Fascist UK hands US all territory in North and South America, America has not completed the Destroyers for Bases focus. What’s going on?

It MIGHT be tied to the Monroe doctrine since that’s the last focus they completed before the transfer... unless the UK has a focus for the trade on their side?

EDIT: tagged over to US... they have a war goal against France despite the neutrality act. I am throughly confused

Far Cry 6 should be set in an 80s South America

Give me an 80s era South America, we are a journalist sent in to interview a drug baron and of course things go haywire. Our character should definitely be voiced again.

Rookie Willis Huntley is there on one of his first assignments.

Weapons can be just as varied as they are in FC3/4. No variants like in 5.

Locale Militia could be fighting back as a force to join the fight.

Plenty of opportunity for the FC drug trip of course.

Lots of predators and animals to be aware of. Including returning water predators such as Crocodiles and even new ones such as Anacondas and Piranha.

Dont even get me started on the soundtrack.

Also please for the sake of our gameplay and sanity NO RESISTANCE METER.

EDIT. Thanks for my first Gold Kind Stranger!!

LFG and inviting people from South America unknowingly has caused language issues.

I know it may sound rude or racist but I'd like to discuss this because NOT ALL Brazil or other Latin/South American players can't speak or understand enough english to clear content. Lately I've ran into the worst of the worst language barrier and I end up having to kick people and feel like a jerk. Is it wrong or rude to see the server someone is trying to join your group from... I understand that it may cause the adverse affect which is no one inviting players from the known latin/south American servers but I've also been the one english speaker and been confused out of my mind wishing that I knew that before a key was used. I felt bad for being sort of confused and also killed the group because of not understanding what was going on.

About to set out on a long scooter tour across south America, need advice.

This is gonna be a long post.

I'm about to set out on a tour from Colombia to southern Argentina. The plan is northern-most point on the continent to southern-most. My motorized two wheel vehicle experience is limited to scooter rentals in South East Asia and south America, but I have done ~5000 miles of loaded bicycle touring. I expect to be on the road for 8 months or more.

I want to do it on a scooter for the following reasons:

  • cheap and gas efficient. This bike will likely be ditched/given away at the end. Don't want to fuck with shipping anything. The plan right now is a Honda Navi which can be purchased for 1000 USD new in Colombia.

  • I had what should have been a mild concussion not too long ago and it made me scared shitless of head injuries. Slow bike + high quality full face helmet is how I'm mitigating this risk.

  • I'm not bring camping gear so no need for big panniers or load carrying capacity. Everything except helmet will fit in carry-on sized bag s

M: Uuh, we had a common ancestor and monkeys and us both evolved from it

T: You'd (humans) surely evolve in the same way though and there would have to be a higher power to make that happen!

  1. T: Adam and Eve had children, those children had children together and so on until we popped up M: That's incest though

T: Yeah but what else could they do? It was god's will!

M: Doesn't god forbid incest?

T: Yes, but everything is his will

M: Oh, just how he forbids homosexuality but still people are gay, does that mean they're gay by his will?

T: pauses don't argue on the behalf of f*ggots! (translated from Bosnian, sorry)

  1. T: If evolution is real, how would it know to place similar animals on South America, Africa, Australia etc.?

M: Pangea, teacher. The continents were once together

Advice on teaching in south and Central America

I’ve just recently finished my M.Sc. and I’m thinking of doing TEFL for a year or two before I start back into academic life and look for a PhD. I’m most interested in Central and South America mostly because I have the basics down for Spanish and the fact that there’d be less of a language barrier than there would be in Asia is reassuring. Everywhere I look online it’s companies advertising TEFL positions with glowing reviews, but I want to hear some honest opinions rather than the ones these companies have picked out to suit there agenda. So what I want to know is:

  1. Whereabouts were you (country and region)?
  2. How easy/hard did you find it to find a position?
  3. How safe did you feel there?
  4. How did your income match up with the cost of living?
  5. Were you able to save any money? (This isn’t a dealbreaker or anything like that, it’d just be nice if I was able to come home with some savings).
  6. What are some things specific to the region that I should know if I’m going to teac

What if North and South America weren't taken over by European powers?

Let's say that the Native Americans weren't as badly affected by Old World disease and the European empires weren't so keen on taking control of the New World's lands and resources. Europe's influence over the Americas would be limited to trading with the native tribes, in which the exchange of technologies, knowledge, and domesticated animals could elevate the American civilizations to a level comparable to the Old World civilizations at the time

What nations would arise from the Native dominant North and South America? What new technologies would they make? New food and cuisines, among other cultural advances? And most importantly, how does history play out in this timeline?

Can also include Australia and Oceania in this regard

What's your story? What's your life like? What kind of food do you eat? Really interested in other cultures and lives!

American Youth Abroad in Europe and South America

So this list is a compilation of players I found that are in B and youth Teams across Europe in the Top 2 divisions mostly. England and Germany I looked a little deeper into the 3rd and 4th divisions in the countries due to their quality IMO. I tried to weed out the players >25. If any links are wrong or I missed any players that come to mind please let me know. I'll try in a couple weeks to compile one of North America excluding the U.S.

A recap of the Melbourne season 4 cast trip to Mexico, in which the ladies venture β€œSouth of America”

  1. Lydia vs. Jackie and Janet - because Janet accused Lydia of trying to drive a wedge between her and Jackie, and Lydia retaliated by saying that Janet was talking shit about Jackie behind her back about something that happened while Jackie was on vacation with Chyka and Bruce (details unknown - if anyone has the tea please @ me)
  2. Venus vs. Gamble - because Gamble bought a fake lordship to mock Venus’ husband, sent a photo from a movie of a woman being murdered to her friend and posted it on Twitter and said it was Venus, and called Venus a cunt, amongst other things.
  3. Gina vs. Gamble - because Gina has accused Gamble of β€œstalking” her for the weird ways in which Gamble has tried to patch up their fractured friendship, including sending flowers to a group dinner Gina hosted with a card that said som
