All things considered, 2020 could have gone worse. The twins have adapted well to the many, many changes in school environments this year and I'm so proud of them. I'm also earning quite a lot more this year due to the virus, as more people are crafting.
Seeing how so many people thought I was a leech gave me quite the shock. Honestly I would never stop putting my kids first, and that includes making sure that they have access to everything they need, even if that means accepting money so that they live a better life. But it also made me reevaluate what I'm doing for me, and what would happen in the next 10 years, so I'll be going back to finish my bachelor's (the credits still count!) in the fall this year :)
Thanks for your comments!

Just call me Daddy Dame from now on... Kali Emma Lee Lillard (Callie...girl) and Kalii Laheem Lillard (kuh-lee ..boy ) ... Couldnβt leave jr out... 1-21-21 β€οΈπππ½
Iβm actually disgusted and filled with rage by this. Letβs hope I can explain it clearly.
A friend and her husband had both been married previously. Husband had a daughter in marriage #1, friend had a son in marriage #1. When they got married to each other, they decided to have a child of their own and had a girl. So essentially thus far, husband has only had girls in terms of kids that are biologically his.
Heβs now desperate for a son of his own so they try for another in the hopes of a boy, get pregnant with twins, and BAM! Confirmed itβs two more girls.
This deeply upsets me. Thereβs now 5 children on this earth because this guy had to have a boy. What is wrong with people? Do they not understand the consequences of their actions??????
Title was hard, sorry.
TL;DR: Mom gave me and my twin (18F) matching names. Both of these names have the same potential nickname. Mom decided only sister could use that nickname, but sister hasnβt used it in years. I didnβt correct people at college when they started calling me that, and Mom is mad at me. AITA?
My mom (35F) gave matching names to my twin and me (18F). I donβt want to give away our real names, so Iβll pretend our names are Eleanor and Eliza, which both have the nickname Ellie. My mother has been very insistent since we were little that if our names are to be shortened, my sister gets to bear the name of Ellie and I can only go by Liz/Lizzie. When we were 12, my twin decided that Ellie is too feminine for her and started to go by Eli. The only person who still calls my sister Ellie is our mother. Everywhere else she goes by Eli and occasionally Eleanor for professional reasons.
I decided to go to a college a few hours away. Basically nobody there has met my family. The only ones who know I have a twin are those that I have told. Some of the friends that I have made started to call me Ellie months ago and I didnβt care. I asked my sister if she was cool with it and she said it was fine. While I didnβt keep it a secret from my mother, I hadnβt told her either.
Yesterday, she found out because of a social media post. She texted me a screenshot of someone calling me Ellie on Facebook with the message, βLoL how did they mix u upβ. I told her they didnβt confuse us and that some classmates are calling me that now. She called me about an hour later and asked if I was trying to hurt her feelings. I told her that I didn't ask anyone to call me that, they just started it because it's a 'natural' nickname. I also reminded her that Eli hasnβt gone by Ellie in years, and I asked her first. She replied that I should have immediately corrected them because names are an important part of identity. If I go by Ellie, I would start taking on my sisterβs characteristics and I would never be a separate person from her. (This is kind of hard to explain, but I felt like my mother was taking advantage of feelings I had shared with her about struggling to feel like and be seen as an individual. It was part of why I chose the school that I did.)
She ended with a guilt trip about how she had chosen names that were very special to her and that she had known I was Eliza and not Eleanor from the moment she saw me.
Note: Eleanor, Eliza, Ellie, and Eli was the fi

A week before Christmas, itβs the best present Adebayo has ever had the privilege of giving.
>βItβs gotta be No. 1,β Adebayo told Complex exclusively. βJust helping somebody like that, in that situation, and all the negative situations thatβs happened to her the last couple of months, thatβs definitely top of my list.β
>More than just handing over money, the 23-year-old burgeoning basketball star also pledged to help with the upkeep and maintenance of the house, like upgrading the dΓ©cor and improving the landscaping around the property. It was an incredible gesture by Adebayo that may surprise some basketball fans. But itβs absolutely on brand if you know Bam.
>When Bogan, who has struggled to support her family following a car accident two years ago, was presented with the gift she was speechless. So was Adebayo, who watched from a distance due to NBA COVID protocols. Boganβs appreciationβand, frankly, her relief from the stresses of worrying about her family's futureβwas conveyed through tears. Words were not necessary.
>βYou could feel it through tears of joy,β says Adebayo. βThere was no conversation. It was pure joy for her and her family. Theyβre not getting evicted for Christmas.β
>Adebayoβs motivation to give back stems from his mother, Marilyn Blount. She instilled a sense of compassion and charity in her son from an early age, reminding him often that even though their means were meager, they were lucky compared to other less fortunate families. Adebayo paid Blount back for all her sacrifices, buying her a house for her 56th birthday earlier this month. While she raised Adebayo in North Carolina in a single-wide trailer, Blount endured some of the same struggles as Bogan. So it was perfect that Adebayo came through with the assist.
>βMy mom is such a giving and loving person so I feel like it was inherited, for real,β says Adebayo. βThatβs how she built me to be. Thatβs how Iβm molded. Iβve always wanted to help people and Iβve always wanted to make someoneβs life easier.β
My [18M] sister [18F] broke a leg and an arm in a car crash. I'm her brother. Our mother has been helping her get in and out of the shower after she slipped trying to get out. Its difficult for her to get in and out.
Like maybe once a week or so when our mom is not here but I am and she needs a shower she asks me to help her. I help her step into the shower and onto a stool to sit on, turn the water on, and when she is done I return to turn off the water and help her off the stool and out of the shower. I see her naked while helping her but she said it was ok and that she isn't embarassed or uncomfortable.
My mom came home and realized my sister had showered and asked her how she took the shower and she said I helped her. She confronted me saying I shouldn't do this and that I shouldn't see her naked and that its "wildy inapropriate" and to not do that in her house.
