This has become more and more of an issue over the last couple of years. In South Korea for example it's especially bad, but it seems to get a lot worse in other regions too.
There are even specialized alarms/lamps/fire detectors which have built in cameras and can be easily ordered online.
One possible way to check whether an item has a hidden camera facing towards you is to use your phone: To check whether your phone is capable of detecting it, open your camera app, point a TV remote towards it and press any button on the remote. If you can see a small light, which is normally invisible to the naked eye, you can start using your phone to scan the rooms for potential spy cams.
Turn off the lights in the room you want to sweep. Then turn on your smartphone’s camera and start looking for any glowing lights.
Make sure to investigate items which seem... keep reading on reddit ➡
I have nothing left to gamble on options, so I'm offering up my body.
If SPY closes over 320.88 tomorrow (7/27) I'll get the sub's logo as my first tattoo.
Edit: Alright, all you retards asked for it, I'll get it on my ass cheek if we close green.
Edit 2: Welp, time to make an appointment. I'm getting the logo tatted on my bum cheek
Hi, just a quick update on my macro sentiment trading journey. I’ve posted my result here two weeks ago - I had 7 winning trades in a row and my account jumped from $10k to $30k. For those who missed my previous post - in my trades I’m following the narrative that fundamentals now mean nothing since Fed started printing in March. Instead of using FA or TA I’m now using macroeconomic sentiment analysis, which is basically a weekly survey of 150k analysts from 130 countries conducted by some company. They’re asking simple questions like “What’s the employment situation in your inner circle: are people losing their jobs and have salary cuts or vice versa”; and post several indicators based on it every week. It’s not an ad so I’m not sharing the company’s name here (unless you ask in DM).
So, last week was no trade according to sentiments, but this week had a very surprising (for me) guidance - buy calls. I was a bit afraid to follow the call (pun intented) because I think there will be a... keep reading on reddit ➡
So, recently I got an e-mail from my school telling me I needed to buy a laptop.
It had an i3, 4GB RAM and 128GB SSD for 700 EUROS....
Not the point, let's ignore that.
When I was going through the e-mail I was reading that they will install software so they can "guarantee optimal school performance" even altough it is our laptop. After taking the laptop from somebody else and looking at the software, I found out that they are logging our keyboard, looking at our screens, tracking every move, tracking our IP-address (using different methods) and much more. I was pretty shocked by this, I came here to ask if it is legal to do those things with OUR bought laptops. I just don't want that laptop in my house...
Known leaker kopite7kimi posted Time Spy Extreme results of the upcoming RTX 3080 a couple of days ago. Apparantly the GPU with the codename GA102-200-KD-A1, which he previously said was RTX3080, scored almost 8600 in Time Spy Extreme (Graphic Score)
Take it with a good deal of salt, but sounds very promising if true. Note that both are based on the big GA102 chip, so be prepared to pay :)
UPDATE: 9 AM PST 7/30 Sold out of PYPL for a nice profit. Would’ve been nicer if I didn’t sleep in lol. Pushed in bigly (for me) on SQ 132 8/7c
UPDATE: 12:48 PST 7/29; sold my MRNA after a snoozer. Hunch play after a boring day:** playing PYPL earnings with 8/14 187.50c**
Update on VXX/MRNA 12pm 7/29: got out on open for a little profit in MRNA. Didn’t have a move I was confident in, saw pharma dipping, and went back in I think around -3ish, gonna hold.
SPY didn’t go green enough yesterday so I didn’t buy the VXX. Glad I didn’t, but it’s looking super tempting for EOD

Next week congress is back in full swing, woop woop! The well dries up on extended Unemployment Insurance benefits (aka the extra $600 a week you hear about people getting) on the 31st, and it’s time for some actual decisions to be made. Here’s how shit looks;
Primer for the unread autist:
On May 25th the House (Democratic) passed the HEROES Act as a starting point for second round of stimulus talks (for those who don’t know how it works, the House passes draft legislation, which then must be approved by the Republican Senate). This will be the first time the Senate get’s a chance to truly debate it’s merits in session, but McConnell and other Republicans have already given statements letting folks know there is no way it passes as stands. What does the HEROES Act include? I put the on... keep reading on reddit ➡

Ok. First things first. I have a masters in finance and was an econ professor for five years. I do have some idea what I'm talking about. However:
Ok then. That being said. Here's one thing I feel pretty strongly about in all markets: there are no easy fixes; the rubber always meets the road, eventually.
So what's fueling this insane stock rally? Obviously it's the Fed. It's the Fed pumping money like crazy. And what will pop this... keep reading on reddit ➡
Obviously you can cheese it and learn it, which I did and I'm not mad, it's very well designed. But holy cow it's like you progress through the star chart and everything is progressively getting harder; your spy missions go from "shoot camera, walk 180 degrees around and hack lock" to having vertical play, to HECKING TIME TRAVEL. Lmao it's 0 to 100.
This is seriously something I can't figure out. Over the last 30 years SPY averaged a little over 10%. Simple math indicates that I can make more by investing then what I have to pay in interest. So my plan is to pay the minimum mortgage amount and invest the rest of my disposable income. I understand that the market can be unpredictable, but it still seems pretty safe to assume that I can get a over a 3.5% return over the next 30 years.
Am I missing something? Why would anyone do this? Please help me understand.
Out of the 3 largest modern spy series: 007 (James Bond), Bourne (Jason Bourne) & Mission Impossible (Ethan Hunt), Bourne undoubtedly is the best spy of them all.
Throughout his trilogy, Jason has not revived any sanctioned help from his organization (CIA). Bond often gets support from his (MI6) and Hunt as well (IMF).
Bond & Hunt have received sanctioned help, gadgets and support teams. Bourne is usually on his own or with a single individual helping him out occasionally.
All three spies do have a diverse ability set. Bond and Hunt do see you have Bourne beat when it comes to flying, but when it comes to land vehicles, they all are well versed.
Bourne is the only one of them who has not gotten captured. Craig’s Bond has gotten caught at least twice and Hunt had his ass beat by (then) John Clark and would have died if not for back up.
Bourne has evaded capture at every turn and has not lost a fight (after the start of the series).
So change my mind that Bond or Hu... keep reading on reddit ➡
