Y'all I do not even know how this works and that's why I'm here.
I receive so much mail. We are on some sort of list. I can tell it's all the same list because they've got my husband's name wrong. Like if instead of Robert, they put Bobby, but he goes by Rob. Everytime we receive it I think who the hell is Bobby? Recently I've started opening the letters. I discovered that they contained offers to send us mailing lists so that we could send our own mass mailings.
Just send them $5 (or whatever) and we too could have 100 names to harass with stuffed envelopes of circulars. Mostly that's been it, just offers to let us buy into the list.
The most recent one contains multiple weird photocopies of flyer advertisements. On of the ads is for a report on "Current Companies That Will Buy Junk Mail." It has bizarre extra cut out ads tucked in. One is for a "FREE X-RATED ITEM" that is "Strictly Potluck." It also has coupons in it! Just a few. One of them is for burger king.
So my real ques... keep reading on reddit ➡
Hi folks! I recently stumbled upon r/penpals on one of my 'can't sleep, lets explore the wonderland of subreddits' stints and thought it sounded like a great idea! So here I am! In a nutshell, I adore gaming (mostly of the RPG variety), music (listening to and playing the piano), films (huge Studio Ghibli fan), and reading.
I'm essentially just your run of the mill geek. With boobs.
Any international folks welcome of either gender. So yes, message me here or PM me if you fancy it!
Edit: this is a throwaway account for those wondering. I didn't fancy posting here on my main account out of fear of weirdos/stalkers/murderers/TheFBI etc etc
This is my link for you to fill out my questionnaire. I love to draw, write, and create. I would love to create something for you! Please let me know what you'd like?
I don't have any stamps, atm, so I am drawing - like a madwoman, and will send a whole hoopla of cards when I have postage! Thank you!
UPDATE - 8/4: So many of you have responded! That's great! I look forward to being able to send love. By all means, as long as this is up - I'm happy to send cards out to all that request! :)
We're not kitten around, u/TravellinCat's been doing more zoomies round the globe than dogs!
Meowhussive Congratulations on that shiny, purrfect bronze bad boy!
Gaze upon it's glory and enjoy feline good!
Goodness, hello there.
I was wondering if anyone would consider sending a card to provide a sad surgeon with some joy. I have been so sad recently.
My work environment is completely toxic and overwhelming, and I’m not even talking about the deadly disease or demanding, frequently abusive, patients.
My colleagues have succeeded enormously in ostracising me from the rest of my peer group, and despite terrible urges to quit both the job and the greater universe for nearly a year, I’m still here.
I welcome any random acts: poetry, quotes, stories, jokes, facts, lyrics, doodles, anything.
I have been preparing my own little packs for r/randomactsofmail (as per #rule3) but there’s not quite enough to offer yet, and I’m a bit desperate for any meaningful contact. There are only so may times one can burden ones friends.
I like: learning, wicked humour, musicals, board games, walking, Lego, reading 2nd hand books, campaigning for climate activism, cheese - to name but a few things.... keep reading on reddit ➡
Last month I spent a lot of postage to send mail to my family members and not a single person replied or they texted me saying they received my letter.. Gee thanks.
So I have decided to look for real pen pals that will answer. I send multiple pages and postcards but emails are also great! I like decorating and using stickers, I have an obsession with stationery. So expect a really fun letter to open.
I love reading, I have a youtube channel, drinking tea, tv and film, bullet journalling. I just started my weightloss journey so encouragement would be amazing! I can be pretty funny but also a great empathizer if needed.
Anyway, I am not sure what else to say to get this ball rolling so let me know if you would like a letter from me or to send a letter to me!
Like many people here, I'd like to have a snail-mail penpal. But (and I hope this is OK?), I have a very specific type I'm hoping for. This will give you an idea.
The letters I hope to receive should be:
I've been lucky to have got a few great pen pals out of this sub that I am still in regular contact with, but with school returning next month, I'm looking for a few more that could act as a bit of a respite when the workload gets a bit heavy in the coming months. Anybody, of any gender or nationality, around about my age would be dearly appreciated.
I'm a 20 year old from Scotland, going into my final year of studying economics. Please don't hesitate to begin a conversation with the things you've heard about Scotland, it's always exciting to find out what other people know about your wee country! I also love when people share an interesting thing that makes their town or city unique/interesting, so that's another good conversation starter.

Recently I received a book in the mail some of you may be familiar with called "Changed" by Tom Cantor. After some brief research into the subject I found that he's a "Jew for Jesus" that runs a church and a non-profit aimed at proselytizing Jews. Most of the articles I saw say that the subjects of the proselytizing were approached by "missionaries" to Jewish neighborhoods arriving in church vans, going door to door to try to gain members. I received one of their books about the founders cringy conversion (uses the word "defiled" quite a bit) in the mail recently. I rent a room in a predominantly Christian neighborhood and have no direct affiliation to any Jewish organizations. My roomates didn't receive the book, so how did they know I was Jewish? I'm pretty uncomfortable being targeted like this, but fully realize it's in the realm of possibility for our current times. Anyways, anyone have any information on this or similar experiences? Be safe out there

I'm looking for snail mail pen pals. I think there is something amazing about getting mail and I'd love to exchange letters/postcards/greeting cards. I'm limiting myself to the US because it's cheaper (sorry).
Feel free to DM me if you want to talk and we can exchange addresses.
Reposting because I either lost everyone that had wanted to write to me (my Inbox was decimated) or have yet to receive a letter! So always looking for more!
I’m new to Reddit. I found out there was a Typewriter and Penpals subreddit, so now I’m here.
As the title says, I’m seeking penpals for companionship! Let’s be friends. Snail/Email/Messaging
This is what I look like. Sort of. It’s far away:
I don’t particularly have any requirements as to who you should be, but I’d prefer someone 18+ just so we have more in common in regards to life experiences.
I live part time in the US, and part time in Europe. Though I’m currently in the US due to ~The Virus™️~, but am fine writing internationally! When in the US, I reside in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, and also Portland, Oregon. In Europe I reside in Berlin, Germany but (usually) spend summers in Paris.
This year I have spent my entire summer on my sofa. Exhilarating, I know.

Hello! I am working on straying away from social media and I am hoping to start a friendship via pen and paper.
A little about me:
-I work as a caregiver for a private family. Funny enough, I went to school for advertising but here I am! -I am newly married and have a dog and a cat. I would love to exchange pet photos with any other pet parents out there. -I enjoy cooking and baking. I can't say that I am fantastic at either of them but I try my best! Recipe exchanges are always a plus :) -I just started hiking and walking more during quarantine. -Speaking of quarantine, I have spent WAY too much time playing Animal Crossing over the past few months. I also enjoy playing cards and board games. My husband and I love playing 500 and Catan. -I love music of all kinds. Spotify knows me better than I know myself. -I like watching sports... specifically football and basketball. I usually partake in Fantasy Football every year. -My husband and I always talk about traveling (even with... keep reading on reddit ➡
Hello there! I am a twenty-four year old male (gay if that matters to you) that is looking for some pen pals! I'm not looking for romance or anything like that, just some friends to write to and talk about life with! I have a wide variety of interests including; music, movies, Netflix, writing, and history. I can listen to any type of music, but tend to listen to a lot of 90s music. My favorite movie and book is the Perks of Being a Wallflower. American Horror Story and the Umbrella Academy are my favorite series. History is my favorite subject, and I am particularly fascinated with British and Medieval history. My name is June-Rose, i’m 16 years old & from the UK! I’d love to have a penpal I would decorate all my letters or postcards (whichever you’d prefer to have) & make them very pretty for you! I absolutely love disney movies and the marvel franchise. I collect crystals and vinyls as i am a music fanatic :) I love soul music & 90-00s rnb, literally all genres! So we could talk about that :) If you wanted I could tell you a bit more about myself and my interests and personal life or just random facts! anyways I hope you have a wonderful day & let me know if you’d be interested in being my new friend! <3
i really like talking to people but i cant keep up with constant texting for hours on end, especially if its more than one person. So what i propose is this: virtual snail mail!
Basically its the same as any conversation between Internet strangers / friends but less frequent. like, we send a long and detailed message once or twice a day, maybe once every other day about our days and anything you want to talk about. Its hard on here to maintain a conversation because if i go back to my life thats not online for even 10 minutes, some people assume ive ghosted or aren't interested and leave. which, is completely fine (just a tad annoying, since i dont have excess hours to dedicate to conversation anymore with work and uni and all that jazz)
so if you're interested, here is a bit about me:
I'm 19F and my time zone is GMT. My interests include: science, music, art, nature, animals (yes those are very broad topics, i know... but i cant give away too much information just now, can i?). i... keep reading on reddit ➡

My name is Lena, I'm 20 years old with 20 years of experience (haha) and from Belgium. I am looking for snail mail penpals. Age or location don't really matter, the only "restriction" that I have is that it would be nice if you would be willing to write the first letter.
A bit more about myself?... I live in Antwerp, which is the second largest city of Belgium, situated in the North of the country. I have a boyfriend and an 11-year-old son. I am a lecturer at the law faculty of the University of Leuven. In my free time I enjoy a lot of (creative) activities such as taking care of my constantly growing collection of house plants, reading, making costumes, painting, collage art and all kinds of alternative/analogue photography (cyanotype, Van Dyke, pinhole...). I enjoy writing letters and have been into penpalling since I was 11 years old. As for music I like new wave, old school goth and darker eighties.

I’ve started this project, Wabi (https://meetwabi.com), to help people stop physical junk mail, get back control of your life, and ultimately reduce the waste and protect our beautiful Mother Earth.
“Is there a way to unsubscribe all the junk mail?”, I asked myself when I saw a pile of coupons, catalogs, and mails in our living room. Then I started researching online, turns out there are ways to do that but are incredibly time-consuming. I want to build a platform that can help people not just reduce mails but eventually reduce stuff they don’t need, physically and mentally, and enjoy a simpler life.
Currently, Wabi has been used successfully by hundreds of people and saved thousands of trees and counting. I want to invite all of you to join us and try it out. Feel free to leave a comment or PM me if you have any questions and suggestions. Thanks a lot, and let’s make this world a better place!

Bad movies (like The Room), bad webseries (like Nyan Neko Sugar Girls), weird games (I unironically love Hatoful Boyfriend). But most importantly, I love true crime! Today, my husband received a letter addressed to him with no return address but the postage mark was from the city where Betty works. I opened it up, and inside was a post it that said, "FYI, Anonymous" and a typed letter. The letter was addressed to her doctor/therapist with the name whited out, and signed by Betty with her last name whited out, and then her initials underneath.
Now, a few things to note. The letter wasn't about us, but rather was about her shortcomings with her mother. In fact, many phrases and sentences from this letter she has repeated numerous times in the past, which is how we sort of know when she is going manic. She says the same things over and over and over trying to convince everyone else that she is right and they are wrong.
I have no idea why she blacked out her own last name and her doctor's name?
Also, we know she sent it to us and wrote the note (or had someone else write the post it) because it came from the post office near her work. No one else... keep reading on reddit ➡
Hi guys! I've been a lurker here for a long time 🙈 I thought I'd try my luck here. Sooo... I'm looking for a snail mail pen pal 😁
I've had pen pals for a few years now and I love it, but I'd really like a fellow wlw to write with! You know, just someone who gets it 😅

Hi there! I am looking for snail mail or email pals. I would prefer snail mail because I have a lot of stamps I need to use. Age and gender identity do not matter. Like most, I've been stuck at home for work during this time of global pandemic and I miss interaction with other human beings. I mean, I still text and talk to people and occasionally see friends while doing the whole social distancing thing, but it's still doesn't hit the same way. I exchange postcards via postcrossing, but those are like one and done, no regular correspondence. I like to write, that's why I blog and journal. I like traveling and talking about the places I've been. I like hearing about places others have been. I like reading. I like watching way too much TV and movies and whatever.

Hello! I love making art and receiving it. I check my mailbox every day and my friends just aren’t as addicted to snail mail as me. I honestly care less about the actual letter writing and more about getting something fun and pretty in the mail instead of bills. I am pretty busy with work and my two dogs but I’m lonely in the time of corona. I’m strictly looking for friends and mail. I love LPOTL, printmaking, My Favorite Murder, and I’m currently binging on Supernatural. Usually I draw and write when I watch tv. I’d prefer to talk to women of any age, cause we get what each other are going through.
I've been wanting a written letter penpal for a little while and with how everyone is buying stamps to support USPS lately, now seems like a good time to find one! I figured I would ask here before I headed over to the penpals subreddit just because it's always cool to meet other trans dudes.
A little about myself: I'm 20 years old and I'm currently going to university for Studio Art. I like to draw, play video games, and play bass. I'm really, really interested in music and it may be fun to recommend each other albums each time we send letters! I have a very diverse music taste and will listen to just about anything (but metal music is my favorite). I also enjoy animation and cartoons, if that's a topic that interests anyone. I'm also really into dinosaurs, I love learning about them and talking about them, and on top of that I'm just interested in animals in general. I love learning about animals, any kind, and I especially love learning about birds.

I have already sent a good amount of letters in the past few months, but what can I say, I'm impatient. I would love to penpal with anyone who wants to receive long-winded, rambling letters along with whatever random trinkets I have on hand - any age and gender is fine by me :)

I enjoy being outdoors, I hunt and fish, gardening, and I like to cycle. I like cooking and trying to make new things. I'm a bit of a nerd and a know it all.
Hey. I have had a couple of snail mail people before and they always taper off. I used to write to prisoners for awhile when I was younger but got out of the habit.
My boyfriend of two years was living with me at the start of the lockdown and straight away when the lock down was lifted slightly he was out the door.

I'm currently reading Sidhartha by Herman Hesse. I used to read all the time but recently it hasn't been much of a thing. I like to read poetry, irish stuff, things written in accents, gritty stories about actual human beings, things about Zen...

I also study American literature (particularly 20th century American lit) and music theory. I play the violin in my college's orchestra and another student-run chamber group.
My other interests include a whole lot of crafting, I know how to knit, crochet, embroider, cross-stitch, and have dabbled in spinning and dyeing my own yarn. I also like to read a lot, obviously a lot of Russian and American lit, but I reall... keep reading on reddit ➡

A friend of my has two brother-in-laws who are locked up in Texas and need pen pals. They're both super nice guys from what i can tell (i'll be sending them some mail too). One is 28 and the other is 31.
If you're interested in writing, let me know and I can give you more info and details.
Hey! I'm Emily. I love the idea of sending a nice letter with my stories about my general life to a person. My hobbies are drawing, reading, hiking and playing Ukulele or Banjo. I love history, I guess it's my way to escape my daily life if I read about roman emporers, greek philosophers or mighty crusader kings, and I like retelling their stories.
So if you're looking for a penpal who sends aesthetic letters with a little gift like a drawing or something and who likes to receive cute letters back, I'd love it if you comment below!
I don't have any other requirements, I can send letters in English or German, I can speak a bit french but feel more secure in the other languages.
u/peglegmegxx thank you so much for you positive postcard! It really made me smile.
u/tats76 I love the fun facts postcard, but your little story was hilarious , thank you.
u/gigi700gigi thank you for the Rochester postcard, I have to admit, as a foodie, the Garbage Plate sounds delightful and I’m not ashamed to admit it.
u/travellincat thank you for another great postcard, the stamps are gorgeous!! I love the floral sticker too, hope your having a great Friday !
u/cecemarie thank you so much for the great card. I’m still waiting for the seafood restaurants to open but seared halibut is right up my ally.
u/jamiesayss thank you for the Bob Burgers recipe card, I so relate to Tina!!
u/desrae2002 thank you for the polar bear postcard, it’s very unique. I’ve have seen polar bears at the Bronx Zoo, they are stunning to see.
Mystery sender, thank you for the black and white doggie postcard with the sweet message.
I'm new to this and I'm looking for someone to exchange physical letters with. I'm back in school for a career switch into computer science. A few of my hobbies are hiking, camping, video games (playing and developing), cooking, sports, and my 1 year old corgi puppy. My myers briggs type is INFJ if that matters.
I always look for depth in my relationships. I'm the type of person that would rather have a few really good friends than a bunch of friends and acquaintances. I can engage in small talk, especially when meeting new people, but I need to find some depth otherwise it's difficult for me to stay engaged.
Aside from looking for new friends, I'm actually really interested in hearing everyone's story, so I'll be asking a lot of questions. I'm generally a curious person. Of course this should be a given, but I'm only looking for a platonic friendship, I've been happily married for 3 years now.
Edit: Found a few, no longer looking, thanks!
Hey everyone! I'm looking for some new snail mail penpals.
I am 27 and work in academic publishing. I have my BA in creative writing and have minors in womens studies. In non COVID times I enjoy concerts -- mostly punk rock, going to breweries with my friends, browsing bookstores, hanging out in coffee shops or libraries. I am working on a novel (though I haven't touched it a lot lately), and I also read a lot (mostly literary fiction mixed with nonfiction memoirs and I've also developed a huge love for graphic novels!). I also really love documentaries and cooking!
I would really love to find some long term penpals who have similar interests. I also studies abroad in Belfast and would love to find some friends from Northern Ireland! I have a couple of post cards around so I can shoot out a quick few intros soon! :)
u/mermaidisaster thank you so much for the gorgeous Halloween card, I love the design, so creative!! I love a fancy coffee today but don’t get them too often.
u/tigerlady13 I love the beautiful Rose Hamilton postcard! Thank you I have never been to Hoh Valley but it’s definitely on the bucket list !
u/plumforestpod thank you so much for the lucky cat postcard! I hope it works ! But yes I’m staying safe and happy , I hope you are also!
u/Travellincat x 2 thank you so much for avenger cat! It’s the cutest! I think I have to get the Nightmare Before Christmas set the artist has , it’s so cute. Thank you for the cute little letter , I miss the old Library cards, and also, I’m a washi addict as well lol
u/dwrfstr thank you for the up cycled postcard , it’s adorable but now I want wings , I haven’t been to Buffalo in so long and you know, wings anywhere else no not compare. I really hope you make it down to NYC again when things improve.
u/AvocadoH4t3r thank you so much for the cute... keep reading on reddit ➡
I am a PhD student. I want to have long-lasting snail mail friends. Normally, talking about religion, politics or etc. is unpleasant in western culture, but I prefer to say my views freely. I am Turkic nationalist. My religion is Tengrism. I am also liberal for economics and social life. If you want to know more, don't hesitate to ask. And I also add that I got my bachelor degree in US, but now I live Ankara because for me it is better to live in my own country. I just desire to find new foreign friends to exchange new opinions. I don't have any age or gender (or of course, nation) restrictions. If you want to talk a guy, who has a rational world-view, you can write to me. I am not a politically correct guy. I guess, it is enough to say more. I am here to wait for you.
Hello!! My name is Ira, I’m in PA. I love keeping myself busy and I would love to make new friends with snail mail. I have an Etsy shop https://etsy.me/2ytD43N and I love arts and crafts, I have a doggy, and I’m also a bartender. I want to find someone to just have chill talks with and maybe trade/share things. Since I have a busy life and I don’t go out much so it’s hard to make friends. ): I’m into cute modern/vintagey things and plants. I have a jungle pretty much! PM or comment if you’re interested! (: thanks, Ira!!!
Would anyone be interested in being a pen pal? Ive had trouble meeting people my first year the Zoom University isn't helping. thought this might be a fun way to converse lol. Let me know if you're down and we can discuss it further before we actually do anything.
I'm going into my second year at CSUF as undeclared.
i bought some stamps to helps usps and show some support so i’d like to find some snail mail pals. email is okay with me too if you’re unable to send written letters. i’m into reading, true crime, video games and crafts. i’m awful at drawing but i really like to admire other people’s talent lol. i’m into things like harry potter, tim burton movies, the witcher, star wars, lotr etc. i love fall and winter and absolutely hate summer. halloween is my favorite holiday, i love all things spooky. my guilty pleasure is watching twilight way too much. if you’re interested in getting to know each other, send me a PM (:
Hello! I have had a few penpals in the past but everything seems to kind of Peter out after awhile. I’d like a long term maybe even some casual pen pals to trade letters/postcards little things like a drawing, picture or stickers. I love stationary and putting in the extra effort and care to decorate what I’m taking time to send. I don’t expect you to do the same. I have extra time working from home and trying my best to just stay home so I’d very much welcome some distant company and excitement. I’m into cooking, have way too many house plants and lately been dabbling a little into astrology for fun. Let’s talk about our hobbies, great new songs we’ve heard, a recipe we just tried or continually go back for, our love lives, places we say dream about traveling to, bad jokes and future goals.
Shipping is $4 for the first record, $1 after that. Shipping from Houston, TX.
Here is my Discogs, I'd be willing to listen to offers on anything not listed below.... also would be open to trades. https://www.discogs.com/user/tuckleburryfinn/collection
Hi, I’m Kait, I’m a historical interpreter, historic seamstress and tour guide in central NC. I have a BS in Human Development and Family Studies with a minor in psychology, and a background in human services work as well. Would love to find others to chat with who are lgbt+ friendly and interested in history, video games, art, mental health and wellness, religion and spirituality, tarot reading, fiber arts, poetry, and/or re-enactments.
I work for a historic site that focuses on the Moravian settlement of North Carolina in the 1700s. I specialize in colonial fiber work, particularly the spinning, weaving and dying of linen fabric. On the side I sew historically accurate clothing for revolutionary war re-enactors. In the past I worked at a Victorian era historic house, a therapeutic horseback center, and taught preschool.
Work has been slow lately due to museums in the state being closed and living history events being canceled. It’s not looking like either will be coming back in f... keep reading on reddit ➡
Thought I'd try this forum to perhaps find some additional pen friends during the COVID down time. I'm a Canadian lawyer with a stationery habit, and I love to write letters using one of my many fountain pens or typewriters. I'm big on the snail mail, and have a small handful of regular pen pals from around the world.
I'm a gay guy, married with dog, and a nerd at heart. I have some "old lady" hobbies like quilting and gardening, but I also enjoy hiking, working on our rural property, and reading graphic novels. I'm a sucker for trashy fantasy shows and documentaries.
If this sounds interesting, feel free to send me a PM!
Hi! My name is Jade and as my title says I would love to write letters some penpals. I have all the fancy equipment ready and waiting just need a pal!
A little bit about me.. I live in South East England, I am a practitioner at a day nursery, which I absolutely love. Although it has been quite difficult recently with the pandemic and all that.
I am quite an awkward and introverted person so making friends has never been easy for me, throw in social anxiety disorder and that pretty much sums up my social life! So I want to try a different way of making friends 😊
I am open to UK based or international penpals, I love the thought of writing letters around the world.
Drop me a comment or a DM if you're interested! 😊
Thank you, u/lonelytwatwaffle for the happy snail mail and goodies! (The Beard Whisperer made me laugh outl loud!) I tried to get Her Highness to pose with the card but she was absolutely NOT interested (no surprise there, really) I don't know why she posed with u/CanaMeow's card -it might have something to do with the tiara, lol! I have something ready to send back to you as soon as I find the motivation to put on actual clothes and leave the house to go to the post office, haha! The Empress sends her love and adoration to Jackson <3 You, on the other hand, get her disdain and disregard, lmao! Stay awesome, friend!!!
OH MY GOODNESS, u/CanaMeow x2! I didn't know these were birthday cards so I opened the envelope instead of waiting for my actual birthday *facepalm* THANK YOU so much for all the goodies!! The Empress actually posed with one of the cards (maybe because the cat on the card had a tiara on it and she mist... keep reading on reddit ➡
So long story short Im in need of my return and I got a letter in the mail saying its finally happening and to wait 4-6 weeks for it to be mailed (it had to get amended). Looking at my transcript - I see dates that all match up except for august - it says 8/31 for code 846 and such and I'm wondering why it (and a few other entries) are post dated. Note that this is only for August - everything else looks to be perfectly correct. It should be saying like 7/31 and such.
Next question - will it really take 4-6 weeks from the letter they sent to get it to me? Seems like once they have finalized it it should be in the mail like the next day, no?
Thanks in advance
I'm looking for someone who would be keen to exchange postcards and drawings and letter updates via snail mail.
My hobbies are crocheting, painting, board games, and embroidery. I love to make things and being generally creative. Although my projects often end up ugly, I love them just the same. 😂
I'm Australian but I grew up in Thailand and only just moved back to Aus 2 years ago with my husband and son. We've had the craziest few years but things are starting to calm down and we've recently started building our own home that should be ready in a month or two and I would love to have a penpal to write to and receive letters from!
If any of this sounds good to you, please leave a comment telling me about YOU! Also feel free to ask any questions 😁
I’m looking for someone to help me be social while social distancing! Im a stay at home mom of 2 and I’m in a happy relationship from Oklahoma. I’m interested in video games ( especially overwatch and fallout), movies, art, crocheting, history( British history has a special place in my heart), and a ton of more boring stuff that I won’t post here. I will say that I love all things nerdy though! Especially Doctor Who. I would love to start writing people and learn what I can about different areas! I have never had an opportunity to actually sit down and write a letter. I watch a ton of old movies and am envious of the people in the sitting at the cute desk and actually putting in effort to communicate with people. If interested please respond! I’ll be waiting!😄
Hello! I am looking for female friends around my age for snail mail
A little about me:
I’m an avid reader and animal lover. Been vegan since 2016. I am the mom of a wonderful cat named Doctor and a Golden Retriever named Zoey. When I am not cooking a wonderful meal for my husband and me or playing with the pets, you can usually find me:
I am getting into pen pal-ing and dot journaling. I am also artsy so i love painting and drawing, though i'm not that good :P I am going back to college starting at the end of this month so I am excited about that!
I need to send a document by snail mail and have it arrive Monday. I'm looking for a service that I can send a pdf and they will print and mail it. There are many of these services in the US, but I want one that will print the document in Europe, preferably Germany, so that it will arrive in time.
In this new pandemic-y life, I recently started enjoying connecting with people via written letters. Hand drawings, washi tape, stickers, stamps, etc - it’s so fun! I really enjoy the personalization and tactility that just doesn’t come with email.
I’m located in NYC, but interested in penpals locally and globally. I’m particularly interested in hearing from folks that come from all walks of life.
I love all things photography, having done it professionally for years (before realizing it’s a tough way to survive in NYC, and switching up careers), but very happy to discuss, share ideas, and even trade prints/polaroids, etc.
While I’m a long time Reddit lurker, I’m actually very outgoing, very un-introverted, and extremely curious. If your looking for a casual penpal, I’d be happy to hear from you :)
Hi! I am an experienced snail mailer looking for a female identifying snail mail PenPal. I love japanese and korean stationery, plants, notebooks, pens, cute cat things, reading/writing, and so on. If you're familiar with the Myers Briggs I am an INFJ! I have a lot of cute stationery I'd like to send and I'm hoping to receive cute stationery in return! I'm a scientist in training and looking for a PenPal who will hopefully become my long term friend. Someone around my age or older would be ideal. Please message me if interested!
Would anyone be interested in exchanging letters through the mail? I love to learn, especially about things related to music, art, languages, human behavior, minimalism, and stoicism. I love the idea of sending and receiving handwritten letters. Tell me a little about yourself. :)
