I have a phone system (Zultys) that uses multicast traffic for paging groups of phones. I have some phones at remote locations that they want to receive the same pages as the main location. The layer 2 network was stretched to accommodate this when it was set up in previous years.
Examining the traffic it sends the multicast out with a TTL of 1 so I can't route it.
I have Aruba 5400 Zl2 switches that handle the routing. I verified that I am able to route other multicast traffic with a higher TTL with no problems.
I spoke with the phone vendor and they don't have a way to change the TTL. It appears that I can explore using a CyberData SIP Paging Server with the phone system.
Does anyone have a product or method they suggest or use to deal with scenarios such as this?
Thank you for any help. Getting a paging server wouldn't be the worst thing ever I just didn't know if anyone had any suggestions on how to approach this that were different then something that specific.

So I've been testing out some proprietary software on windows 10 that is using multicast. I was able to get it to work on a flat network, however, once I tried to route it things failed. I knew my multicast routing was set up correct, so I did a Wireshark and found the multicast packets were being sent with a TTL of 1.
I talked to the company about this, asking if there was a setting they had in there. They told me the problem was with windows, and that I needed to change a multicast TTL setting in windows. However, I'm unable to find anything like a registry setting. I've only found programming guides to tell the Winsock how to handle it. From what I can tell it's on the program itself. Does anyone have any other insight?

Very clean and works fine. Meter works fine and agreed with my Sekonic. Flick the switch to on and it meters for 15 seconds I think. Foam is good. Minimal dust. The dust you see was on the focus screen. Barely noticeable dent at the top of the prism. Eyepiece was a little dirty, but will clean it up before shipping.
Includes the shutter speed ring.

Excellent condition. No dust inside. Functions properly. Minor cosmetic wear around the eyepiece.
Unscrew the eyepiece on the prism, place this on, screw the eyepiece back in and make sure you set the diopter to your vision. Flip it down and it magnifies the center portion of the screen for super accurate focusing.

I have a problem with my Zenit TTL. See this video (don't worry about the sound the 2nd time I'm pulling, it's just me hitting something in my room ahah).
Specifically, it seems that there's a problem with one of the plate of the shutter (I'm not sure that I'm using the right words for it since English is not my main language, see the video for more details). It get stuck when it should be pulled to the right. If I pull it completely (which I didn't do on the video), the top part goes all the way to the right (as it should), but the bottom part stays behind.
Does anyone of you have any idea about how it could get fixed? There's no analog specialist anywhere near where I live, so I'd rather try to fix it myself if it's possible :) I love this camera to death (this was my first one), so I really hope it's a kinda-easy fix that I can do by myself!

$2400 - M6 is CLAβd in 2019 from last owner by YYE, meter and shutter speed is sound and accurate. Except the 28/90 frame, the rest has their secondary frame lines masked off so youβd see just the 35mm and 50mm by themselves. A couple small dents towards the bottom plate. SOLD
$575 - Lens has a Leica tab double taped where the nub is, the hood has a slight dent. There is some internal specks but no noticeable impact to the images.
$125 - Flash has a bit of bleed on towards the top screen.

Can I just stick an LED & resistor between the chips (like what I do with my arduino pins)? I've tried it & it seems to work ok but the LEDs are a little dim. I didn't know if the ICs could drive the LEDs & the input of the next IC at the same time.
So im trying to help a friend who lives in a rural area that has good cell signal, but zero options for fast internet. He's wanting to provide internet for his kids and to be able to stream Netflix.
He has a GL-750S Router and using his Verizon phone to tether his mobile data (unlimited). He wants to bypass his hotspot data limit of 15gbs.
I've tried to different sets of code that I've found among other forums. While the internet works and speed is great, the code has not prevented Verizon from tracking his mobile hotspot data.
I added the following code to the firewall custom rules, and reset firewall & rebooted the router.
Attempt #1: "iptables -t mangle -I POSTROUTING 1 -j TTL --ttl-set 65"
Then I tried this..

I've been using cricket for over 6 months, but it looks like the jig is up. Everything was working fine on TTL 65, but I tried to upgrade to a better modem (from EM7455 to EM7565), and now the Sims are getting immediately flagged and suspended. I'm wondering if there are any providers people have had luck with with custom TTL, or are those days over?

I have a bubbler which detects a pipe that empty. 1/16" diameter. The sensor outputs 5V TTL 4.6vdc high and 0.6vdc low.
Does anyone have any suggestions on feeding this back to a PLC. Simpler the better. I have RS232 idea but need it to be understanding for maintenance technicians if faults happen.
