I'm way behind the Venom/symbiote/Knull storyline currently (I'm just starting Absolute Carnage Omnibus), but it seems like King in Black is another collab event with other comic series just like Absolute Carnage did, and I was really disappointed with the Absolute Carnage trade paperbacks, I bought the Venom and Scream ones to start off with and they were really confusing and out of order, you couldn't read it as it's own thing as it skipped past a lot after the first issue or so. I ended up ordering the Omnibus because of this issue because it collected all of the stories and oneshots in order. Does this series have a story where each trade paperback should be a fluent story, or will it need an omnibus collection to make sense reading it in order? And how many oneshots and collabs are going on in total? Another thing I liked about the Omnibus was that though it was expensive, overall it's a much cheaper option than buying them all individually.
I switched years ago to collecting graphic novels instead of floppies since I collect to read and share. Iβve found some apps for tracking comic collections but they donβt have data for graphic novels etc. is there a way I can create a database of my books? It would be great to have it on my phone so I can check against it when Iβm at the comic book store.
Looking at starting reading comings and thinking about going with trade paperbacks over hardcovers or omnibuses, as I've never really like hardcover books. I was wondering does anyone sleeve or protect there trade paperbacks or is it not worth the time??
Iβm thinking about reading the Fourth World Saga trade paperbacks but Iβm wondering what is the best way to read them? Should I read them in this order: Supermanβs Pal Jimmy Olsen, Forever People, Mister Miracle, New Gods or should I read it the omnibus order where the stories intertwine?
What is your guys most favourite (for DC comics): trade paperbacks or deluxe editions or absolute editions or omnibuses?
Has anyone been able to find anything on when the trade paperback for the Waking Hours will be released? I've looked everywhere and didn't find anything.
I just finished the series for the first time and would love to keep delving into their adventures. Thanks!

Iβm wondering where people are getting the US trade paperback from? I know it doesnβt release until october but iβve seen a couple people selling their copy on facebook and mercari.
I want to start collecting the series I'm not reading right now but I'm worried how complicated jumping in will be. I've read HoX/PoX so I am aware of the current status quo. Is there a "correct" reading order (i.e read X-Men then X-Force then etc) or a general consensus sort of reading order (i.e recommend reading X-Men then New Mutants as this is mentioned/impacts both)?
Also do the trades skip X of Swords issues?
First time posting here. I hope the formatting is OK. I would prefer to sell some of these together in groups, but willing to get rid of some separately. All are in excellent condition unless otherwise noted.

... keep reading on reddit β‘Just got into the series, really love it. Just finished Volume 5. Does Volume 6 include the last two issues of the Lazarus series before the issues 1-3 of Lazarus: Risen? Fuck I love this series, can't believe I didn't get into it for so long!
Here's the official Tweet from Del Rey.
The first trade paperback will be Thrawn Ascendancy: Chaos Rising.
The last MMP for a new title that they'll publish is "Victory's Price" so that the Alphabet Squadron series will be consistent.
For now they're saying already-published MMPs will continue to be made, so not to worry about that just yet, but they're exploring a possible transitioning of older books to trade paperbacks eventually.
This seems to mostly just affect the USA. International editions are not affected, as apparently they're a different size/format already.
And obviously the THR connection is that it would seem there will never be MMP-sized THR paperbacks. :(
Got some extra money, looking for some good stories. Any suggestions?
Looking to pick up some cheap used TP to read to entertain myself. Light damage is okay just please mention.
Hey everyone, I am selling off chunks of my collection. Just need the room.
This is a random collection of trade paperbacks and one hard cover.
All books are in good condition. I'm not a pro grader, but the majority of these were read once and then put away. They come from a smoke-free home.
I'm selling each book for $8 shipped. If you live near Philadelphia, we can work out a lower price for local pickup. If you're interested in multiple books, I can bundle shipping. If you have questions, let me know. Thanks!
