You fire up OBS, change your stream title and game you're playing, click start streaming, an you're excited to start the stream. You copy your Twitch channel link and you're ready to tweet out to your followers or post on Facebook that you are live on Twitch! One small problem...
When you paste the link on Twitter or Facebook, the title of your stream is incorrect in the link! It was the title from last week or the other day. The title isn't updated. So how do you fix it?
Well, the answer is actually quite simple: you need to run the link through Twitter's Card Validator or Facebook's Sharing Debugger. Doing so will refresh the link and update it so that when you share the link, whether it be on Facebook or Twitter, the title will be up to date!
Here are the two sites to use (From Twitter and Facebook themselves):
Personally I've bookmarked the Twitter valid... keep reading on reddit ➡
Everything written here is based on my own personal preference and style. To say that there is one way to grow your Twitch channel would be incorrect. My background is in digital marketing and conversion rate optimization. I’m not a full-time Twitch streamer. I’ve watched different streamers of all shapes and sizes critically for a while now and I’ve also noticed things that have clearly worked particularly well for me and my own channel growth thus far.
I wrote a 6-part series on Twitch channel growth called "A Growth Hacker’s Guide to Growing Your Twitch Channel In 2018" and I think part 4 is relevant (especially around your channel's metadata)!
Let's get into it!
Think of your Twitch Channel like a physical store. Things like your stream title and thumbnail are your display window to generate interest from each passerby.
The first thing is getting people to come in. Once they are in, everything from the look of your stream, panels, bio, schedule, and the stor... keep reading on reddit ➡
Here are the results from the survey I posted the other day. If you're a smaller streamer hopefully these results will help you with your next stream. Learning what an audience would like is really helpful.
I hope this helps.
I’ve seen a lot of posts on here over the past couple of days from newer streamers asking for tips to help their streams attract more attention (not sure if these types of posts are normal, I’m newer to reddit). One response I keep seeing over and over again is to use the stream title to your advantage to pull people in.
I wanted to see from experienced streamers what kind of things do you think about when making your stream titles?
Recently all I see in my youtube recommendations are videos title stuff like "So I tricked my minecraft stream..." or "So I decided to make my minecraft stream anxious..." and I really hate it. Im so sick of the whole title format. Putting So I did this blah blah blah in the title isnt funny nor is it original and im getting really sick of it.
I am basically just frustrated, I know this has been posted multiple times but I just wanted to blow off some steam cause I got my 3rd airhead title tonight and if things keep going this way I am gonna have 10+ before RLCS lan.
>!I watched Gladd go through the 30 symbol puzzle solution to the Corridors of Time. IIRC, he was referred to as Hero of the Red War and something else. When I did it (on XBox, having played D1), I got Crota's End, Hivesbane, Young Wolf, and I think King's Slayer or something. Kind of neat, that they bothered to have Saint-14 name your accomplishments in Destiny 1 and 2.>!

So a few months ago I purchased a Samsung Galaxy Tab 6. One title (Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring) shows as “downloaded”. However it is nowhere on my tablet. I likewise cannot stream it. I get the error “Content file does not exist. Please make sure SD card is inserted”
I have tried changing the storage location from SD card to internal shutting down the program and reloading to see if that helps. I have completely removed the application restarted and reinstalled to no avail. I have even tried a separate SD card just in case I used a different card before I received the one that is in the tablet. Nothing works.
I have tried reaching out to VUDU support. They agree it shouldn’t be happening and my case was escalated to a higher level. That was two months ago. Since then any and all attempts to contact support has been met with silence. I really do not know what else to do other than ask here if anyone has had this issue and found a remedy.
Any help or... keep reading on reddit ➡
Les Films du 3 Mars is a Québec non-profit organization who distributes art films nationally and internationally. They're specialized in documentary but also have some shorts and a few feature length fiction films.
To watch go down the page and choose a title, then click "Watch English (or French) version [Rent]". You'll be directly directed to the film and won't have to pay anything. Full instructions here: even films priced at $2 or $5 are actually free
Some of their titles are not available for streaming yet.
Taking second is Lifeline “talking on the landline for lifeline” at 11 hours 59 minutes and 23 seconds.
And in third place is The Simpsons hit and run at 11 hours 39 minutes and 9 seconds titled “Doh”.
Bonus fact: jerma streamed the ps2 games longer than if you binged the lord of the rings extended trilogy, 11 hours 32 minutes.
Jerma go to bed.
Having an issue where if I stream on YT, I have to hurry up and edit the video after going live through OBS. OBS says I have to title my stream through YT ahead of time. I just want to be able to have a prearranged title for my stream before I go live. Anyone know how to do that?
Saw Eric Rosen (covering his own games) & Agadmator (going over the final Magnus/Alireza game), but haven’t found a stream that followed Magnus all the way through. Anybody have one?
I would love some suggestions for content you'd love to see /get feedback/ gauge interest in participating. No promises that any of the ideas will get approved but I did use to host esports tournaments professionally and work at Esports Arena. You'd be surprised at how many people I know in the industry that are Yang Gang!
If none of my ideas get approved or if you're interested I'll post and release the pitch deck upon request. It should be done by Saturday! Hopefully if some you yang gang are influencers or have the means to fund or host one yourselves you can do that!
I'm currently working on the Bring the Wave project and would love to help fund us activating canvassers in even more states! :)
Some of my past esports and rave events are documented here (would also love to put on a rave festival / benefit concert lol) https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=1jlbu0VSOax4ND5lf5vtIyAX5kd7C4Wha

It's very frustrating since Twitch doesn't support tags very good for PoE so I can't filter for example "Scion" or "Molten Strike". And if you don't have the skill I'm interested in watching in your stream title I can't even "Ctrl + F" search it either.
Hi everybody, this movie I believe was on Netflix. I can't remember for sure. I remember the title was very long. I think it was about another country's superstition or Legend. All I remember is how surreal it was and slow-paced. It seemed like the cinematography was very good. And from what I what I saw it took place in the jungle. There were weird dark people with glowing eyes. Like half human half monster things. I think it might be Indian or Asian. I think there may have been a scene in a lagoon with a waterfall. I just distinctly remember seeing a dark figure in the jungle with slightly shiny eyes. Maybe some kind of werewolf vibes but I don't believe it was a wolf person , more like a hairy person. Things to anybody that sees this and tries! I've been searching a lot and come up with nothing.
It's pretty damn catchy, I'd pay for the song if it were available anywhere.
Yes he is in fact blind, you will notice he announces this in his stream titles: 'blind playthrough'. He is such a god gamer that he is able to sense obstacles in game through the sound of his headset. It's actually quite impressive, a visually impaired hobo is able to beat videogames and entertain a bunch of yokels while doing it.
Should the title of my stream be something I worry about when trying attract new viewers? (Sorry if the questions been asked I’m new to streaming)
I very much enjoyed watching you do the thing that you did. I was very interested. Thank you.
What could that mean? Megular Meason?
Here's a link to its rym page: https://rateyourmusic.com/release/ep/tool/tool/
Welp, it’s that time of month. Tomorrow is the monthly community stream, and I’d like to see what you guys predict to be announced!
I'm planning to play these movies with my co worker (not Indonesian but love Indonesian horror movies). But, I forgot the title for both of them.
The first movie is not horror. It's like a parody of horror movies in Indonesia. I remember there was a moment where the kuntilanak that chasing the protagonist had her clothes stuck between the trees. There was also a moment where they summoned some kuntilanaks and the kuntilanaks arrived with various colour palate.
The second one is about some group of kids that camped and played jelangkung ( I think just one of them) in a graveyard in an unknown village. As usual nothing happened at first. But the haunting starts and they went back to the village to send the ghost back home. One of the protagonist always bring a camera, so the perceptive will switch from first person documentaries like Blair witch to third person like normal movies. The ghost is a bit unique at that time because it makes the character kill each other and the last one s... keep reading on reddit ➡
