First time buyer

Okay so I’ve recently started getting into lingerie! I’ve been following pages on Instagram like Gooseberry, solstice intimates, to name a few. But I’m looking for any more suggestions! I still have yet to actually purchase a set for myself. I don’t want to spend a ton of money on it. Because I would only wear it for myself ... for now 😜 any tips would be appreciated!!!!

I am a 34DD and about a medium/large size for panties. Thanks again in advance ❀️

After 25 years, I no longer have a flying career, so I think it's time to talk about what happened at Petawanga Lake.

If you’re reading this, it’s probably because, like me, you’ve got a lot of time on your hands. Three months ago I got the word from my airline that I won’t be returning to work. I’m turning 65 in a month, so it’s safe to say I won’t sit in the Captain’s seat again. Airlines have a rule about old men flying in the left seat, and I’m not going to take a spot from a younger man with kids or a spouse to feed. So after 25 years at a big airline, I decided to put myself out to pasture. It’s a bad time to be selling a house, but to hell with it; I’m doing it anyway. My wife and I still own a small cottage north of Nipigon, a little town far, far up in Northern Ontario. We figured we’ve got enough time left in reserve to enjoy some time being close to nature. We’ve been up here for a while now, settling back in, and it’s amazing how quickly you get over living in a big city when you’re in the Real North.

Now if you’re not familiar with Ontario, there’s a tiny little town with a metal goose a

My wife and I bought a ranch in the mountains last year, and my neighbor had some interesting suggestions on how to manage our new land. Part VI, Finale: Winter Ghosts

Part V

That evening after our first tango with the ghosts, Sash and I decorated our little Christmas tree and made some tacos. We tried to stay up beat, but that experience really shook us both. As sunset approached, all I wanted to do was start slammin Kentucky hootch to take the edge off, but I’d already accepted needing to monitor the candles all night.

Sash said not to think like that. She’d set up a β€œcandle station” on the kitchen island, and ordered a glass orb with open ends to shield the candles. We’d practiced 7 times over the last weeks with the slow-burning candles we’d ordered, and they all burned for 25-30 hours without fail. Still, yah fuckin right I was gonna sleep.

Quite impish of the spirit to make its seasonal debut on the solstice too, longest night of the year.

We lit the candles and went onto the back porch, looking out into the pasture at the ghosts. Sasha wat

The "Mithrax's Daughter" Theory and a brief thought on why Beyond Light might be a critical point for the Fallen of Sol.

I'm not the first person to shed some light on these two, but I think I might have the most informational approach to it. Let me know if you agree or disagree!

First, a reminder of who Misraaks, AKA Mithrax, is.

The Dreaming City: Misraaks

A Scratching at the Door [part 1]

It is my cathedral, my magnum opus- the culmination of two decades spent grinding my way through the most debauched and blasphemous practices and indulgences. It’s a thing of imposing grandeur most might shrug off as ominous or distasteful, like a soviet-era state edifice or a moldering abandoned hospital on an overcast hillside. It’s also seedy, just the right mix of ordered and disordered to tickle my mind and draw me into the rapturous atmosphere I have worked so hard to create within its walls. For years, I have retreated here when the weight of the world around me has beaten me low with its tedious, mundane goings-on, a last respite for a mind that never felt quite at home there. Fitting, then, that it will serve as my tomb.

Whoever stumbles across this account will find it in my home. From there, my cathedral is some two miles away, down the old logging trail that forks off from Whispering Pines Road. The dugout is near its terminus- a low, brooding bunker-like structure buried

First BPAL order: immediate impressions from someone very new to perfumes

My first review post here! BPAL sent me two extra samples, too. Exciting! There was a delay after purchase, but that's okay and expected what with *waves hands* everything. Some of these are very different from what I was expecting, but none disappoint as experiences unto themselves. Many of these scents have a dank, wet/moist background to them, and maybe that's because they're perfume oils (vs many of the EDP samples which I have otherwise)? Maybe it's the musks used? Unsure. It's different.

Haunted - Heavy, wet, thick, warm, musky. Fascinating scent. Vaguely reminds me of aftershave. Going to definitely come back to this one, if only because it is different and interesting. Said to be golden amber with black musk.

Blood Kiss - This one is a Lot? Almost sickeningly sweet vanilla. Same wetness to it, animalic, almost nauseating, but also intimate and sensual--maybe too sensual for me right now? It's weird, almost a stickiness, or that warmth of skin. I get the sort of er

Trip Report: 9 Days in Tokyo Dec 16 - Dec 25

While I know this is a very tardy trip report, I feel like we need a bit of content and distraction from the fact that many people are having to change their plans due to this troubling time.

You can find my itinerary I posted before the trip here.

First off, let me say that this trip was about proposing to my girlfriend and as a way to celebrate her graduation from college. I am pleased to share she did say yes, thank god, what an awkward twelve hour flight that would have been. Secondly, thank god we went when we did any later and we would have been in creeping into corona time, although the first cases weren't confirmed til much later.

The Flights to California

Let me preface this with the fact that I am not a stranger to flying, but how woefully under prepared I was for the monster that was Los Angeles to Haneda. First was a flight from Orlando to Dallas/Fort Worth.

The Amazon jungle has a very complex and also very delicate and fragile biosystem.Β A long process has been necessary so that nature has made fertile clay soil with very few nutrients for plants, trees, animals and human beings.

The Annual Pass In Retrospect

With all of the AP's content now out (Solstice is a free event, so no it doesn't count), I'd like to take a look back at what worked, what didn't, and how it could be improved upon in the coming Seasons. I'll go chronologically, dealing with each Season's highs and lows. And yes, this post will be long, we have a lot to cover.

Black Armoury

The Good:

  • The Forges were a good way to break into creating your own weapons and give players a grindy activity with probably the best reward-to-time-spent ratio in the game. I still play them today despite being 750 and not needing powerfuls, though that's partially because I still need some god rolls and the Master Smith triumph.
  • Ada's lore was amazing and a strong point of this content drop -seriously. It's really, really good for how short it really is and it's worth reading. I like, and want more of, these smaller stories. Not everything needs to be a huge, cataclysmic event where we take on gods. They can be smaller in focus and

The Archangel Theory - A Possible Explanation to MCR's new symbolism

VISUAL HELP FOR THIS THREAD: HERE

Hello, reddit! This is a very long post, but I hope it’s worth the reading. Sorry.

I am Nana, and today I bring you a fan-theory on the meaning behind MyChem's symbols presented to us in the occasion of the band's return announcement and later on, at the actual reunion concert day.

First Considerations:

1. being it, as the title implies, a fan-theory, I do not claim any of the exposed to be factual when associated to MCR. I bring this thread to you guys in hopes that we can discuss, expand, teach and learn with each other, and maybe come to some sort of conclusion. Riddles are fun to play, especially together. I love riddles in fandom experience. :)

Scents and Stats Round 3: March!

For 2020 I've been keeping a tab in my spreadsheet where I record what perfume I wore each day. It's been interesting to see what's getting used and look for trends.

So, in case anyone else is interested, here are some of my "stats" for the month of March.

March: 31 days

13 different fragrances worn

Number of times each house was worn (note that if I wore the same fragrance twice, it counts twice for that house, but not for total different fragrances:

Arcana 16x

Nui Cobalt 7x

NAVA 2x

Solstice Scents 2x

Astrid 1x

Stereoplasm 1x

If you do the math, you'll see there were two days I didn't wear perfume at all. That's really unusual for me; March was a very difficult month (for everyone!) but also due to a family emergency.

Originally I'd planned to wear each scent for three days running as a sort of experiment, getting to know them more intimately. My own spreadsheet notes are a record of me falling off the wagon with this plan and committing to just two days each, and by

Festivals and Ceremonies of Boston

For a religion, however loosely that term applies here, that is so thoroughly morose, and even bitter, in its theology and worldview as the Occultist faith of New England, it is surprisingly prone to the use of festivals. Boston especially, which is easily the wealthiest settlement in New England, and the only one to have even the remotest claim to civilization. They are enumerated here.

Pilgrims From Abroad

To begin with, it would be a gross oversight to not address the common presence of Americanists in Boston. There is a significant minority of native Americanist Yankee Bostonians, though they are dramatically outnumbered by Occultists. More significant are the pilgrims from the west and south. Many visit the holy sites of the cityβ€”Old North Church, where the Founding Fathers laid their plans, in particularβ€”but most significant is the practice where pilgrims carry valuable offerings across the supposed length of an ancient battle wit

My thoughts on Reality. 2 of 2.

When going through this experience, the first thought I had was about the Egyptians worshiping Ra. Worshiping the sun would be instinct. Plants do it. I’m pretty much a plant of sorts.

But even in modern religion, it’s iterated over and over that Jesus is the son. I think there is heavy connection with words like Son, sun, sol, soul, sole, meaning alone(all one), absolute...etc. Our language connects a lot of these ideas right under our nose. Words have to carry the same vibration and tone. The spelling is secondary. Either to hide meaning or differentiate.

Krishna, Ra and Jesus were born of virgins. Krishna's main Sun correspondence is that he gave the knowledge of the Gitas to the Sun God. The Gitas are about man realizing god consciousness. Jesus also gets mixed in with the Greek sun god Helios. The depiction of Helios is where the halo comes from. A halo is not a Bible thing. It's the light emitting from behind helios' head. But mixing Jesus with another sun god is of no conseque

The maids will tidy up, so I suppose they’ve been asked to leave these things alone. Then most of the furniture and linen and such are in her preferred colours rather than matching the general scheme of the manor.

β€œIs it Hastings you have your eye on?” she asks, taking me out of my mindless thoughts.

Clothed component to nude event was very enlightening, a personal revelation

I attended a naked Summer Solstice event last weekend in Brooklyn, NY. It was a good event that was proving meaningful in creating connections. It was diversely attended by almost equal males and females, and many colors of skin. But the organizer wanted to end the event on the roof, in the outdoors. This neccesiatated all the attendees getting dressed as it would be a public space.

I first met everyone at this event nude, both myself and them. I had met people dressed only later to see them nude (a shuttle to a resort, conversations at screening offices, etc.) but this experience of interacting with prolonged clothed interaction with people I had connected with nude was unique and revelatory.

Seeing everyone get dressed after 90 minutes of meaningful interaction nude with them was fascinating. When they put their clothes on I started to judge and categorize each of them in ways I had not when we were nude. Clothes send so many signals. I realized (assumed) one guy I danced with earl

My Rankings Of Bjork's Albums

Hello everyone!

I have just recently re-listened to every Bjork album (like for the 100th time) and would like to share my ratings of every song as well as my overall rankings of each album.

My method for rating albums goes as such:

  • Give a song a rating from 1 - 10

1 - 4 = trash; garbage; un-listenable

5 = okay, but not that great

6 - 7 pretty good and would listen to again

8 - 9 = great songs; near perfect; listen to all the time

10 = magnum opus; perfection; the best songs ever to exist

  • Add the total ratings of every song
  • Divide by the amount of songs to get the average
  • Then, give an album a extra 10 points if I like the overall if I enjoy its themes, consistency, vocals, production etc...

Its not the most accurate ways of ranking, but I like it and its fun so whatever.

Please reply with your opinions below as I would love to know what other people think of her albums.

Anyways, onto the ranking (in order of release).

My winter solstice baby

Preface: I have zero qualms with modern medicine and I wholeheartedly embrace it. Additionally I do not vilify any other methods of giving birth. I do not hold one above the others. I merely want to share my story. In hopes of supplying a sense of humanity which is often accomplished in storytelling.

I’m not sure what motivated me to use a midwife or have a home birth. In a weird way it felt like a remembrance of the sacredness of childbirth. Like I was connected to some forgotten past. Hippy dippy notions aside sometimes with me I just have to do things my own way and find out for myself. I thoroughly considered and evaluated the risks and felt willing to consider home birth. It was a low risk pregnancy and I had a previous healthy vaginal birth at a hospital. With my first birth it was a long 2.5 day labor. If anyone asks me how I felt about my epidural I always say it was the best thing that ever happened to me. The doctor wanted to start pitocin and I was so tired. The break from

I have had mutual dream sharing experiences with two friends over six times on sequential full moons...

I am going to put a TLDR, a summary, and a follow up. Because this is going to be a lot. But I need to consult with other LD redditors in hopes that someone can relate. So following is the TLDR:

After a history of lucid dreaming, an old friend and I are sharing the same dreams...

And here is the summary:

Since I was 10, I dreamt I was trying to fly. I eventually started realizing that if I was flying, then I must be dreaming. Then I started influencing my dreams. Now I influence them knowing I'm dreaming automatically. I grew up with a friend I've known for ten years (I'm 25). We started dreaming about each other. We shared the same dream on the same night with a third friend during winter solstice. We have shared at least two more dreams since then. These dreams we keep having are really bringing us together. I just want your thoughts on what's going on. Has anyone else dreamshared?

A Scratching at the Door (part 1)

Ayahuasca, Shipibo Art and Mathematics πŸ€―πŸŒΏπŸπŸ’š

The Amazon jungle has a very complex and also very delicate and fragile biosystem.Β A long process has been necessary so that nature has made fertile clay soil with very few nutrients for plants, trees, animals and human beings.

However, the shipibo, as a man of the Jungle, is in intimate contact with its surroundings and is part of it, taking advantage of it wisely.Β Somehow he knows that everything is interrelated.

The knowledge of all the shaping elements of this biosphere represents it in all the original and enigmatic designs presented in their artisanal objects.

The moon and nature calendar I made last year is even better now!

Last year I made a moon calendar and seasonal companion, a project which came directly out of my attempts to reconnect with the natural world in a more visceral way. A wiccan friend suggested posting it here, and it got some really good responses, so I just wanted to let you know that there is a new calendar for the new year.

And with lots of user feedback, this second year is even better! The point is to get in touch with the natural world and the reliable changing of seasonal patterns to remind myself how everything is intimately connected.

Check out A Moon Calendar and Seasonal Companion 2020

Moon cycle beginning June 20, 2020

WHAT YOU’LL FIND IN THIS CALENDAR:

  • Moon phasesβ€”calendar pages start and end with the new moon, not the month!
  • Solstices and equinoxes, marking the first day of each season
  • Constel
