I made a post earlier asking about snowboarding and drugs. Decided not to head yβallβs warnings and took 3 mg of Xanax and went to the terrain park. Please do not do this, your balance gets fucked and you WILL NOT LAND the 40 foot jumps your bartard brain thinks you will. Do not and I repeat do NOT take Xanax and go snowboarding, you will hurt yourself more than you think you can.

so i was enjoying my breakfast and i hear my gate opening and i see EK run across my yard and grab one of my snowboards and i run outside with my biggest knives (i wasn't gonna use it) and yelled "PUT THE DAMN THING BACK". EM hears me and says "DON'T YOU FUCKING DARE YELL AT MY PRECIOUS DAUGHTER". I said your "your precious daughter was trying to steal my snowboard". then EK says
"you have two you don't need two snowboards since your dad is dead he can't use one if he is dead. now i am thinking of using the knife but i stay calm and i rip the board from EK's grip and i wish that is where it ended. so 5 minute later i hear police sirens and i come out of the house all confused and EM says "that's him he's the one that stole my precious' snowboard" and my AN came out after she fed the officer lies that he believed and my AN and showed him a recording of what happened
long story short:brat comes in my yard tries to steal my snowboard EM yells at me EK brings back sad memory cops show up EM feeds officer lies neighbor shows recording of EK trying to take one of my boards and

These are my goals from last year (did 39 days on snow; over the years done ~100 days total) and always looking to improve. I havenβt ticked all the boxes yet but getting there! I like to still get lessons every season just to perfect my technique, then I write down everything I learnt so I donβt forget. Also hoping to get my level 1 and instruct this year π

... keep reading on reddit β‘Looks like they fell out of a ski rack. I picked them up before someone ended up driving over them.
If you can provide me some identifiable (color, make, etc.) I'm happy to coordinate returning them to you!
Hope the powder was epic yesterday :)
Edit: Just checked this thread for the first time since posting. Thanks for the support, suggestions, and for sharing. I've added my post in KSL below. Will follow up on some other suggestions.
I just need a app or something else to take the icons and upload to me use, anyone can help me with this?
Hi Guys,
Hoping you might be able to give me a hand with this, I am relatively new to skiing, but not new to the mountain. I've been wanting to make the transition from snowboarding to skiing for some time now, or at least make my skiing skills comparable to my snowboard skill. I am a quick learner, I THINK that I know what I want in a ski, but want to just run this by strangers on reddit to see if they might have an opinion.
Main area of skiing is the midwest, smaller mountain, often icy, but not always. The UP of Michigan is sometimes a place I go so it is possible to get off the groomers. The big thing I also want though, is for the ski to also excel for when I make my yearly trip 'west' and get to encounter great off-piste skiing, through resort pow, tracked out crud & maintaining the fun factor and ease of riding. I have friends this year that really struggled on the off-piste at Targree and Jackson with their stiff hard charging sticks (Volkl Mantra M5's, but maybe they just weren't used to off-piste), and I really don't want that to be the case with these skis. I'm not extremely concerned with deep pow performance, as if I get blasted with snow while out west, I will likely just be snowboarding on it.
So having said that, I think what I need is a light, more on the forgiving side, easy to turn/pivot ski, that is still considered playful, but still has enough support on groomers to grow my abilities into.
All I see all over the place is propaganda regarding the Nordica Enoforcer 94 or last years 93, but I also see reports of other skis like the Blizzard Rustler (most likely the 9 version) being more 'fun' or 'playful' at the expense of hard charging performance. I am willing to make this compromise. Also looking at the Head Kore 93's, Black Crows Camox, Possibly Elan Ripstick? Am I on the right track here? I've made the mistake many before with snowboards thinking I need WAY more snowboard than I actually needed, which resulted in me buying stiff planks that did not suit my riding ability & style (turns out I am not Travis Rice). Thanks.
