I had my fair fun with the DLC and appreciate the effort but this hardcore endgame isnt for me, cant enjoy it. Massive once admitted their game wasnt fun any more and thats what I realise now for myself, I get that there needs to be a real hardcore challenge for the long term but it feels overtuned at "hard" already. I love the mission designs and levels but the enemies feel too much of work every single time without optimised gear. worth the money, im too old to grind thru this stuff again. Wish everyone good loot and fun, downvote me as u wish, just my honest opinion.
I’ll just type this out real quick.
My highschool friend and I became housemates because we are now both in university far away from home. (She is very petty. Very non-confrontational).
Since August (it is now March) my housemate has had these two friends constantly at our apartment. They are always there, almost every day, and usually sleep around 2 or 3 am on school nights (they are very loud). I told housemate to keep it down many times, but they continued to be loud. Whatever, I take melatonin so I can kinda sleep through it.
3 weeks ago, the sponge for the dishes disappeared. I asked my housemate and she says that I can no longer use it because I forget to squeeze water out the sponge. Wtf? She told me once about the sponge and takes it? But I constantly hear them and am annoyed of friends presence in my home.
As a response, i blocked her friends from our internet (I have full control) and parent locked her Roku (tv) to not work after 12am Sundays-Thursday’s. I’ve heard th... keep reading on reddit ➡
This is a nod to all agents that like the tactical side of Div 2, some might have forgotten that it’s a cover based game and for me 2.0 really delivers... Fights now makes you move a lot, using cover, flanking, crazy all out slaughter attacks... It has it all.
Also love how my skill build now starts to work better and how I have changed up my gameplay totally from before the update. I even abandon my Gunner for a while and resurrected my Survivalist :) Healing is back and the hive stinger is fantastic. I still see many Agents still throw a hive in an open area then it gets stomped by a an enemy... Placement is key and you can hold down a whole section of the map if you place it right giving the A.I no chance to destroy the stinger.
Also played a couple of random missions with others and when you end up in a good group that understand the changes in the update we’ve been able to blast through the missions.
Game has been out for less than a week and getting so tired of seeing all; t... keep reading on reddit ➡
Tried the last door in Washington Hotel on Heoric mode. It took us like 2-3 mins to destroy it via the mini gun and our own guns. I bet the oil tanks in Legendary mission are the same.
I think the hoe should be the optimal block for breaking sponge, dried kelp, honeycomb block, and the hay block. This would give the all of these blocks, which are extremely tedius to mine, a better way to mine them. Also, it would make the different types of hoes useful (you would have more of a reason to make a diamond hoe than just "i want to look rich").
Edit: Add cactus to the list, absolutely. Potentially even the target block as well.
Hi - I think that I may have a solution for the many people in the community that are complaining about the “bullet sponge” Elites. The happy balance is to simply increase the NUMBER of NPCs that scale at the higher difficulty levels and reduce the armor/heath of the Named Elites by some fixed % at each difficulty level. As a veteran player with close to 1000 hours in D2, I personally like the extreme effort required to destroy these things, but I suspect that I would likely equally enjoy the challenge with a LOT more NPCs rushing and flanking me at the higher difficulty levels.
I must say, though, that Heroic and Legendary missions SHOULD be Heroic/Legendary and a BIG challenge and NOT something that an Agent with weaker builds and/or poor tactics can get through.
It is VERY important to highlight that if only the Elites are materially nerfed, Heroic and Legendary content will be a breeze to get through, and it is going to be too easy again as in TU7. We really need to... keep reading on reddit ➡
My missus has recently developed a bit of a weird habit of sniffing manufactured goods. Specifically sponges. I thought this was strange but mostly harmless.
Today however shes giving me grief for not letting her add dettol to her sponge, this takes it a little too far IMO. Obviously chemicals arent meant to be huffed.
Shes a frequent visitor to this sub - i love you you weirdo.
At a family reunion Your other sponge-loving cousin shows up "Hey!" "Hey!"
It just isn't fun to me, and the loot you get off the enemy usually isn't anything worthwhile. Like you get an alert that Nordhagen Beach is under attack and when you get there, there's a bunch of high-level super mutants. So you start blasting and it takes a lot of ammo to kill them, but it's not really fun, it just feels kind of tedious. You're actually bored with pointing the gun, pulling the trigger, and reloading by the time it's over.
I find something like ranking up a perk that gives you big damage for sneak attacks to be more satisfying than finally killing a bullet sponge enemy.
There have been times where I pick up the dish sponge in the kitchen, it smells bad, and I chuck it out. I've had roommates also smell the sponge and they can't smell anything.
Very basic change. Any coral block, when in direct contact with wet sponge, stays alive and doesn't dry out. This feels like somethong obvious when it comes to Minecraft logic, but it simply isn't there.
Edit: Cauldrons too
WONY DLC bring lots of thing, and one of them is the Div 2 1.0 bullet sponges AI. On challenging/ heroic global difficulty, each AI probably has more health than 5 mill (probably 10 for rogue agents).
Im fine with the health increase for difficulty reason but this is too excesive, they can keep the large damage but please tone the health down since we don't have 10 sec cluster seeker mine anymore.
When you see someone who can no longer even think because some part of the brain has died due to loss of blood flow, you should understand that our consciousness, our being, derives from the correct and proper functioning of our brains, not from some spiritual essence.
And I would LOVE it if we had eternal souls, that weren’t dependent on things such as blood flow and nutrition and a certain environmental temperature and oxygen concentration. But no evidence exists to suggest that, while abundant evidence exists to show us that we are just ... meat bags with electrified meat sponges creating our consciousnesses.
If you are going to stick with the sh**ty bullet sponge mechanics then you should 100% remove purple tier loot from hard difficulty.
I get the expansion has only been out less than a week. Still, the kids playing more in a day then I do in a month are putting out semi optimized builds and are saying named enemies at least are still bullet sponges. Much of it is "I can get by", it's not "here's a powerful build". I want a build to go after, because I don't have hundreds of hours to dump into this game.
It seems some people like this idea, but I thought bullet sponge enemies were a common complaint. My gripe is bullet sponge != challenge. Anyone can kite enemies or sit in cover forever. To me the only thing it challenges is my patience. I get it's an shooter so the scope is different, but I want something like diablo 3 where you become a god and can walk through all but the highest level rifts. I want a mountain top I can get to. I want to feel powerful. If it takes a 100 hours to get there, that's pretty damn good in my eyes. I'm never just going to play for weeks on end. If there's no mountain top, I don't feel li... keep reading on reddit ➡
Was flying through "claying" my car with this new Nanoskin Autoscrub I picked up when I hit some sticky tar behind the front wheel. Did as I usually do and sprayed it down with Tarminator to soak a minute. Came back to it and slid the Autoscrub over it and immediately felt something wrong. As you can see, the Tarminator started to melt the rubber near the top of the sponge here. This has never been a problem with my regular clay (Zaino Z-18) and I am bummed to have a new product I was liking be completely ruined. So be warned about getting your Autoscrubs near these solvent based tar removers. I guess I should have known better.
I'm planning to implement bosses into my game; but I don't want to be similar to Resident Evil bosses in general ; for three reasons :

Pretty self explanatory. Here’s why:
If I’m not mistaken we don’t currently have a block endermen can’t teleport onto, which I think would be very useful for use in farms and keeping endermen off your lawn. I’m assuming Crying Obsidian will be obtainable in other ways besides piglin bartering. Even if that isn’t the case, this would still make sense. Crying Obsidian is crying, and drips water. Sponges do the same. Endermen hate water, so shouldn’t they avoid these blocks?
Was solo tackling a CP4 today (level 40 back in DC) on Global Hard and was wondering how much hp each of these guys had.
It took me 50 shots (that connected) to bring down a regular grunt that was already on half armor.
My pistol deals 113.4k damage each shot, and has a crit chance of 43% for an extra 45ish% damage. Not including crits and headshots, Each grunt has more than 5.6 million hp+armor.
I really hope to have some better weapons soon. These lil 40 one's just aren't cutting it for this content.
(Also it took me about an hour if people are counting.)
