Recently I swapped out my drumkit in the studio. This is a Stone Custom Drum Maple/Poplar kit 8x12, 12x14, 14x16, 17x20 with an Oriollo Hammered Copper 5.75x14 snare. First metal drum. Seems to ring more than my old wood one. Ludwig black beauty millennium. 10lug 14x6.5 die cast hoops. Any tips on reducing the ring without baffling? Currently have the snare head tighter than the batter (so the ring makes sense) but I do like where it's sitting sonically.

Been drumming 20+ years. Just recently became interested in edrums. Feeling my Alesis Nitro Mesh with some tweaks. Using Roland TD-10 triggers on a 10" snare and 14" floor tom on Evans Soundoff mesh heads and modded one of the toms to work as kick drum. So far, so good. reddit.com/gallery/lsc60i

Alesis Nitro snare and bass not working with Spitfire drums

Hi all. I was just interested in using Spitfire drums with my Alesis kit since the module sounds are pretty bad. I got it all set up however the snare and bass were not working. I tried remapping the midi in the module and I WAS able to get a sound but very inconsistently. Most of the time it would not sound.

I tried switching the cable of the bass drum pad with a tom and it triggers the tom sound so its not the pad itself thats the problem.

Does anyone know a fix for this? Still very new to all this VST and DAW and MIDI stuff.

Am I the only one that noticed the "St Anger" type snare drums on I Disappear way too late?

I listened to I Disappear for over 50 times and just recently I discovered that the snare drum sounds pretty much the same as on St Anger and I love it. (I'm a fan of the St Anger snare drum, but the production on it is pretty bad)

Lefty Pro drums crash + snare glitch

I'm playing pro drums on lefty flip in RB4 on PS4, and I always miss crash+snare combos, so I wasn't that surprised to see this was a somewhat common issue.

I'm guessing this is something I should just never expect to be fixed, or what?

I noticed the same thing on Wii Rock Band 3 with the midi-pro adapter, funny enough. I also seem to be able to kinda get around it by playing them at slightly different times, but that is really annoying to actually do consistently compared to it just working.

**Edit: Roll Limitless does fix this apparently, mine was just set up wrong or I screwed it up or something. If your RL still has this glitch pressing L1+Square -> L1+Circle -> L1+X fixed it for me.
