Reducing Systemic Mobility- A new project that we're ramping up. This is going to be both addressing major mobility outliers that go too far breaking intended weaknesses (like Stridebreaker) and trimming lots of small movement speed creep across items and runes. These aren't meant to be nerfs, just power shifts away from too much mobility. A champion focused pass may come after, but we want to see the systems changes play out first.

Tahm Kench - Still in the works, art and final tuning are progressing nicely

Top agency and Split Pushing- Continuing the work to increase top lane agency and the viability of split pushing. Currently we have a split push focused fighter item, a split push focused tank item, and some adjustments to outer turrets to make them a bit more valuable

Sona - Design direction of the Sona changes is locked, but we won't get her art done until after Tahm Kench is done

Defensive Enchanter Legendary - This is still in the works, and we have some designs that are trending well, but it's behind these other projects in our priority queue so don't expect it in a patch soon

Several years ago I went through an abrupt & ugly lesbian divorce. My ex is an heiress to a high net worth family (in the publicly known range of 600+ million USD).

For two years prior to this split, she & I had been working individually & together with a “money coach” to help us communicate about money. The money coach was a trust fund kid in his twenties (like her) with a degree in psychology who specialized in helping young adults cope & comprehend the unique terrain of extreme inheritance & it’s impact on inter-personal relationships. Via a mediator, I asked for the total amount we’d agreed upon in our alimony agreement & she refused. (The amount was calculated to be enough for me to re-locate back to the states & give me 6mos to get back on my professional income generating feet.)

I'm truly sorry.

My post isn't about that, I wanted to tell the story about what happened, and what was fixed (and what's not) GGG fixed the removal of the split tag from the recipe, but they did not fix the fact that the fracture properties can still be removed with the same recipe.( https://www.reddit.com/r/pathofexile/comments/n325hl/you_can_print_a_lot_of_6linked_weapons_for_almost/ like this recipe) Now, due to this bug, fracture-tags on really expensive bases doesn't make any sense. I believe, that this is a very large exploit for economy right now, and it needs to be corrected ASAP.

Also i would like to see your opinions about this league's absolutely massive amount of game-breaking bugs I'm glad that GGG are trying to fix all vulnerabilities in short periods of time, but i believe, that community's help is much more efficient than current team of GGG's testers

Not trying to start a witch hunt here so I won't name names, but I kept track of the usernames of some people who had too many 5W socket 6L bases for it to be realistic and they are not banned when you go to their profile.

Are we going to get /u/bex_ggg or someone from GGG to comment on this and why this exploit is fine?

As far as I know.. Monday (in NZ) has passed by and we got no information at all from GGG

The Hawks and Wizards played a very important game against each other, as the Hawks are trying to stay in the race for the 4 seed while also hoping to avoid falling to 6th, while the Wizards are trying to clinch a play-in berth. The Hawks won the game, but the Wizards came back from way down in the 2nd half, despite not having Bradley Beal available, and made it a thriller down the stretch.

Westbrook was the crux of the comeback attempt, on a night where he broke Big O's record. He scored well again, shot well, grabbed a ton of rebounds, had another 20+ assist game and had a 7:1 assist/turnover ratio. The game will be remembered for the record, but the statline shouldn't be ignored.

My grandma died recently and it created a lot of family drama. Basically, everyone expected her to leave their house/land, family heirlooms, and a small amount of money to the 3 siblings (my dad, my aunt, and my uncle). But instead she left big things to them but a lot of the smaller sentimental stuff to grandkids. Plus about 20k per grandkid.

BUT she didn’t actually leave it to all the grandkids, only her 3 biological grandkids. The other 5 were just completely left out of anything.

I have two step-siblings that come from my dad’s side but aren’t biologically his, plus a half brother from my mom’s other relationship. My aunt also has two formerly foster/now-adopted kids who were also excluded. Most of the grandkids are underage, so the adults are more just quietly redistributing the money and items or in some cases supplementing it with their own money and then planning to just tell the kids it’s from grandma. It seems like the net will be about 10k for each of the 8 grandkids, rather than 20k for the 3 bio grandkids.

But my parents want me to

a) give up a specific item that’s traditionally meant for the oldest granddaughter, because I’m the oldest bio-granddaughter but not the oldest granddaughter

b) give them half the money to put in an account for my stepsister’s college fund [she's 16]

c) promise not to say anything ever so the non-bio kids don’t feel bad

I think they chose my stepsister on purpose because technically they could have said “give us half the money for cousin x or to be split between x y and z cousins" but instead they chose my stepsister because we’re close.

My first instinct was definitely yes, because it just seemed fair and I do love my stepsister, we grew up together. I'm really only using terms like step- etc for this post, basically everyone is considered siblings and cousins. I don't agree with my grandma's choice, and I actually think it's a little racist or at least narrow-minded.

Plus, everyone in the family (or at least the adults) will know if I refuse, and I do like my family and am close to them.

But on the other hand:

• My stepsiblings definitely already have a little more money than me even before this because they have money from other sources AND my parents, whereas I just have money from my parents. So for example my parents are putting the same amount of money into each kid's college fund, but my step-siblings have their bio mom contributing to theirs as well. So redistributing feels a little weird in

Edit: People were really getting stuck on this part so: Splitting the party doesn't matter when it comes down to it, the characters will survive or they won't, the DM might fudge rolls to save them or it might be a TPK. Splitting the part is inevitable in games, sometimes your rogue/ranger scouts ahead, sometimes someone has a dream sequence, sometimes the spotlight just needs to be on one person for a little bit. And that's fine, it's also fine if you want to split the party and end up in combat (just be ready to eat the potential consequences) but when a DM has half a group in a tense situation and everyone else sitting twiddling their thumbs for longer than 15-30 minutes, then IMHO it becomes a big problem.

The real rule in it's place should be What should be taken into account when making these decisions is 'Don't split the DM'. At best you get maybe a jumpy back and forth between two or more groups... Or at worst you end up with players sitting and doing nothing for hours on end.

You can make decisions as characters and you can make decisions as players for your characters but unless you want to be 'that guy', you can make a decision that doesn't give your DM more work than needed to keep all the people who came to play engaged and enjoying the session.

This is down to the players more than the DM.

Edit: I'm seeing a lot of comments regarding what I said on fudging and pulling punches Vs a split group, while some excellent points have been made that wasn't really the point of this post. I was more referring to situations that lead to the DMs attention being split, here's an example:

The party has a prisoner and also some NPCs + Wagon and they're escorting both to a town. In the night the prisoner escapes, they work out the prisoner can't be too far, maybe an hour or two away and with magic etc they could catch up. But not if they take the wagon, who for whatever reason can't be left alone. 3 of the party go after the prisoner, 2 continue to escort the wagon. So now half the party are in a skill check/chase mode game that will likely end in combat and the other half are in Overland travel mode. The DM could check back in on the wagon but since they were only a few hours travel away from their destination it would likely be uneventful.

A specific example I know but this is what I meant about splitting the DM. When players end up in different game modes they will end up bored potentially sitting on their phone

Honestly, having to keep buying chaos just to pay 1.5ex is driving me insane
