my JNMIL tried to get my husband to sneak our kids into her house behind my back during a strict lockdown. We had already told her multiple times we were taking this very seriously and even started our isolation a week before the government restrictions went into effect. It feels like she thinks I have a gun to his head about isolating when in reality he wanted to isolate even sooner than I did. She has a long history of assuming I am forcing his choices anytime we make a decision she wouldnβt make herself.
She had asked my husband to come pick up some gifts off of her porch so he went with the kids (aged 3 & 1) and so I could have an hour home alone (pandemic parenting at its finest) and later on he tells me she was pretty aggressive in trying to get them to come inside. She isnβt too worried about this virus and I donβt have any issues with people handling this pandemic differently than us but I have major issues with anyone who disrespects how we are choosing to keep our family safe. She repeatedly said things like βyour son wonβt tell, will he?β βyour son wonβt tell on us right?β and my husband finally had to tell her outright βno. Weβre not coming in.β
Now while still illegal it would be one thing to say βyou can come in if you want.β but to actively try to get my husband and child to lie to me is a major overstep and I let her know that I was upset, that she is free to handle this pandemic however she wishes but she has no right to disrespect how we are choosing to handle things. She is not sorry and avoiding me entirely now. This is just one of many many incidents with her and I donβt know how to tolerate this level is disrespect for the rest of our lives. Me standing up for myself seems to mean nothing at the moment. Open to any advice, even if itβs harsh. Am I in the wrong here?

(I wrote this for a different subreddit, so that's why there's so much backstory on the Naturium shit.)
Yes, this post is long as fuck. I got TIME tahDAY.
I watch a lot of skincare channels on YouTube, and it feels like every week thereβs a new CLOWN attempting to sneak Susan Yara and/or her shitty brand Naturium back into the publicβs good graces. Right at this moment, Kelly Driscoll is GLUED to her chair refreshing her latest video so that she can instantly delete any comment that criticizes her decision to promote the brand. I think sheβs only let three mildly disappointed comments prosper. Maybe sheβs trying to compete with Susan Yaraβs quickness to delete pro-Black Lives Matter posts in her Facebook group (and then attempt to gaslight everyone into believing that they definitely didnβt see it happen).
Since drama channels primarily focus on the makeup side of beauty gurus, maybe these idiots feel like they can get away with these antics and not have anybody notice. Well, until Teaspill, Peter Monn, Here for the Tea, Nick Snider, etc. realize that they need to be keeping an eye on these skincare βgurus,β Iβm going to call them out over here. These bitches truly ainβt SHIT. They donβt care about their supporters; they care about maintaining good relationships with big influencers who can be beneficial to them in the future.
Iβll explain who Susan Yara is and why she the worst in this post, but first Iβm calling out:
It isn't cute and I'm tired of chasing you away with a broom. Please respect this daily event and the cats that use this time to wind down. Besides, the menu is not catered for you.
Human hours at The Half Barrel are from 6pm-10pm, and 11pm-1am. We have twelve non-alcoholic beers on tap and half-off Burley Temples every Monday and Thursday. Thanks.
When I was thinking about multiclassing Rogue with my Armorer Artificer, I realized something - Sneak Attack always deals the damage type of the weapon used, and since the Armorer's Lightning Launcher deals lightning damage, Sneak Attack would deal lighting damage as well. And the Tempest Cleric's channel divinity can maximize lightning and thunder damage, which would apply to a lightning or thunder-typed Sneak Attack just like it applies to spells.
After some more theorycrafting, I came up with the build of Soul Knife (or Assassin) Rogue 13 / Order of Scribes Wizard 5 / Tempest Cleric 2. It might not deal the most damage possible, but it is frighteningly effective, considering unlike some crazy theorycrafting builds, it does not require any setup, and it just needs a short rest to regain the Channel Divinity to be back to full effectiveness.
For our assassination attempt, we're going to cast Shadow Blade at level 3. The Order of Scribes's awakened spellbook allows us to change Shadow Blade's damage type, but only to the damage type of another spell of the same level the original spell was cast at. Because we have Thunder Step in our spellbook, we can change Shadow Blade's damage type to Thunder. This means our Sneak Attack deals thunder damage as well.
To add some more thunder damage, we're going to use Booming Blade for our attack.
This means, we're going to deal 3d8+dex (Shadow Blade)+3d8 (Booming Blade) + 7d6 Sneak Attack damage, which we can max out to 95 or to 185 on a critical hit. And we just needed a bonus action to cast our Shadow Blade, no further set-up required.
If we choose a Bugbear as our race, we can deal another 2d6 thunder damage on our attack thanks to Surprise Attack, which equals 24 thunder damage on a critical hit; Wood Elf on the other hand makes us even better at sneaking thanks to access to Pass without Trace vial Wood Elf Magic, and prevents any nonmagical attempts of tracking us down. Also more movement speed always is nice to have.
Metamagic Adept for Subtle Spell helps as well, allowing us to silently cast Shadow Blade and Booming Blade for an even better surprise. Also it is good to know that actually neither thunder damage in general nor Booming Blade specificially create audible sound.
Access to Misty Step (or even Dimension Door if we change our split to Wizard 7 /Rogue 11) us to teleport into our poor victim's room in the inn to assassinate them during sleep. We are a stealth expert, Nondetection hides us
... keep reading on reddit β‘Hagrid could have just put Norbert into a crate, brought it to Hogsmeade and made the exchange. Hagrid doesn't have curfew. He can come and go at any time he likes, including after hours. And people wouldn't have thought it too strange that the Hogwarts groundskeeper is lugging around a large crate. Or else Charlie's friends could have flown directly to Hagrid's cottage.
