Been using a website called Stocktwits, which is like a twitter for any stock. Only been using it for about 2 weeks already.
Tons of crazy mofos just spreading disinformation and trying to be pessimistic(Bearish) all the damn time. So annoying and I just want to know if anyone else thinks this site is super toxic and unreliable for any information or news.
Randomly decided to get the app last month. I found myself getting immersed on stock threads that I was invested in and having fun. Then one after another, i start seeing people shouting out other tickers that were gaining momentum, leading me to investing in several pump n dumps like SLS, BCDA, RHE...etc and have lost a shit ton of money since. I kept falling into the trap of the dumbasses on the threads saying “100 PM tomorrow, Bullish” and felt confident with my buys then the stock dumps then every1 is crying together on the thread. Now im seeing companies like GEVO, AQMS, OEG...etc going parabolic. I had positions in both GEVO and OEG a while back but sold due to impatience. If i just held my long stocks and stopped trying to chase these hype pump n dumps, id be blessed rn.
Im coming back to pennystocks and investing in companies thoroughly analyzed by you yutes.

I've never seen anyone do this the moment they do so it was interesting to see and helped me get in early.

As of late I have been going on Stocktwits and checking the current consensus of tickers I’m in on. Do you find it helpful for short term trades? I see lots of people saying to keep holding and encouraging others to invest more, even when it doesn’t look advisable. Just wondering if I should steer clear or use as another tool for my DD. Almost 100% winning trades. Amounting to around 25 trades. I can provide all screenshots
Use WSB as a baseline to pick the stock
If WSB is trending the stock- make note of it. $PLTR, $NIO $XPEV $LI $CAAC $LGVW $AMCI the list goes on and on. And here’s how I keep making money. This can’t fail
- If WSB is talking about it. Good. Baseline stock
- If stocktwits starts trending it. Buy 10 shares.
- THE MOMENT IT TRENDS BUY THEM.
- stock needs to be less than $10 and also up more than 50% on its current price
- If the amount of people watching it on stocktwits goes up, while sentiment and Msg Volume also begin to swing wildly, buy 10 more shares.
- when to sell: Place External hours orders before I go to bed so it gets filled at pre-market open and boom. Wake up to mini-tindies
I’ve done this 6 trading days in a row. Tomorrow will be 7.

But I was looking in a few SPACs that are frequently mentioned online here and on stocktwits. What they all have in common: they are often mentioned as warrant plays AND their underwriters are I-Bankers (http://www.i-bankers.net/completed-transactions.php)
Now here´s my question: Could it be that I-Bankers is actively pumping their SPACs online to get retail to buy into their SPAC warrants?
Now I did not look up the older ones they mention on their website but their recent ones get plenty of mentions and positive vibes on here. See for yourself:

Some of them are doing great (e.g. IPV, NPA) while TOTA (CLNN) seems to be a dud. Most of them are still searching or just rumours.
Just interested in your thoughts as I am already pretty good invested in one of them and am considering 2-3 others for warrants right now.

It's a bunch of nonsense 90% of the time but, I can't lie, it's quite entertaining. Regardless, I try to use it as little as possible and listen to NOTHING the IDIOTS on there say in regards to PTs or Bullish vs Bearish sentiment.
Today I started trading BCDA and that board is FILLED with morons everywhere you look.
So, I started a new trend.
Whenever you see someone post "What do you think the price will be if they get PR tomorrow?" or "This thing is going to $90 *Spaceship Emoji*", just hit them with a #stocktwits in the comment and your favorite meme or GIF. I like the one of Obama looking around confused....really hammers home the point.
I really feel terrible for the people listening to the advice of people on that app and think we need to bring attention to the posts that are BS. People are losing money because of pumping or dumping posts. Sure, they should know better, but that's easier said than done as a new trader.

I have already benefited a lot, in fact as my work takes most of the time during the trading day, I rely heavily on some people that I can trust their analysis work is better than mine if I do it. And most of their suggestions really pay off, what do you guys think? Talking about some people with good reputation not the scammy ones.
Finally, a message board has been allowed on ST. Hope its better than Yahoo and some others.

Amazing how lit up that board is... Never even knew that app even existed. Between this reddit page, yahoo and stocktwits there's massive interest and conversation. Many eyes are on this.
Also just wanted to mention how wicked this group is and congrats to all the longs. I just got in last week and don't think I've ever been this excited over an equitity ever.
