It would be very simple to do this. Just look at your local bus, train, or tram service revenue for the past three years and average it out. Then divide it by the residence in the city and apply the tax across the resident. you could even apply a slight increase on this rate to account for more drivers or operators of the public transportation.
This ultimately would reduce costs, as you would no longer need to enforce tickets, people who jump turn styles, etc. this ultimately would reduce the cost for security or police forces for transportation.
Further, I believe making free transportation would reduce DUI, reduce carbon emissions, and traffic. Also it would allow people who are experiencing homelessness to be able to commute to jobs without having to pay out of pocket.
I am by no means a big fish in crypto but I tend to read lots of related stuff here on reddit and on telegram. Since 2018 I used to buy fractions of eth since I could not afford to buy a whole eth at once, yeah, us who live and work in eastern Europe doesn't earn as much as western people. Majority of my salary was for covering flat rent, gas and transport fees, food and the tiny bits of what's left - crypto. Just a year ago I got my motorcycle driver license and of course being this dumbfounded youngster I went for the goods that are out of my wage: I bought well kept vintage Honda motorcycle (Sabre, 1985). With the profit that I gained from eth I have finally paid off my debt and not only that but I was also able to buy a proper gear and clothes to ride safe!
I read stories here that some people pay off they mortgage or studies, some even are able to buy realy expensive things but things here are different. I am happy with what I was able to do! A big thanks for this community.
The route is constituted by 2 avenues. The first one is the longer one and it has two ascents but also one big descent.
The second one is pretty plain. Quite easy to go I guess. The thing that worries me the most is the traffic. I don't know how to behave in traffic with a bike.
I can't pay very much for a bike. I can see that it would take around 25-30 min to arrive.
It would be awesome for my body and pockets.
They couldn't resist the allure
I’m referring to the white transports such as the ones escaping from Hoth. As far as I understand these are unarmed cargo ships that would be essential for moving rebel bases or other logistics of war, but useless in a space battle. Nevertheless we see at least one at the battles of Scarif and Endor. What is the logic of bringing these into battle?
I’ve only been living in Dublin for 5 months so I feel like I’m taking the bus wrong. When I present my leap card to the driver, what do I say? Usually I just repeat the name of the stop I want to get off at until the driver can hear me through my mask, but this always seems to annoy them. I hear other people saying numbers but I’m too afraid to linger to hear them better. What are they saying? What am I supposed to say? Are there other unspoken public transport rules I should know about?
