For those who don't know, many people, including myself, vividly remember the abominable snowman in Rankin and bass's Rudolph being aggressive because of a toothache, that the elf guy fixes.
This version doesn't exist. Nothing of the sort can be found anywhere, except for 100s of posts about people confused as to why the bumble didn't have a toothache anymore.
Like I said I'm very skeptical of the whole metaphysics discussion in this sub but that one I truly can't explain. I remember it.
Yeti still insists on doing it.
I donβt care who you are or how old you are if you destroy someoneβs snowman for no reason other than you want to- youβre an asshole. If youβre a parent and you let your child (no matter how young) destroy someone elseβs snowman- youβre an asshole. Being young doesnβt give you the right to destroy stuff.
Update: did not expect this to take off so much, loving the comments though π
Update II: wow lol, I want to add that this is not in reference to the story about some guy getting fired for kicking a snowman. Until someone linked the article in the comments, I had no idea about that. I saw kids push over a snowman today while their parents stood there laughing about it- thatβs why inspired this post. (Hence why I reference kids and adults in the post) Just weirdly coincidental timing I guess. Also, for those of you that think itβs not a big deal- you didnβt put it in the time and effort to make it so you donβt get to decide how important it is. If you want to smash one, build one and smash it. You as the creator can decide yours is unimportant enough to smash, but itβs not your place to make that decision about someone elseβs creation/work. Itβs a very entitled view to think you can destroy someone elseβs hard work for no reason. Also my official vote is yes, sandcastles count too for all the same reasons.
