Just thought I'd share since I find it pretty hilarious. The first question I got in the screening before you get your credit report is "Using your date of birth, select your zodiac sign from the following choices" and then it listed some star signs. How the hell could this accomplish anything more than asking my birth month?
Whenever I hear anyone ask "what's your star-sign I throw up in my mouth and feel like ending it.
The worst part is when they attribute behaviours and personality traits to people based off it.
I also hate those social media stories that are like 'when your a ......' followed by pictures of terrible or mundane behaviours masked behind an assinine mask of quirky and edgyness that is supposedly due to being born on nobody fucking cares day.
Someone had to do it!

Yesterday i was walking from the night club to home, i had to walk 1 hour to reach home.
while walking i was looking at the amazing view of the stars(I'm obsessed with the moon and the stars), so you know while walking alone at 2 am, the thoughts will start getting loud.
being a long time agnostic-atheist person, i just had the urge to say "hey god, if you're there, show me a shooting star, you know it's better for me to be a believer ", i honestly said that in a sarcastic way and didn't really wait for a shooting star.
15 minutes later, it happened, i know 90% or more of people here won't believe me, i wish i had a way to prove it. but it happened. a fast shooting star appeared passing the black sky horizontaly, it remained visible for like 5 seconds, i wasn't imagining it. i fucking saw it, i couldn't believe it that i immediately sat on the ground immediately in the middle of road.
I'm still shocked, I'm not really considering to be religious right after that because i have thousands of questions in my head....
just wanted to share this with you guys. if you took your time to read this, thank you!

NOTE: If you like or believe in star signs then that's fine. I'm not going to tell you to stop believing or change your ways. I respect your beliefs.
My unpopular opinion is that star sign traits are absolutely horrible. If someone was to ask me what star sign I am I will tell them. I really don't care that much. I draw the line with the traits.
I have had so many times when people tell me that they don't like my star sign and wouldn't be friends with people like me all because of the traits associated with my sign.
I'm normally a very shy and quiet person but the traits associated with my sign say that I am stubborn and seen as a 'dark horse'. People treat me different because of that. It's so childish to treat someone horribly and ignore people because of their star sign.
I understand that not all people do this and I respect people for that. I understand people who want to know their star sign for the sake of knowing but having specific traits linked to a star that you are born under is childish and there are people who use it to hurt others and so I hate star sign traits.
I I dont know how all of a sudden, every single girl on the west coast is super into star signs, and everyone else just goes right along with it. Being a Mormon makes way more sense to me than believing in star signs. If you call yourself a Scientologist in public people look at you sideways but asking what your star sign is an opener at a bar.
I know i sound like a conservative boomer but im an agnostic in mid twenties, I believe in believing whatever makes you sleep at night dont get me wrong, but I feel like all of california laughs at the midwest for their supposed dumb beliefs yet Star signs are a norm.
