Our Slack rep has just been sharing PDFs entitled "Why a Fortune 100 retailer left Microsoft Teams and went all in with Slack" claiming the retailer spent $250k on a failed Teams adoption while their users were "organically" using Slack.
One of common issues I keep experiencing with working in IT is people not wanting to learn technology. They will simply say βitβs beyond meβ or βI donβt know how to do it so I wonβtβ lol and itβs ridiculous.
Tech is challenging I get it but everyone can learn it. But you have to try. If you donβt try and constantly rely on other people to assist you, you are a burden who needs to stop making excuses.
Sorry if this topic has been brought up before.
Slack seems to have just went down for us in the UK. Status page doesn't show anything, but people reporting it on Twitter too.

> The board of directors of each of Salesforce and Slack have approved the transaction and the Slack board recommends that Slack stockholders approve the transaction and adopt the merger agreement. The transaction is anticipated to close in the second quarter of Salesforceβs fiscal year 2022, subject to approval by the Slack stockholders, the receipt of required regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions.
...itβs been two days. TWO DAYS. And already I feel like a huge weight has been lifted. Oh mah gawd.
I established my working hours as 8-4 once I came back from leave in April, and since my husband works nights I watch our 1 year old from 4 until bed time.
I didnβt realize how much I would spontaneously flick to these apps on my phone to see what was going on with various projects, etc. while I was watching my son. Im quickly starting to realize that in most cases, things can wait until my working hours, and if itβs a true emergency (which lets be real...most time itβs not), I can address when I log on.
I know that NBA fans in general are recency bias monsters who sprint to form opinions and hot takes as quickly as possible, but this year is gonna be especially difficult for the rookies. And while the timing of this draft class appearing βweakβ might make people wanna jump to bust talk, I think we should table all that until 2021
Hey all!
I keep searching for "telegram and teams" or "telegram and business" but can't find a good answer, so I'll post here!
I own a coffee shop with a dozen employees. Right now we're using Group Me for team communication. It works good enough but I'm looking for something a little more robust.
Here's what I'd like:
I started putting together a Slack channel to do all of this. One channel for each category so it would be easy to find what you need on the fly (recipes would be found together, etc) It would work well but it's not nearly as user friendly or "fun" as Telegram.
What's the best way (is there a way) to use Telegram this way?
Also open to other ideas.
Thanks!
seems to be 1/5 or 6 people think like this, ignore mechanics and le the healers deal with it while a tank is going for a good time and you just end up there on low mana from healng 80% of the lowest dps hp on every trash mechanic, because "bro its only X"
i sort of seen this coming from lfg and M0, ppl just put no effort in and its translated loads in the lfg for keys
