I have no idea why I didn't do this in the past. They're so delicious, better than pumpkin seeds imo. It's a cheap, easy, healthy snack from something you would normally throw away.
A civil war has erupted in the ruins of the city. Cultists, men, and alien alike are struggling to gain control of the planet. The aliens are oblivious to the fact that the cultists refer to them that they are messengers of God, and are hostile to them anyways. And now they are stuck in a bloody war of survival.
Now, having had the two power cells, the craft in the homeless centre is ready to be powered up and repaired.
Outside, many distant sounds of gunfire and explosions can be heard, along with the occasional roar and whirr of the quirky alien spacecrafts.
It appears that Oliver left a blueprint and diagrams of the spacecraft, detailing where and how to install the power cells. There seems to be hope in rescuing him after all.
Objective: Power up the ship, infiltrate the alien mothership and rescue Oliver.
Personally I like a bit of Aldi summer fruits squash as a treat as it tastes a bit fancy. Robinsons black currant squash leaves a funny feel in my mouth. Orange squash is a good cupboard staple for everyday drinking - but Aldi ones can have little orange bits in.
Whatβs your favourite squash?
A few weeks pass ever since the invasion, the city is a wasteland and nature has partly claimed it, and from the mass grave of the city, a cult emerges, which believes that the aliens are godβs method to put the world into purgatory. They believe that ritual sacrifices will quell the beastβs rage, but obviously, that will not work out.
βSonny, let me tell you something. Iβm from a village near Oliverβs too. And in that region, we share a folk tale. When a person kills many people, their spirits will reawaken and haunt them, all as children of the god of wrath. When the man gives in to the spirits, they will turn into a demon and lose their minds. Thatβs why you gotta be careful about that boy Oliver, too. And a sure fire sign of turning into one is glowing red eyes and bouts of insanity.β says the shaman to you as you remember his eyes and the weird cackling a year ago in the cave.
Oliver comes back from recon.
βWe need two more alien power cells over here. And I think I know where to find them.β
The sun is setting, and the sky gets dark with a hue of orange. It is oddly beautiful, among the chaos that is the apocalypse. Oliver pulls out a huge map of the city and lays it on the floor.
Primary Objective: Retrieve the first power cell.
I used to always have to ask my husband to cut the butternut squash. I could sometimes get the knife maybe half of the way through, but I never had the strength to cut through the whole thing.
Just now while making dinner I realized that I breezed through cutting up the whole butternut squash no problem and I stopped for a second. When was the last time I had to ask my husband to help me? I don't even remember!
Even though I haven't reached my goals, and I don't feel like I've made a ton of progress- I've obviously made some! I wonder what other little things I can do now that I used to struggle with?
Becoming stronger and healthier is such an interesting journey! What are some little things you guys have noticed you can do now?
Network supply Agent is offering this recipe! :-)

So, Iβm unemployed right now, and living at home with a lot of free time. I want to do something productive and I want to COOK. I love cooking for my family, but thatβs about all my experience.
I got an idea to put out (starting with) one dish letβs say every Friday night. Thereβs a local commissary kitchen I could rent for $15 an hour. I couldnβt do this at home as I live with my parents and my kitchen isnβt the greatest.
I would advertise on my socials, flyers, and make letβs say 20 portions (realistic to start)? And deliver them over my town.
If I break even Iβm ecstatic. I really just want to gain experience cooking. And do something productive and stimulating and creative.
Hereβs where /r/chefit comes in. I know I need a hard dose of reality. What are the problems with this? What am I not thinking about?
Warning: Quest contains some blood and gore
The next day, after killing the mysterious creature, the world is puzzled by it. Scientists and biologists are struggling to uncover itβs origins.
Before sending the creature off to a lab, Oliver finds a note in itβs body.
β*City hall, Norton square, 3:00pm. To Oliver. *β
The late morning sun is shining in the air, but the air turns tense at the message of the note, apparently written on some sort of otherworldly alien-like paper.
Doods who did the last one:
Random question that came out of a conversation at work. As a kid we were often given squash (cordial) made with hot water in the winter. It makes a lovely hot fruity drink, not far from a fruit tea I guess. We would normally have blackcurrant, but would work with orange too. Someone in my team had never heard of it before, and thought it was really weird, so just wondered whether it was common thing or not?!
Edit: seems that everyone agrees it's delicious, and the guy at work is the weirdo! Thanks π
