Hey guys! So I've been putting off some work to be done at the house for a few years. Mostly having to do with leveling and sloping, installing french drains, building a berm wall to prevent water from going into the leach field etc etc. The reason I'm asking in this sub is because I'm a guy over 30 looking for some expertise of others that have either made a choice they were glad they made or maybe regretted it. Basically the work is kind of badly needed as it's been wetter these past couple of years and my septic isn't working well due to oversaturation. My dilemma come from either hiring someone to do the work, which I'll probably have to get a loan out for it, rent a small tractor for a few months or buy a used small subcompact tractor and reselling it after a year or two. Has anyone else decided on buying the tractor and regretted it later or were you glad you did? I feel i would be out less money at the end by going that route but I'm wanting to see if I'm looking at this all wrong.
What subcompact SUV do you recommend ?
My current car is running fine (2008 Mazda3, 180k) but Iβm at the point with hauling around my almost four year old that I want a bigger car and I have $$$ to pay cash. And while she keeps getting bigger, my car stays the same size...
Considerations:
Thanks in advance!
Especially if you buy is used, and what year would you recommend.
Apparently the spark, fiesta, versa, and mirage are not good, but those are the most that I see.
Looking for a fun to drive, not more than $25, 000 subcompact car that has some power (for a subcompact budget car anyway. Don't want to feel like I'm driving a riding lawnmower). I'm in the USA and it has to be a 2021 model. Just a commuter car, don't care about storage space or number of seats. No Korean cars. Thanks.
Just picked up the PX4 Storm SC and looking for a IWB holster. Any suggestions? Looking for comfort, quality and usability. Thanks!
So, Iβm trying to get my fiancΓ© comfortable with carrying. We live kind of in the suburbs/farmland areas and she works in the city. I want her to be able to protect herself when she works late. I carry a hellcat myself, but seeing that theyβre so new, I donβt have a flashlight on mine yet that I want to afford. I want hers to have a flashlight on it that we can afford. Any suggestions of what xd chambered in 9mm I could be looking for and maybe where I could buy one other than a store, armslist, and gunbroker? Thanks for your time and help!
Recently looking at the 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer LT or the 2020 Ford Ecosport SES. This is not my forever car most likely will drive it for 3-5 years. Iβm not financing and am just buying it out right to have a small AWD car to get me through until I make a few more moves in my career. Trailblazer is coming in at 25k and the Ecosport is 22k. The Ford seems to have more options in the SES trim but the styling of the Trailblazer is appealing to me, and the LT trim has all the options I need (auto start, heated seats). I truly cannot decide which car to purchase, especially since itβs not one that I plan on hanging on to and just need something for the next few years.
Anyone have a good force for a subcompact in stock in black?
Iβm not having much luck.
I'll be fairly low salary at first ($42 - 45k) in a very low cost of living environment. I'm in a 2005 Corolla, and have enjoyed the maneuverability. My gripe is that the car won't GO. Merging on highways has always been a nail biter.
So, I'm hoping to hover around the 20k mark new, but something that won't struggle to merge. I've considered a Jetta, but am I missing anything? Many thanks.
edit: thanks, all! I've got some ideas now.
Just curious if anyone carries this setup and how they like it. Also, any holster recommendations for IWB (not AIWB, Iβm too fat for that lol)?
Edit: Buying a different gun is not in the cards right now. I have a P320 Compact and ordered a subcompact grip (medium with rail).
I have an xdm .45 subcompact 3.8 and Iβm looking for a good leg holster. Something that lasts well but isnβt stupid over priced for its name. I have a good quality belt holster but it doesnβt work well with my plate carrier and the two interfere with each other. Any suggestions?
New to site - Would a 10rd Walther PPQ subcompact mag fit into a 4 inch pistol? Or Does Walther make a smaller PPQ M2?
Mazda cx-3 or hyundai kona?
