So this happend when I was 14 so if I sound stupid I was just a dumb teenager.
I was out shopping with my friends, buying new earrings, headbands, clothes and all that. I don't wear dresses but I do like jewellery so I wouldn't consider myself very "gIrLy" (P.S I don't believe clothes have genders, just saying that for those who believe clothing does have genders). So I was wearing a a flannel shirt with jeans and runners with a nice black headband and silver earrings (the only reason I remember was because I have a picture of it) and my friends all worse dresses and skirts. We kept walking from shop to shop, getting some hot chocolate when suddenly we see an angry man going towards us. Now we expected the worst and thought he might grab us because you know that it was common at the time for girls to be kidnapped.. that was reality unfortunately and it barley changed.. so we ran away quickly but he kept following us until we went into a shop and told an employee. He walked away when the employee tried approaching him. We walked around when he ended up catching up to us and asked where we got those clothes and where he could buy them. We quietly whispered the shops name and he asked us to show him the shop so his daughter could pick them out.
We said no and tried to walk away but he stopped us. Demanding we show him where it is and wouldn't let us leave. Tried grabbing my friends arm and tried dragging her out of the shop. My friend ended up screaming her head off in such a high pitched voice that everyone is the shop was looking at us. I screamed "GET AWAY YOU [email protected]"*-!/- CREEP" then he ran away in fear he would get detained by the employees along with his poor 6 year old daughter.
That why I get defensive when random dudes come near me and ask me to show them to somewhere. They might be innocent but I lost trust in many strangers after that. It horrors me to this day thinking the worst of what could've happend if we went with him.
So that's the story.. Not a very nice ending but yeah.. also to anyone who is a teen, kid or adult, male or female or any gender out there. DO NOT and I repeat DO. NOT. Go ANYWHERE with a stranger. Doesn't matter where you are, in a private area or public. It's unfortunate what can happen if you do.
This happened just a few hours ago, so today they released the banjo & kazooie amiibo along with terry bogard and one of the many anime sword fighters from Super Smash Bros Ultimate, i reserved all three, and payed em in full , and like the crazy a**holes scalpers are they buy out as many as they can online just the banjo & kazooie one , i feel sorry for fans trying to buy this figure for nostalgia only to have to got to Ebay n pay triple price or head to one the retails hoping to find one
I was standing out of gamestop waiting to open with people who also reserved the amiibos and games , about 15 of us waiting in line , when we notice this heavy set woman waddle towards us , she looked like a karen but didn’t have the make up
The guy in front of me said that she was at walmart this morning with a basket full of amiibos , and was rude n told everyone to get out of her was as she waddled away with her crying kids
She wasn’t wearing a masked n walked up very close and asked what they we’re doing , she smelled very disgusting like sewage and everyone backed away, then the store opened and squeezed in “ yes she was that fat “ and closed the door n locked it, the employee didn’t notice then she shouted that’ she’ll buy there entire stock of amiibos but only the bear n bird one, the employee shook her head as we knocked on the door, noticed what she had done and runs over to unlock the door as she turned this woman had gotten behind the checkout and had scooped all the banjo & kazooie
Amiibos in a bag and was thanking her and making her way out, by this time the manager came out telling her to stop, and to return what she took,
She turned and said “ i bought these have good day “ and was stopped by two off duty cops who were in the line for the new monster hunter game,
Cop1: ma’am you need to put the bag down and leave
Scalper: no i just bought these, now get out of my way
Cop2: ma’am “ flashes police badge “ you do know that the CCTV camera recorded you stealing them
Scalper: no i left money on the counter, now get out of my way
Cop1: ma’am we’ll be calling a patrol car to come pick you up for stealing, and -
Scalper: fk you i bought these fair n squate get the Fk out of my way
The manager came up and grabbed the bag from her hand and she let out the entitled karen
Battle cry of being denied or told no to , as the cops grabbed her and marched her out of the store She was red in the face as she screamed they we’re hers and th

I learned recently that I should not be eating uncooked mushrooms because they are poisonous and can cause stomach aches ☠️
We have always used the whole mushroom and never bothered to strip them of their outer skin or discard their stalks. We add them at the very last minute to our dishes when cooking so that we can retain their texture as much as possible.
Now I'm wondering if we've been practicing poor mushroom etiquette this entire time.
Edit: Thank you to everyone who has answered this question. I really appreciate knowing that the button mushrooms we eat are okay for raw consumption and that there's no specific reason to not use their stalks/eat the mushroom whole. :)
Also, to clarify, we're vegetarian and avoid meaty textures whenever possible. We add fresh mushrooms at the very end of our cooking so as to heat them through but retain as much of the original uncooked texture as possible.
All old mushrooms go into pureed soup after cooking them down for eons. :)
Edit 2: I've removed the comparison to herbs from my original write up. It wasn't a proper comparison and has led to several nasty DMs.
I am a high school student who was involved in a fight with another student. The other student has a Facebook account and I was able to find out that they are very likely under age to purchase alcohol. The original fight was because they were having a debate on if the war on drugs should be legal or not.
I was involved in a debate about this with them and the other student used one of my friends as a screen name and sent her a message with the other student's name. This person has not been involved in the fight and is not under age.
The fight happened in my school, I am the one that had the fight with the other student and I am not in school anymore. My school is not going to do anything about this and I don't know what to do. If it is illegal to do this, can I also be charged with a crime for this?
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
