There are lots of details on their official post, I'm just going to list the scents being released and their formats. (Extrait = 5ml, available for sample packs, EDP = 60ml or 2.5ml samples)

So I've seen a lot of people bashing solstice for various reasons and for all there may be some validity I actually think on a whole its acty ok.
To get the entire set finished probably takes around 10-20 hours depending on how you play it. Some of the steps are a little grindy but that's just Destiny.
The up points for me
3 really nice armor sets with a base glow available through play.
3 ornament sets to buy but can be bought before finishing the white set if you don't have time etc. Also 6k isn't that much in dust
The two ships and sparrow available for dust.
The overboost on your alt characters is really cool. My 2nd run through is going really quick.
Its gave me something to play and I've enjoyed it, I get some steps are a pain....looking at you 10 gambit matches and 7 trials wins but we have plenty of time to do them.
So if your avoiding it cause people have told you its trash , give it a try you may be surprised.

In honor of Summer Solstice for the northern hemisphere, I've made an updated list of popular lights. Today is a couple days after (sorry!) the day you're least likely to need a flashlight north of the equator, but it increases every day after so it's a good time to buy a flashlight[.](http://zakreviews.com/static/photos/fw3a/derivatives/article-image/DSC_0500(1).JPG)
Because a definitive buyer's guide is too hard, I've made an arbitrary list of popular lights you should consider if you're shopping for a light. There is no best flashlight, so this is not the last word in what's good, but a list of lights that are often bought or recommended here with a touch of my own opinion thrown in. Exclusion from this list doesn't mean a light isn't good. To search more lights by their attributes, try http://flashlights.parametrek.com/index.html
Where possible, official manufacturer URLs are linked here. Sometimes the manufacturer offers good deals through direct orders, so... keep reading on reddit ➡
>Reach the Majestic level and your armor will begin to glow as you reveal the Light within.
Normal solstice armor will have glows and EV sets will be ornaments that change glow colour depending on subclass. Only one ornament set per class.
Update: Solstice armor will glow white and you need to have unlocked the legendary version to buy the EV ornaments.
Update2: more details to be given about solstice in today's TWAB.
I've been here since D1 Beta.
I was there for Solstice 2019 and have the gloriously beautiful Titan armor set with Arc Glows that I PAINSTAKINGLY grinded for to show for it.
Why do I like this year's Solstice? No 100 EAZ Miniboss Kills required.
For those that went thru that hell, I understand your hesitation to participate this year but i promise you...what took me personally the entire ~4 week event to get done last year I finished by this Saturday morning this year. White Glows from top to bottom. The overall grind is 1/1,000th of what it was last year.
Edit: The reason 100 Miniboss Kills was absurd was because they were Final Blow kills ONLY. I believe (with no evidence!) that an average EAZ run got you ~8-9 minimum boss kills. Assuming all three of you were evenly contributing and SECURING YOUR OWN FINAL BLOWS, that means YOU got maybe ~3 Miniboss kills per run. It was the absoulte antithesis of teamwork.
How does one find or calculate the exact time of the 2020 Winter Solstice? Thank you :)
(At least I think that's parabolic... Otherwise, whatever new velocity that increases eccentricity to 1.05 or an equivalent?
Also hopefully the few hours thing helps the acceleration to not kill everything.)
Event should have begun for our New Zealand friends!
Everything you need to know about the event, all in one place. We've got a few different researchers lined up to help edit this post, so it should be kept current at all times. A lot of these pieces will be verified by the Silph Research Group, so throughout the post we'll use the formatting:
Also note that (s) will be used for species whose shiny form is available.
This verification isn't meant to replace reports here, rather to provide an extra level of verification and depth to the event. Travelers are always welcome to join here and help out with data collection: https://thesilphroad.com/research-group/
Have fun and stay safe this week!

Hey guys what bottoms go with the new 2020Covet Solstice cape and top????
Thank you, fashion gods.
Updated the Solstice Armor Info/Checklist/Guide that I worked on last year. Thanks to u/chinnygan for the original version here.
Please note that this information was datamined and the rest was based on the previous Solstice so it may not be 100% accurate at the moment. I will be updating it if things change and add more tips/tricks as they are discovered.
The objectives are sorted by activity, with the "All" column being objectives that can be completed in any activity so you can quickly see all the objectives for the activity you want to do. Solar/Arc/Void specific objectives are highlighted by color, objectives that require you to match your subclass to the day's burn are light gray, and there's one objective that only counts orbs that match your subclass in dark grey.

If anyone finds this helpful to help keep track of objectives, I made an armor upgrade checklist in Google Sheets. Just make a copy into your own Google Drive and it's yours!
I created a video showing off everything I could find in the destiny api for the 2020 Solstice of Heroes event. I showcase all rewards plus objectives found on the 3 sets of gear on all three classes.
Thanks to this great post about the lack of glow in the new solstice ornaments, it also shows the pricing.
Was 800 silver for a set for all 3 classes (but only one element) Now 1500 silver for one class. 87% increase in cost. Maybe they expect that people will only purchase 1 set, unlike last season when you needed all 3 glows to be complete for just one class.
Also for Bright Dust: Was 5000 BD for one glow, now 6000 BD. Seems almost reasonable in comparison.
Last year I bought $30 in silver to buy 1 glow set, the others were bright dust. The remaining 2200 silver is still on my account. I'm not confident that my purchases will be useful in the future. Every time I look in eververse I feel scammed.
Welcome to the latest edition of 🌙 Selene's Tidings🌙! Today’s topic is the third of eight Sabbat Informational Posts that will be a part of the Selene's series of discussions.
Throughout the year, we will be posting up these threads to share general information about the next upcoming sabbat so WvP's witches, new and old, can prepare for the holiday. These posts will contain basic information about the holiday and open up for the floor for further questions or discussion.
Midsummer (or Litha, pronounced LEETH-ah) is one of the eight sabbats of the modern pagan Wheel of the Year. It is one of the "lesser sabbats", meaning that it is based around either an equinox or a solstice. The others are Mabon (Autumnal Equinox), Yule (Winter Solstice), and Ostara (Spring Equinox). There's a section that goes into the history... keep reading on reddit ➡
Is this a typo or something? Is it any arc super final blows? Straight guardian kills is ridiculous. It would take a solid 30 matches, consistently getting 5 kills with your super. I noticed that my friend, who is a titan, only needs solar melee final blows. So is this really the objective, or just a visual bug?
As we found out, while most of the new armor is fully recolorable, half of the gold portions on the robes, cloak, and mark of the 2020 Solstice of Heroes armor is uncolorable - and these gold portions happen to be a very particular gold that doesn't play nice with most shaders. Many folks, myself included, are pretty bummed out about that. But fear not! We can still work with this. Because of how recent it is, I decided to make a separate post for this from the tips compilation list, and I'll be appending some of this to that list here shortly.
As a disclaimer: I've yet to complete any of the Solstice armor, so I'm doing this based on the preview. Please disregard how the other armor pieces look with the Solstice armor. Also, due to the graphical glitching with the Titan mark when inspecting it (I don't know if that's a "my GPU's boutta kick the bu... keep reading on reddit ➡
