Obviously this stems from Anthony Edwards posterizing Yuta. Holy shit, that is one of the most spectacular poster dunks I have seen in my life.
That being said, why do fans clown a player so much for getting posterized? Shouldn't it be more disgraceful for being too scared to contest a dunk?
For you nephews and idiots who like to just repeat the same catchphrases like "rIp, cArEER eNDed, etc". I know it's hard but just try to think about it rationally.
When you get postered, at least you are showing enough courage to defend the play. Yeah you might get put on a highlight reel but at least you actually made an effort.
It should be even more embarrassing when a player ostensibly opts out of defending a dunk because they are afraid to get dunked on. They are literally too scared to even make a play. How is that not more embarassing?
Being dunked on is part of the game if you are actually trying to stop the other player. There shouldn't be any shame in that.
For the record, I do not mind the banter or trash talk but the hate has gone way too far on Yuta's social media. If you are one of those idiots spamming hate towards him or an NBA player because they are on the wrong end of a play, you should take a long look in the mirror and re-evaluate your life. How pathetic of a loser do you have to be to spam hate at another person.
Let's be honest here, I'm sure many of us were actually looking forward to interacting with the playable characters when the Lantern Rite rolled around.
But... nope. MHY decide to make us do fetch quests 23 times for random NPCs I'm sure 99% of us will never remember their names.
It was cool at the start, I actually liked the first few quests because they had decent storylines but once when we unlocked the last 5 quests I just started to feel this sense of dread settling in my heart. The longer I did the quest, the more I want to cry because who the fuck are these people? WHERE ARE THE LIYUE CHARACTERS?
Especially the showdown between the poet and the painter who we helped retrieved paintbrushes once. I don't even know what the ending is, or who won because I spammed my left mouse button repeatedly wishing for this nightmare to end. And I really don't care about that story.
We have so many playable characters, with so many stories and lore revolving around them. So why are we being dogs for this nameless NPCs?
MHY, if your budget is low, you don't even have to record voicelines for the character quests. They can be on full mute and I would still be happy. I want to see Xingqiu & Chongyun interacting. They are best friends in the lore aren't they? So why can't you give us a quest where they talk to each other and ask us for help?
How about Beidou jamming to Xinyan's rock concert?
What does Zhongli thinks of the Lantern Rite? It is probably his first Lantern Rite now that he is no longer Rex Lapis the Geo Archon, but just Zhongli the mortal. I want to know what he thinks.
More importantly, Xiao. You make us watch this yaksha sit on the ground as a sea of lanterns ascend over him with a look of awe on his face, yet we do not know what he thinks about it. And we'll never know.
MHY had potential to include Qiqi in the Herbalist Gui quest, but played it off as her being lost while collecting herbs. WELL LET US HELP QIQI COLLECT HERBS THEN?
Also, not forgetting the injustice that Xiangling receives, claiming that she is doing deliveries. I don't mind Food Delivery 2.0, at least we'll do it with/for Xiangling this time.
If Mondstadt's Ludi Harpstum is going to be like this, fetch quests for nameless NPCs, what's the point in making it open world and writing lore for characters?
TLDR: Lantern Rite bad. No interaction with playable characters, only nameless NPCs. Please tell MHY before Ludi Harpstum rolls around.
edit: i actually did enjoy theatre

##If you haven't noticed, all eyes are on /r/wallstreetbets right now and a certain narrative is being pushed around to make it seem as if this community is disorderly and reckless. What I think is happening is that you guys are making such an impact that these fat cats are worried that they have to get up and put in work to earn a living.
##Some of these guys traditionally used the media as a tool for them to manipulate the market have failed to further line their pockets and now want to accuse you guys as being manipulators. This is complete nonsense because ALL content in /r/wallstreetbets is organic, created only by its users. You guys choose what you like and do what you want to do as individuals.
##There is NO organized effort by those us who moderate this community to promote, advise or recommend any stock. It is against our policy to do so and we feel it is crucial to allow members to be able to share their ideas amongst each other with autonomy.
##The only time we intervene is when we notice any unscrupulous characters appear thinking they can take advantage of our members. We do our best to identify them quickly and remove them from our community.
##There have been accusations of some inappropriate conduct coming from this community. These are baseless accusations as I have not seen any evidence of this taking place here. You guys know better but I'm going to say it anyway for those who have only recently joined this community that we don't do that stuff here.
##People like to talk shit about you when you're a winner, it just comes with the territory. The way a winner responds is by keeping your head up high and enjoy living rent-free inside the minds of those who doubted you. They'll stare you down as you walk by them with a smile as wide as the sky. You don't even notice them because you're too busy basking in all the glorious tendies you've made. They hate that you played by the rules and still won.
##That fuzzy sensation you are feeling is called RESPECT and it is well earned. Wall Street no longer dismisses your presence anymore. The smart ones know that you guys do things differently and will adapt in ways to accommodate you and how you as the next generation want things done. You should all be proud of yourselves.
#Your time is now.
##On behalf of the Mod team,
#Make that money and be the change you want to see.
This probably wonβt get anywhere and I donβt care, even if one person sees this, I am proud to be a part of this piece of history with you. I donβt know who you are or where you live or what your living situation is like or why the fuck we havenβt sold for massive tendies yet, but I do know that this isnβt about money anymore. Itβs about proving a point.
Call it an opportunity, call it revenge, or justice, I know we are on the right side of this. Iβm proud to be holding next to you fellow brothers and sisters in arms. I will not sell. I will hold until Melvin and Citron and any other fucker who think that they can get away from the inevitable by using dirty tactics and mis-information to de platform us fails at their own game.
But they fucked up. The mods here got shit cleaned up and fixed in a fuckin amazing amount of time because theyβre apart of this too, this community of fucking freedom fighters, stone cold killers, average fucking joes who are staring these hedge fund βeXpErTsβ in the face and saying βStonks only go upβ and wonβt sell until they bleed them dry.
Itβs an honor to be with you.
To the fucking Moon. GME πππππ
Iβll see all of yβall on the lunar surface. Drinks on me

It has been just over one week since Valheim released and the game has already reached over 340k players on steam. For reference, it took PUBG nearly 4 months to reach 340k on steam. It took CS:GO nearly 2 and a half years to reach this mark. This is by far the highest player count ever reached by any survival game on steam, let alone one made by an indie studio.
Also, I don't think I have ever seen a game reach the top 5 on steam and maintain 96% positive reviews. I honestly expected this figure to drop over time as more and more people try the game, but it has only gone up.
