Images, posts & videos related to "Twilight Series"
Listen…I’m a 32 year old dude that meets zero criteria for watching Twilight.
I never watched a movie, knew anything about the series, read the books, or had an interest in watching.
After watching almost everything I could since Covid started and there being a lack of new stuff to watch, I finally decided to give it a go.
The movies were cheesy, but I’m glad I watched them to finally “know” what the hell Team Edward and Team Jacob meant when I heard about it almost a decade ago.
What got me was the end credits. I think it was actually the best credits scene and how they honored every actor/actress from all the movies with their face/video by their name. I don’t think I’ve ever seen that in a movie, especially honoring every single actor/actress from all the previous movies.
Any other closing credits scenes that top that?
Here’s a link to the end credits scene for reference.
Edit - Dang the downvotes are heavy. I was just talking about the end credit scenes.
For example, they had a character named “Victoria” who was recast in the middle of the series (Bryce Dallas Howard was the replacement) and they showed both actresses playing the role in the credits. That’s crazy!
Mine is probably Edward (but I love all the characters also) cause he's such a sweet heart .. never came across such a character in my life (I wish he was real; not a fictional character (TT))
Like, every single time a vampire mentions twilight its either bragging about it (you know the guy in twilight? That's me!) or talking about watching the movies, or trying to be more like the twilight vampires. Like the easy joke would be that real vampires are annoyed by the lame sparkly versions being popular but this way is so much funnier
Hey guys,
I grew up watching The Twilight Zone (1959-1964) original series. It's an amazing sci-fi anthology series that has a lot of horror/thriller/mystery elements. A lot of horror movies today are inspired by the show and I wanted to share my top six favorite episodes with the best horror.
I haven't seen every episode, so share your faves down below, I'd love to watch them! If you haven't seen The Twilight Zone, give it a chance. It still holds up to this day and it has inspired horror films like A Nightmare on Elm Street and Final Destination. It's is currently streaming on Hulu.
Only Venmo and PayPal accepted. Will provide discounts for orders of three or more movies. Otherwise prices are firm.

There is a song playing on the jukebox when the guy walks into the diner. I’ve tried everything to find the song and haven’t been able to. It’s a big band jazz song, does anyone know the name of it?
For context, I've never read the books, but I've seen some of the movies. I remember when the books came out, and it seemed like they were hated from the beginning. Why?
I am wanting to get the white edition of the twilight series but I was wondering if the white edition had the red pages or if it is just normal white pages? If you own them, What do you think? Was it worth the $$?
THANK YOU!! ❤️
Im on the first book
I was watching this video earlier today which tries to discuss whether the Twilight movies or the Hunger Games movies are better, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6kxM6-JUUjw and it reminded me of how people try to dismiss other people's love for Twilight (or any other media for that matter) by essentially saying that the saga is terrible in comparison to another series (that they prefer). I guess I want to know what your take on the video is and whether you agree with what the video uploader and most of the commenters have said? To be fair to the uploader of the video, I don't think he is in any way overly harsh in his criticisms of the saga but I still don't quite understand the need to compare different fiction series with different intended purposes to one another.
Alright, here we go. To start, let me say that my background/degree is in English & creative writing. This means I spent all four years of my college career analyzing works of literature and critiquing pieces of creative writing. Also, I first read the Twilight Saga in middle school (when everyone was reading it and declaring themselves to be either Team Edward or Team Jacob). I've also reread the series multiple times since then and have enjoyed it every time.
I genuinely understand the common criticisms people throw in Twilight's direction. The central relationship between Edward and Bella is unrealistic at best and highly possessive at worst. Bella is far from the epitome of a strong female character, and the fact that she's framed as someone who literally cannot live without some guy isn't exactly a lesson anyone should want to teach their teenage daughter. Many critics of Twilight mention the clumsy writing, heavy use of adverbs (as opposed to strong nouns, verbs, and adjectives), and underdeveloped characters and plot. Again, I can see all of that, and they're valid concerns.
Here's the thing, though. Twilight is, at the end of the day, a YA series. It's a series that's meant to resonate mainly with teenage girls--with all their unrealistic, romanticized ideas about love and relationships. I vividly remember being a teenager who hadn't had a boy so much as glance in my direction, dreaming about the possibility of finding my Prince Charming one day and living happily ever after. Over the past 12 years, I've grown out of that mindset in favor of something more realistic and healthy, despite being a fan of Twilight. That shift in mindset was part of the process of growing up, finding myself, and learning about what I want from life and from romantic relationships. This is to say that Twilight probably isn't permanently damaging relationship expectations any more than other run-of-the-mill chick flicks and romance novels.
Furthermore, it has to be mentioned that Twilight was the series that made so many teenage girls fall in love with reading. For a lot of us, it was the first book we'd avidly discuss at lunch time and recess, in study hall and in homeroom before the bell rang. We had thoughts about it, and we felt free (and excited!) to share our thoughts about it with each other. Back then, we didn't know much about plot structure, characterization, or the things that make strong writing. We discussed it in the ways we knew how

Reddit keeps requiring a password change for my main account, so I created this one. It's brand new. I'm sorry if that seems sus.
I actually want to talk about these books. I want to discuss the relationships and how the characters are driven by motives that, while they seem selfless, are actually quite selfish, and the ripple effect the motives have on the people around them.
Like, I actually kind of felt really sad when Bella had to finally admit to herself that she loves Jacob, and she sees a life with him she realizes she can never have because she has put all of her eggs in Edward's basket. She is convinced, at this point, she cannot live without Edward. But she hadn't allowed herself the chance to actually consider it before Edward squeezed his way back in.
She was actually healing with Jacob. She compared him to the sun. He brought warmth and happiness. He was easy to be around. He wasn't always so tense and overprotective. Yes, he doesn't respect her boundaries in Eclipse like he should. It's annoying at times. This doesn't excuse it, but Bella has him on her hook and she knows it. Yes, she makes it clear that their relationship isn't like that, but she still holds his hand and cuddles up to him with the knowledge that it means something to him that it doesn't mean to her. And it takes her until his breaking point to finally realize the implications of using him as some type of salve for the wounds that Edward left. She struggles with the concept of her Jacob vs. other Jacob, but he is a whole person. And her actions affect both sides of him equally. He is an impatient ball of rage, but that rage can be contained with time, just as Edward contained his thirst.
Jacob made a great point that, if Edward had actually stayed away when he abandoned Bella "for her own good", he and Bella would have actually had a shot. And he is better for her, because what he can give her doesn't involve cutting ties with everyone in her life just because she thinks Edward is beautiful and he does everything he can to make sure she stays dependent on him.
This love triangle is obviously overblown and meant to get people involved in the fandom, but I have to say...I think it presents a type of scenario that should be taken seriously. It really delves into forms of healthy and unhealthy attachment, making decisions for other people, and ultimately allowing yourself to be blinded by manipulation until it's too late to consider what actually might be a
... keep reading on reddit ➡Did Twilight disappear for anyone else? I was just starting Breaking Dawn Part 1 and then the player stopped. When I tried to reload, it said that the title was no longer available. Now I don't see any of the Twilight movies on Netflix at all. If I search for them and I find them, it just has the "remind me" button. Why would they put Twilight on just to pull it off a couple weeks later?
Edit: Thanks to whoever said to check my VPN! I turned my VON off and the whole Twilight series was back on for me!
Are any of the seasons of the original Twilight Zone series available for D2D?
