Any way to add a strikethrough shortcut?

Is there any way to replace/add a strikethrough shortcut here? Currently whenever I need to use strikethrough I have to open up fonts (cmd+t) and manually select it like this. I mainly need this for the stickies app.

Thanks!

Consider adding shortcuts when hovering over different text styling options

I was thinking about how for it would be nice if I could know what short cut a text styling option had by hovering over it would be earlier while writing a comment.

I thought maybe they could add it right below the description of each option when hovering. On the image below imagine it saying 'Ctrl+B' right underneath where it says BOLD.

I would like to see 'CTRL+B' in the black box somewhere

Some styling options are pretty obvious such as BOLD being Ctrl+B and Italics being Ctrl+I but I struggle to remember a Strikethrough shortcut as I don't use it as often.

It would be nice if we could easily know what each shortcut was with a quick hover of the option.

Wrong company love

Hi all! First time poster so please bear with me!

Edit: thanks for all the upvotes Iโ€™m glad this could give a good giggle to yโ€™all ๐Ÿ™Š (on the app and havenโ€™t learned the shortcuts for formatting bold/strikethrough etc properly yet hence lack of formatting)

This happened quite a while ago but it still gets me.

Backstory/important info: I work for one of the two major supermarkets in Australia. At the time our uniform was this grey/white pinstripe button up shirt. The other major supermarket, at the time, had green polo shirts. Both looked very different. Easily distinguishable. Or so youโ€™d think.

Now for the story. One day after work I headed from where the store I worked for was, to a larger shopping centre as I needed to go to a couple of shops there. Which included our competitor/main rival for something they stock that we donโ€™t.

I had barely been in the store 30 seconds and was walking past the light globes when a woman approaches me. Asking if I could check โ€œif we had any more of this light globe put the backโ€ Now Iโ€™m thinking surely she can see my shirt and the logo and realise Iโ€™m not an employee of the company but the rival. I politely say sorry I donโ€™t work here so I canโ€™t check. And was about to say that sheโ€™d be best to see if there was an employee of the store that was available on the floor or head to the service desk..

But before I could get the last part out Iโ€™m interrupted. โ€œBut I need this globe points to the shelf and thereโ€™s only the other ones canโ€™t you just check?!โ€ Again I apologise and state that I work for this companies rival and that I have no idea and manage to get out that she would be best to head to the service desk and ask for someone from their dry goods/grocery department. This customer then goes โ€œso you canโ€™t help me then?โ€ I reply no as I work for (company A) and that we were in (company b, which as explained, is the rival) she proceeds to roll her eyes, audibly huff, and storm off. It was a bizarre exchange and I then went on my merry way and didnโ€™t see her again while in the store.

My 10(ish) days of non-professional, home iPad-only life

I dropped off my MacBook for a battery replacement, and due to parts shipping and whatnot, I was Mac-less for almost two weeks. I figured I would take that time to see what an iPad-only life would be like.

For context, I have a conventional five-day workweek, and I do not bring work home. Any computing done at home is for entertainment or personal education needs and wants.

I thought a bit about how to organize my thoughts, and in the end, decided to have sections dedicated to different categories of apps and activities. Since I leave my work at home, there is a greater focus on entertainment, which comprises of gaming and media consumption. Another common theme in my impressions will be how I have been able to consume my own offline content. I am not subscribed to anything at the moment, but I do have a standing trial offer for Apple TV+ (which I should probably activate soon).

External hardware

My oft-used accessories with my MacBook:

 • Elecom DEFT Pro trackball (Seven buttons; can be connected via Bluetooth, dongle wireless, micro-USB wired)
 • Western Digital 4TB MyPassport HDD (contains all my media - videos, ebooks, comics, music)
 • 8bitdo SN30Pro+ controller
 • A generic USB 3.0 4-port powered hub
 • HyperDrive GEN2 12-port USB-C hub/dock (detailed specs)

My iPad gear:

 • iPad Air 3rd generation (running iOS 13.6.1)
 • Logitech Combo Touch Keyboard
 • Lighting to USB 3 Camera Adapter
 • Apple Pencil 1st generation

Compatible accessories:

 • Elecom trackball: mostly no. The iPad says it paired successfully with Bluetooth, but there is no mouse movement whatsoever. In wired mode or dongle wireless mode, pointer movement, left/right clicks and four-way wheel manipulation is possible, but no customizations (this model has 7 buttons in total). 5 buttons all register as left click, 1 as right click, and 1 doesnโ€™t even register at all. If youโ€™d like to use a trackball with the iPad, donโ€™t bother looking at models with more than two buttons.
 • WD 4TB: mostly yes. My HDD was already formatted as exFAT to begin with, and I donโ€™t have access to another PC to reformat a spare USB flash disk or SD card as FAT32 or NTFS to check for compatibility. Therefore, it remains to be seen as to whether you can immediately use a hard drive the moment you buy it and open the packaging. Also, it cannot be bus-powered, and requires a powered hub.
 • SN30Pro+: Yes. Because of the multi faced nature o

498 Diagnostic --> 521 Score: Tips for your MCAT journey

Hi everyone,

Let me start by saying that this community was an outstanding resource for content, support and laughs during my studying. I really want to pay it forward and try and help even one person on their MCAT journey. Thank you to each and every one of you โ€“ posters, commenters, lurkers โ€“ this is an amazing community.

In this post I will start with an overview of my study materials, scores and overall schedule for attacking this test. Then I'll go into tips for individual sections, talk about some general tips, as well as tips for test day.

Please feel free to AMA.

Disclaimer: These tips worked for me. I can only tell you what I did and what I would have done differently but there is no guarantee that this will work for you (in fact, itโ€™s likely that it wonโ€™t). Give this a read, read other peopleโ€™s guides, mesh together everything that sounds good and come up with a new strategy that works for you!

TL;DR: You are amazing for deciding to take this beast of a test! You will do great and there are small tips and tricks to help you but nothing replaces studying and hard work. For C/P: memorize units and learn to speak in scientific notation. For CARS: review all your passages and get into the AAMCโ€™s head. For B/B: practice drawing out convoluted pathways from hard passages. For P/S: flashcards are your friend. Good luck :).

Materials

Began studying: January 2020

Tested: June 27th, 6:30 am

- TPR MCAT Course: I began this at the beginning of the year. Let me start by saying I know that these courses get a lot of hate but I personally really benefited from taking it. I needed somebody to set a schedule for me and appreciated having hard deadlines like needing to read a chapter before x date. Also, having access to the teachers as I was learning the info was helpful to me because I could clarify a concept before I began thinking about it the wrong way. Needless to say, these MCAT courses are expensive and are not within the reach of everyone writing. It was difficult for me to swing the money together, but having been able to is a privilege that not everyone shares. Therefore, I also want to say that you do not need a course to succeed on this test! This community and self-studying can get you a 528.

- TPR textbooks: read every chapter of every book for content review (Jan to Apr).

- Miledownโ€™s anki deck (didn't use as much as I should, used mostly for equations, Feb to Apr).

- Jack Westin: did the passage of the day (

The Perfect Bear

As a graphic designer, I can't help but offer my vision of what the visual and functional experience of my favorite app should be. I share many of the requests that have been made on reddit, and I attach a mock-up of what could be the perfect version of Bear.

https://preview.redd.it/at9zdlfozp151.jpg?width=1780&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1b981cf7d6f47536a8b7129678456653db6615e3

1. Title: absolutely to be aligned on the left. Personally, I would not abandon the icons H1, H2, H3 which are visually very distinctive, and they really characterize the appearance of Bear. It make it stand out against the competition just looking at the screenshots on the Apple Store. They contribute to the identity of the app as much as the bear concept and drawings.

2. It would be fantastic to insert a triangle that if clicked would expand or contract the entire section. With a shortcut to contract all the titles it could also solve the problem of the lack of an outliner, which some people require.

3. The famous function to hide the markdown characters should be included, since a good percentage of users are annoyed by them. Nestable styles would also be more readable and less confusing.

4. Completed checklists are visually indistinguishable from the others. The older version works better. Maybe they can be darkened a bit and the strikethrough text can be used again.

5. Very important: Preview of the links! Noto and Notion already do this, and it is very useful to be able to see what's in the link, especially if you are working on images and you are making a moodboard, storyboard or collage of content from the web. For those who do not need it, there may be an option to hide the image preview, in the preferences panel.

6. Tag. It would be great if the tags were not confused in the text, but once typed they positioned themselves in the left corner of the note, visible and editable by clicking on a small icon.

My wishlist is over.
Bear Forever.

Adding Touch ID/Face ID authentication to your shortcuts

Native authentication in Shortcuts has been rather elusive so far. Weโ€™ve seen teasers of it, such as Burritoโ€™s demo videos for his still-unreleased AuthKit, and weโ€™ve known about the hidden PreBoard app for a while now. But the lack of a reliable method for fully native Touch ID in Shortcuts has prevented it from being used much. (Side note: in the context of this post, โ€œTouch IDโ€ will refer to the entire device-level Touch ID/Face ID/passcode authentication system.) Edit: AuthKit has been released at last! https://www.reddit.com/r/shortcuts/comments/hyvsd9/release_authkit_a_library_for_shortcut_creators/

Toolbox Pro got us a step closer to Touch ID with its Authenticate action, which implements the same authentication API that app developers can use to lock their apps with Touch ID. This is a premium tool, though, so itโ€™s still not well suited for use in published shortcuts.

Lately, Iโ€™ve been experimenting with the fully native option for Touch ID. This post will explain how to implement native authentication in your shortcuts without using any third-party tools.

I should mention that for protecting data, this is not the method you need for authentication; rather, use a passcode and a tool like CryptoKit to encrypt and decrypt your data. I will not go into the details of that here, however. Anyone can simply delete the actions for this sort of authentication. So this method provides no real security.

Also: this method does not give you different outputs for successful and unsuccessful authentication. If you authenticate successfully, your shortcut proceeds to the next action. If authentication fails, then you are basically stuck on the authentication screen until you authenticate successfully. If you take too long to authenticate, then iOS memory management kicks in and the shortcut times out.

The basic method

Touch ID in Shortcuts is achieved with the PreBoard system app, which handles user data when the device boots. When PreBoard is launched at an abnormal time, it presents a white screen and a prompt: โ€œPress home to upgradeโ€ (โ€œSwipe to upgradeโ€ on devices with no home button). This is a very indirect way of asking for authentication. When you open PreBoard and authenticate, it shows you the Apple logo (as if you were booting your device) for a second, and then it takes you to the home screen. If a shortcut was running, it continues running.

To use PreBoard in a shortcut, you need to use an Open App action that has been edited as

Label your posts properly, it's common courtesy...

We are more or less three week away from the anime premiere date and I am sure we all are expecting an influx of people joining this community after episode 1 airs. But I have noticed that some of us are not showing proper cortesy when we write posts, so here are some things I feel like we need to change.

First, PLEASE abstain from writing the WHOLE post in the title, as some of these tend to have Spoilers (Listen to Rak, he is literally there telling you to keep the title spoiler free). A title is supposed to catch the attention of the reader but it should not under any circumstances contain spoilers. Also if your post does contain spoilers, label it in the title such as (Spoilers) or [Spoilers], whichever you find more asthetically pleasing that is up to you but please do it.

Second, If you want to comment spoilers under posts, that in no way discuss or seem to discuss up to date Webtoon events please use > ! Spoiler ! < this is the format that hides spoilers of course however, when you use it eliminate the spaces and substitute the word "Spoiler" for whatever you are trying to hide. Here is a link for other shortcuts and tricks for commenting, such as how to Bold or how to Strikethrough etc.

https://www.reddit.com/wiki/commenting

Some newcomers have started to make posts and unless they state that they are not newcomers I feel like we should also abstain from including spoilers in our answers. Some people are not up to date on the webtoon some are still on season 1 or 2, etc. Unless they are ok with being spoiled and they have questions that can't be answered unless we reveal future events we should just encourage them to keep reading, and if they give their ok, then hide those spoilers in case an unsuspecting person stumbles upon the post.

There is nothing worse than being spoiled about a story, it takes the excitement out of plot twists, shocking events and the overall enjoyment of the story. It's more impactful when you discover it on your own. Also like it has been stated before do not comment on your hate for you know who. You will eventually have your chance to get it out of your chest when we get there, at least I hope all of season 1 gets adapted.

Feature request: notes

Hi,

Like many I am new to NMS (thanks, corona!) and I am thoroughly enjoying the galaxies! Thank you HG!!!

Particularly I love discovering planets, finding cool spaceships, wicked guns and freaky anomalies, as well as figuring things out myself (before checking the world wide web), currently I am obsessed with finding a pattern in the system codes (X#yz)

My desk is littered with post-its and I have a 6-tab spreadsheet growing every minute: I need in-game notes!

Features I would love to see (realistic):

 • quick notes: shortcut to make a note on the fly (quickbound) with automatic location tagging (system/planet/coordinates).
 • tagging notes: put a note on any object (inventory or in-game), NPC, installed technologies, space stations, planets, systems, cabinets etc. I imagine with technical and practical limitations, this would be only for stationary objects (so no flying ships or animals)
 • tick-off notes: notes for making lists that you can mark as done or strikethrough, for keeping track of your personal goals and milestones.
 • spreadsheet notes: simple colums and rows for more data collection.
 • custom filters: add custom keywords, colours or codes to notes for quick filtering and/or a folder system.

Dream features:

 • Screenshots, videos or gifs: kept in the same "tab" as notes, with the ability to add text and share in-game with players. Like sending postcards "greetings from Bulludangr!"
 • Shared notes: create shared notes or folders to organise and streamline community research or data gathering.
 • export notes: to .txt, .png, .pdf or .gif. etc.

Tl;Dr= Notes, notes, notes.

Ps: please excuse me if this somehow already exists, has been asked a lot before or is already in the works.

Safe travels, explorers!

DX11 update bug tracking thread - one month later.

Hello dear Planetmans!

It's been (over) month since DX11 hit our game and corresponding thread I've made with huge help of you guys and girls!

This time I'd like to continue with reposted list of bugs, because some of you may have found more of undocumented features that require developer attention. My plea for you Planetmans is simple - leave a comment with description of a bug you do not see on reposted list, or write what from the list has been fixed already. If you posted already and need to add new bug - do it as new comment as I do not see edits to existing ones in my inbox.

Update 0.5.6 BETA (Unstable)

Hey everyone, we've got a new update! As a reminder, you MUST use your key from foundryvtt.com (or the key you received in email from Patreon if you are a backer) to unlock this update. It is NOT considered a stable update and may require additional setps to install (see below in huge text). It also may contain breaking changes, meaning content you have previously made may need some adjustment after you install this, and most modules will NOT work with this version until the respective module authors update their code. If you understand this and want to take the risk, read on. If you don't, you are advised to wait for v0.5.7 (a stable build) or final release!

From Atropos:

Hi everyone I'm thrilled to release Foundry Virtual Tabletop Beta 0.5.6, a major update which is an "unstable" Alpha release for Council-tier Patreon supporters and Foundry license owners.

Overview of Changes

This update includes a ton of major new features including a major overhaul of the File Browser with new display modes, drag-and-drop Tile placement, Folder creation, and path visibility controls. This update also includes substantial updates to the Tiles system as well as other Placeable Objects through a major refactoring of the drag-and-drop interaction workflows which unify their UX. Lastly, there are a lot of important and valuable API improvements which will make it easier to work with certain core concepts in the Foundry environment.

I'm experimenting with a new routine of hosting a Developer Q&A on Twitch to review and showcase the new features each update. Thanks to everyone who joined me for the first installment, you can find the broadcast here if you'd like to see these changes in action. https://www.twitch.tv/videos/616481546

About this Update

Please read the following important reminder about this update.

Many of you have arrived recently to the Foundry community you will not yet be familiar with the version structure of software updates. This is an Alpha channel build, meaning it includes lots of new and exciting features, but also has a higher risk of instability as well as a high likelihood of module conflicts.

This update is intended to be safe for use in actual games, but as always back up your critical user data before updating in case, for any reason, you need to roll back. If you prefer to use a large number of modul

LPT: Press Shift + F3 in Microsoft Word to change which letters are capitalized

Ever have to copy and paste something into Word, but it's in all capital letters? Highlight the words you want to change, then hit shift+F3. It will cycle between all caps, no caps, or only first letter caps. Has saved me on more than one occasion.

Swipe for Facebook 8.1.0 Full Changelog - Android 10, Native Light/Dark Theme, New In-App Icons, Refreshed More Tab, Improved Bookmarks, and more!

Hey guys! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Alright, so I've finally just pushed out Swipe 8.1.0, and it should be available on the Play Store in a few hours now. As of today, Swipe is the first Facebook app to support Android 10 (even before Facebook themselves). ๐Ÿ˜‚

This is the first minor feature update since the release of Swipe 8.0, and I'm so happy to introduce all the new features, but at the same time am a little disappointed in myself I couldn't get more done in the last few weeks. Sometimes, I put a rough deadline on new features, but unexpectedly run into issues while coding, so things can take time than I initially anticipated, delaying the development process.

With me promising 8.1.0 for the end of August, this update is long overdue, so I'm sorry I couldn't get more done. I would have worked at least another week on this update, but sadly, due to the latest bug with unread notifications, a few things needed to be scrapped to ensure an update was pushed out in a timely manner to fix it, so people don't have a bad experience with the app.

Anyway, before I get into the things that have been delayed for the next minor feature update, here's what's new in 8.1.0:

๐Ÿ“ฑ ANDROID 10 SUPPORT

 • Added support for Android 10 System Theming. To enable this, turn on Automatic Day/Night Theming and select Follow System Theme.
 • How To Enable System Theming (Screenshot)
 • Updated in-app dependencies to the latest Android 10 APIs and AndroidX.

๐ŸŽจ UI & DESIGN

 • Due to this one guy suggesting Swipe's icons were outdated, I went ahead redesigned them. Fresh new icons for the main tabs, as well as everywhere in the app for a nicer, more modern look more aligned with Material Design 2.
 • New Icons (Screenshot)
 • Added even more preset colors to App/Night Themes and Widget Theme.
 • More Preset Colors (Screenshot)

โœ‰๏ธ NOTIFICATIONS

 • Fixed notifications showing Unread in the notification text.

๐Ÿ–ผ๏ธ PHOTOS/VIDEO UPLOAD

 • Up to 10 photos can now be attached when creating a post.
 • 10 Photos Attachment (Screenshot)
 • Sharing photos from your gallery into Swipe will also now allow up to 10 photos.
 • Fixed bug with uploading photos and videos where it would say "Post Successful" but the photos/video were not actually posted.

๐Ÿ“™ REFRESHED MORE TAB

 • Newly Refreshed More Tab with a more cohesive look aligned wi

Contemplating Move to TickTick

Hi fellow productivity moguls, I needed your advice on something.

Lately, I've been thinking about moving to TickTick or other Task Management apps. I've been using Todoist for about 4 months now, and while I love how I can create projects for all my classes & goals(I'm in college), use Natural Language & Shortcuts and widgets to quickly enter tasks, have a visual of all the ToDos I have, it's not really simplified my life and instead it has become another tool I need to regularly update and spend time on. I use Gcal for managing my events and classes, all my exams time and locations, classes data, appointments & meetings are on it and I add my tasks from ToDoist on it so I can visually see where my time is going and plan my day around events in the morning itself. I end up wasting a lot of time doing this, and having separate applications is kinda annoying. I also use Vitamin-R, Forest for Pomodoro(really useful for me, I have mild ADD), and a Habit Tracker. All these applications really complicate my life and often I feel overwhelmed with so many signals around me.

A perfect application for me would have the ease and speed of using ToDoist - shortcuts, android widgets, NLP, good ordering and sorting functionality. While also having the ability to TimeBox my tasks by adding a time-frame to my tasks instead of just a due date(hate we can't do this on ToDoist). A perfect time management and planning routine for me would look like - picking tasks and dragging and dropping them around the events on my calendar and having the ability to add tasks quickly. I've heard TickTick comes with an inbuilt calendar and also has features like Pomodoro and Habit tracking.

Also, I would really like having the option to see the completed tasks as Strikethroughs instead of disappearing(for the feel-good factor)

tldr: The only reason I haven't made the switch yet is that I really like the support Todoist has, I'm kinda loyal to the application and have about 6 months left in my plan. I also really love the look and feel of ToDoist but certain features (like the inablity to timebox, lack of good gcal sync/ inbuilt calendar, and strikethroughs) really turn me off. Does anyone have any suggestions which applications would be a good match for me? I am a chronic procrastinator and these apps prevent me from falling into a slump.

Edit : https://youtu.be/slPUc2a3WYI what are y'alls thoughts on this. I see a lot of people here also on the fence between Tic

LINK to change CA party preference (PRIMARY ELECTION)

I heard the news about Bernie gaining lead in CA, tentative congrats! I am a Libertarian and Bernie is the best candidate to beat Trump and I support his visions. Libertarian cannot vote for Democrats in Primary election, but I have been thinking about it for a while. The news inspired me to change my party immediately and for those who has been thinking for a while, it takes 5 minutes to change the history. REGISTER HERE. I am now a part of No Party Preference that is allowed to vote for American Independent, Democrat, and Libertarian candidates (source). I went back to change once again, this time to Democrat party to avoid any potential loophole I may face (foolproof as u/Velcrometer said). I hope this shortcut will allow you to get the ball moving and push Bernie further ahead of other candidates.

EDIT: strikethrough one sentence and made a new one after that following through u/Velcrometer's suggestion, thank you.

Markdown task lists, tables, diagrams, videos, audio, codeblocks, TOC, admonitions by adding 2 lines to your shortcut. Also Latex & Mathjax.

I use this in a few shortcuts that I've posted on Routinehub but not really posted anything on Reddit about it.

Built in Markdown in Shortcuts doesn't do very much, but by using Markdeep, you can do all sorts of things, task lists, tables, diagrams, latex, mathjax, videos, audio, codeblocks, TOC, admonitions(kind of a little alert box) a lot more than the built Shortcuts Markdown. Most of its pretty standard Markdown, but for example code blocks are a bit different, so make sure you read the main page. If your looking for something a bit less feature full, you could also look at Strapdown

Check here for a feature demo of Markdeep https://casual-effects.com/markdeep/features.md.html

Markdeep was created by Morgan McGuire at Casual Effects with inspiration from John Gruber's Markdown and Donald Knuth's and Leslie Lamport's LaTeX.

Heres a little demo with only a few of the features in an iOS 13 Shortcut (quick look seems to have problems with js sometimes on 13, so use Show Web Page after renaming to a .html file) https://www.icloud.com/shortcuts/374ed4e153944a43a9bffc80d4f92574

You just wrap your Markdown in two lines

<meta charset="utf-8" lang="en"><style class="fallback">body{visibility:hidden;}</style>

# Your Markdown

<!-- Markdeep: --><script src="markdeep.min.js"></script>

Or for a sans-serif style use the APIDOC style.

<meta charset="utf-8" emacsmode="-*- markdown -*-"><link rel="stylesheet" href="https://casual-effects.com/markdeep/latest/apidoc.css?">

#Your Markdown

<!-- Markdeep: --><script src="https://casual-effects.com/markdeep/latest/markdeep.min.js?" charset="utf-8"></script>

I'd also recommend adding a viewport to it to improve viewing on phones.

<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1">
<meta charset="utf-8" emacsmode="-*- markdown -*-"><link rel="stylesheet" href="https://casual-effects.com/markdeep/latest/apidoc.css?">

How to retain formatting of a word when changing formatting before hitting a space after the word ???

Hi, so I'm looking for help on an annoying Word issue.

I use a lot of different formatting when typing in my profession. So I may want to bold and underline one word, then bold and strikethrough the next. I have keyboard shortcuts for all these moves. However...

So let's say I want to type a bold and underlined word. So I hit ctrl-B, then ctrl-U, then type the word. Now, I want to turn off this formatting at the end of the word, so before I hit space, I hit ctrl-B and then ctrl-U. But this deletes the formatting (bold and underlined) that I applied to the word. Instead, I have to hit space after typing the word, then hit ctrl-B and then ctrl-U. But that ends up formatting the space.

I once had Word set up by a pro where it acted the way I wanted it too (you could turn off formatting at the end of the word and it wouldn't delete the formatting from the word), instead of as described above. But I can't find the setting to change this.

Does anyone know how to adjust this? Thanks for any help!

All Actions in the Shortcuts App - Redditors Use Just 30 of More Than 300

This is a reference list of all actions currently packaged with Shortcuts. This does not include actions available only as Siri Suggestions or actions supported by non-featured apps.

In bold are popularly used actions. They account for 80% of all actions used in shortcuts published to this subreddit based on a set of 417 actions from a random sample of 26 shortcuts.

The actions in this list can be found by tapping once in the search field in Shortcuts and navigating through the "Content Types" menus and the special "Scripting" menu. I've mostly reproduced that organization in the list below. However, for some actions such as "Get Details of App Store App" that have several interesting and non-obvious options, I've listed their options out as if they were separate actions.

Two of the actions in the list don't appear in the "Content Types" menus. They can only be found by entering text into the search field, and are marked with a strikethrough. They are "Get Object of Class" -- apparently a means of getting an Apple API class type which has no known practical use -- and "Get File of Type," which seems to be a method for forcing input to a particular file type; something that's rarely necessary and can be accomplished via other actions.

The Android app really needs more attention and QA testing.

Several features just don't work properly:

 • There's no confirmation to delete/pin messages. Meaning, if you're a mod, it so very easy to accidentally delete/pin messages belonging to anyone. Even if you're not a mod, you can accidentally delete your own messages. Various other actions happen without asking for a confirmation as well.

 • Shortcut commands such as "/spoiler" or "/shrug" don't work at all.

 • Certain formatting doesn't display correctly if there's a space between the final character and the symbol the special character. "~~Strikethrough~~" works as normal. ~~Strikethrough ~~ does not. (This also happens for italics using an asterisk but this one also occurs on Desktop/Web/iOS. "_Italic _" works, but "*Italic *" does not.)

 • Sometimes images/gifs just fail to load altogether and I need to open the Desktop app to actually see what they are.

 • One of the latest updates has created a very specific issue where if anyone uploads a gif, the app slows to a crawl entirely and lags for as long as the gif is in view. Scrolling away from it or changing channels fixes the issue, but the rate at which it lags takes a fair amount of time to get it out of focus.

 • This one is fixed now, but when Discord first added the ability create game invites for game matchmaking, if someone posted a game invite, the entire channel just would not load any messages on the app until the invite was deleted.

These are just some of the ones I've encountered, but it's very likely there are more. At first, I was waiting until Discord would address these but after several weeks/months, it is increasingly clear that they will not be addressed. Some of these are extremely major, such as commands and a prompt to pin/delete/etc, that it would be noticed within a few hours of general use. The fact that those issues still persist feels like no one working at Discord ever uses an Android device. The Android app is not in an acceptable state when compared to Web/Desktop/iOS and Discord desperately needs to improve it.

Beta 22 released

MAJOR IMPROVEMENTS

 • Compact cards (aka "List" style). This can be enabled from Settings > Post Layout > Post Style. Choose "List". (This still isn't perfect, but so many keep asking about this layout, so here you go! Tweaks to come. Icons to come! Also this doesn't work for "mixed" lists, i.e. in Profile. Cards are still used in Posts as the Compact layout makes no sense there.)
 • Added support for Streamable videos.
 • Added support for Reddit-hosted videos.
 • Added support for Instagram-hosted images. (I'm sure most of you will use this.)
 • When switching theme and post layout you no longer have to reload the subreddit/post to see the changes.
 • Your account and subreddits are now refreshed on launch (as well as user switch).
 • Rotating your device in a Post no longer expands all collapsed comments.
 • Deep links to specific comments now work properly, complete with highlights. Try this out in /r/bestof.
 • The video scrubber is about 10,000% times more accurate and usable.
 • Links now show their destination (using a best-guess truncated domain). This can be turned off in Settings > Content > General > Show link source.

MINOR IMPROVEMENTS

 • The "NSFW" text no longer spans the entire text on iOS 11.
 • Removed/disabled the "Reply" button for locked posts.
 • Strikethroughs now render correctly. Isn't that nice?
 • Fixed an issue where the image in Subreddit was lost after opening the post.
 • Reloading the subreddit now actually reloads it.
 • Lowered the long-press duration for Comment collapse/action from 0.5 to 0.3 seconds. Ahhhh.
 • Fixed a crash when unsubscribing an unsubscribable subreddit (like /r/all, /r/popular, etc.). You should no longer be able to unsubscribe from these in the Subreddit list.
 • Trying to delete an already empty cache no longer crashes the app.
 • Subreddit sorting works again.
 • The composer text size was very small and did not follow the selected theme's font size.
 • Some poorly encoded URLs were not handled gracefully. An attempt to recover the encoding of these is now done. (You should not notice any difference other than for these URLs they now work better.)
 • "[Score hidden]" now has the correct colour in the Dark theme.
 • Generated thumbnails should generally take up less space. (Most are now saved as JPEG instead of PNG.)
 • Using a 3D Touch app shortcut now takes you to the correct tab, if not already on the correct tab.
 • Fixed an occasional crash when generating thumbnails.
 • Some poorly formatte
