The bongo (Tragelaphus eurycerus) is a large antelope native to the jungles and highlands of tropical Africa. Despite its large size, it is a timid creature skilled at running through dense undergrowth and its vivid stripes serve as camouflage.

[Question] Why is there much less species per genre than there is with modern animals?

Why do we have almost as many Dinosaur Genus as we do Species? Like with modern Mammals the Spiral horned Antelope have 8 species in the genus Tragelaphus (Greater Kudu - Tragelaphus Strepsiceros, Lesser Kudu - Tragelaphus Imberbis, Bongo - Tragelaphus Eurycerus, Mountain Nyala - Tragelaphus Buxtoni, Lowland Nyala - Tragelaphus Angasii, Sitatunga - Tragelaphus Spekii, Imbabala - Tragelaphus Slvaticus, and Kewel - Tragelaphus Scritpus) but the only Dinosaur Genre that comes to mind with more than 2 species is Parasaurolophus.
