I've got a leak in my car that I'm fairly certain is from the sunroof drain but I don't want to go yanking on tubing and break something. Anyone have a place that they can recommend for this kind of work?
Also if anyone can explain the appeal of a sunroof that might make me less furious that it exists.
It opened...then closed halfway, started slowing down, made a click/crack sound, stopped then opened back up. There is some little plastic tab thing on the right side that guides it, and it was completely shattered. I had to basically push it closed because it wouldn't close on it's own.
Got an appointment tomorrow at the dealership to look at it. I got 3000 miles/6 months left on the 36000 mile warranty. Are they going to give me any problems to fix it do you think?
Hello! Quick question for someone who hopefully can help me out. I recently received a 2018 Touring w/ the package to essentially make it the base GT model, but it's a salvage title (theft) that my father helped me acquire. Everything has been fine with it other than the sunroof doesn't seal on the front left corner and appears to be raised about half an inch. It's not derailed or anything, it just appears that it was put 1 rung up or something so it doesn't sit in as the rest of the sunroof does.
Is there a solution to lowering that side, like is there a rung system that they're on that raises or lowers them if I can take it apart a bit? Also, how difficult would it be to remove/tinker with, or would I have to take off more paneling and would be more of a professional job? I got this from Texas and I live in AZ, so I'm trying to do it myself if it's a relatively simple fix rather than just trying to have them figure something out, but I don't want to end up damaging it more and end up being on the hook for it.
My father was the one who gave them my money for the vehicle so he's the one who dealt with them and I've already notified him of the problem, I'm just trying to see if the only option is to wait for them to figure it out seeing as it's been raining the last few days here and I don't have a garage to keep the car.
Quick post to see if anyone knows whatβs wrong here... Iβve got a 2018 model year LE with a standard sunroof (not the pano on the higher trims) and the sunroof leaks quite a bit on the left side. Picture attached to this post.
My guess is a clogged gutter, but Iβm having trouble locating them under the car. Has anybody had any luck finding/clearing them in the past who can tell me where to find them under my car? Any and all help would be appreciated. Oregon is a hard state to live in with a car that canβt keep water out...
Thanks in advance!!

I can't help but think this is a stellar deal... thought I'd ask you guys. It's Soul Red Crystal with a black leather interior...
$21,500CDN equals $17,158US.
I'm thinking I should jump on it... thoughts?
I bought a 2019 Stinger GT2 brand new back in July of last year. From the day I got it it's had a pretty audible rattling noise from the sunroof (something I know has been an issue with Stingers from what I've read from others online).
One dealership tried to claim it was my sunglasses in the sunglass holder (utterly ridiculous), and another dealership happen to have a Kia corporate tech there that did tighten something on it which did reduce the noise maybe 60-70% for maybe a couple months, but it eventually went back to being almost as bad as in the beginning. A third dealership cleaned everything and greased things a bit more, but hasn't helped much.
So any info regarding any fixes anyone has implemented or had a dealership do that has worked would be greatly appreciated.
Over the past two or so weeks my sunroof on my 2019 GTI SE has started to rattle, itβs driving me crazy. To me it sounds like the glass is rattling/creaking in the housing. As soon as I tilt the sunroof or crack it open it goes away. Has anyone had this issue before? Does anyone have any solutions?
