My fellow fantasy fanatics, I need your help, I really do. I love Kelly oubre jr. as much as every cheerleader in the nba probably does, but he has been going through a serious slump so far. I attempt to watch the Golden State Warriors play night in and night out and Kelly oubre just seems like he cannot find a rhythm in their offense.
The season is young, but every fantasy week counts, and it hurts seeing him average approximately 8 fantasy points in my 10 Team Points League. He is getting decent minutes at the rate of 27.1 mins per game as well as averaging 5.6 rebounds so far. I also truly believe His assist (0.6) , steals (1.5) and block (1.0) averages per game all have the potential to rise.
Currently, his points average sits at a disappointing 10.5 PPG, and this is even more disappointing considering what I saw him do in Phoenix last year with 18.7 PPG. He is at a career high 1.9 Turnovers per game and I’m worried that trend may continue or sit at around the 1.5 mark which is fine but it just adds on to the depressing start he is having so far, but we all know the real elephant in the room is this man’s three point shooting (0.8 3PM). He has had a historically bad three point shooting start the season and you can see the frustration in his eyes. We all can see and feel his pain, I really feel sorry for him because I know he can hit them at the same rate he used to in Phoenix (35% from behind the arc for the season last year) Even the warriors bench know it, and they act as if they just won back to back championships when he hits a wide open three pointer from the corner. I love that they are cheering him on but on the other hand it’s quite sad it has to be that way.
Oubre’s dunks, putbacks and blocks showcases his incredible athletic ability as well as the passion he has when completing those highlight plays. Watching Steve Kerr’s offense, it doesn’t seem to allow kelly’s athletic side to shine, unless it’s on a transition play.
Watching the game tonight against the Clippers, he once again had a game where he was below even the sad averages he has for this season, scoring 6pts 1 Stl and 5 Rebs in 21 mins. But more importantly, if you also watched the game, you would have noticed he was not apart of the incredible comeback the warriors led by Stephen Curry of course, made in the third and fourth quarter. When the game was it it’s most crucial turning point and to seal it off, oubre was at the end of the bench, and unfortunately for him, it allow... keep reading on reddit ➡
First of all, I'm glad this forum exists.
About me: I'm on the left politically. I'm not an "anti-vaxxer." I am deeply concerned about these three things:
My concerns also include the economic immiseration of hundreds of millions, the damaging effects on physical health and mental health of the lockdowns, the distorted representations of the efficacy of these vaccines (in that the efficacy is estimated, not known, because they have not been put through proper trials) ...
.... and the fact that even writing what I am writing here leaves me open to accusations of "spreading lies and misinformation."
Kelly is having a really rough rough start in GS. Give the man some serious love and energy and hope we get to see the old kelly wherever he is at.
