I was just thinking about this, and a cursory Google search didn't shed much light on anything.
So we had this tree that we dealt with all season long. We watched it go from Traveler-white to Darkness-black. It slowly took on the color and texture of that corrupted ground from the Contact events. The sky turned into some Darkness-ripple and slowly consumed the tree each week.
But when the season ended, it all just ... Disappeared. No follow up, from what I recall, or explanation as to what happened.
Is it still there? Is it still growing? Did I miss something?
Edit: Whoops, forgot the tree was on IO. For some reason I was thinking of Nessus. Guess it's just an unknown for now
Does anyone use this as an alternative to buying PSLV? I do not have access to PSLVthrough my SIP provider and want to use this as an alternative to buying physical silver which I already keep a significant amount of. Here is a link to the key document which states
Physical Silver is backed by physical allocated silver held by HSBC Bank plc (the custodian). Only metal that conforms with the London Bullion Market Association's (LBMA) rules for Good Delivery can be accepted by the custodian. Each physical bar is segregated, individually identified and allocated.
Any help from fellow Apes greatly appreciated.
I have a silver squiggly that Iβve completely maxed the tree of (shes my favourite and Iβve got a bunch of really good blockbusters) and now im wondering if its going to be worth it if when I level her if it all just disappears?
I remember playing it a while back, but at the time could not get into it as I found it having infinite actions made the grindy parts annoying. However, I have since grown used to grinding with FL, and am wondering if it's writing holds up. Also how long would it take to beat?
Is PHAG also a good option to buy?
Kind regards
As we all know, the Black Garden holds somewhat of a special place for the Darkness. In the Garden of Salvation raid, we discovered one of the veiled statues associated with the Darkness, also seen in the Pyramid of Shadowkeep and in Clarity Control. However, before this we destroyed the Heart of Darkness in the Black Garden. This is the event that I want to focus on. After reading some lore and checking some visual details, I have a theory. It may seem outlandish, but then again, weren't some of the Tower's greatest heroes ones with outlandish ideas?
This begins in the beginning, with Unveiling. The Winnower describes the garden before time, (as a metaphor of course) and in that garden grew the tree of silver wings. During the first clash of Light and Dark, it is said the tree was destroyed, and all that was left was a smoking stump. Now we know from the events in Season of Arrivals that the Tree of Silver Wings is merely a vessel of paracausal energy, taking in whatever is given to it. This is true for not just the tree itself, but any extension of it, as evidenced by not only the seed but the branch we turn into the Ruinous Effigy. As the Season progressed, we saw the tree go from being rooted in the Light to being consumed by the Dark. "What does this have to do with the Black Garden?" you may ask. Let's get to that now.
While many theorize that the Garden described in Unveiling is the Black Garden, I have a bit of a different take on it. Over the years, we learn the vex plan to dominate the universe and become a law of it, or their pattern will. This is to be accomplished using their mastery of time, with massive prediction engines such as the Infinite Forest, or experiments with ontological weaponry in the Vault of Glass. On this journey to dominate, the Vex encountered the Black Garden. In the Aspect lore book, the Vex are depicted terraforming the Garden, much like Mercury or Venus. I feel that if the Garden always belonged to the Vex, they would most likely not be trying to terraform it, and their relationship with the Dark Heart would be much different. This is mainly relevant because of the idea that in the Garden before time, something was left behind. A stump of Silver wings.
Now this is where it gets a speculative, as there is no official confirmation, however, I believe that this may be the origin of the Dark Heart and why the Vex of the Sol Divisive worship it so deeply. So, hold on to your helmet because we're going on a ride.

So should I use these BBs or grind other lines? I have seen Bismarck and Vladivostok perform well because of mid range engagements in ranked.
And for tier 9 I am planning to get Pommern. Is it good boat for ranked?
Thank you.
Nearly all the time I read on reddit to go for physical silver (I did) or to buy PSLV. Perhaps for european is it easier to go for the fund Wisdom tree physical silver (or PHAG) ? What s the dif between this fund and PSLV ? Proβs and contraβs ?? Any information welcome, tx
Come and get it, solar-boy...yeah, squeeze it...mmm
Man I was so sorry for jeanne I was not able to keep a good relation with her!

Here is a pic as proof. In my game, the Tree of Silver Wings has been completely corrupted by Darkness. What implications does this have? Enjoy the image as a resource/proof of this being possible. I saw some people saying this hasnβt happened.
Now that Interference has concluded, and the Tree has become fully dark for some players, I think the final question to ask before the season ends is this.
What is the Tree?
We know that it was probably planted by Osiris, after he met a Pyramid Ship on the outskirts of the Solar System and received a seed.
We also have the infamous quote from the Destiny 1 exotic Ruin Wings.
"In the Garden grows a tree of silver wings. The leaves are ruin, the bark disaster. Of the seeds we do not speak."
The Tree is a paracausal construct. Perhaps a remnant from the original Garden (not the Black Garden) before the Winnower and the Gardener began their Game and created the universe.
"It acts as an engine of integration, incorporating that which it contacts into its structure. It feeds from paracausal energy. The Light. The Dark. They are vying for dominance within its every particle."
This quote is from the Seed of Silver Wings lore tab, narrated by Eris Morn.
The Tree, and its Seed by extension, is a paracausal construct that accepts both the Light and Darkness. Not in harmony, but in competition.
So the Tree and the Seed are perhaps paracausal vessels. They can accept and adopt both, and their shape molds to whichever force is more dominant at the time.
We see this both in the Seed and in the Tree.
The Seed starts out as a core of bright Light with a bit of Darkness swirling around it (when the artifact is lvl 1). Level it up and the Darkness starts enveloping the core of Light more and more. On max lvl it snuffs out the Light almost completely.
The Darkness won on the Seed.
Then theres the Tree. It starts the season white and full of Light. Halfway the Darkness infects it. Its half Light half Dark.
And now its fully Dark. The Darkness has won again.
But now the question is, why does the Tree bring ruin? Why do we not speak of its Seed?
Even Nokris knows this, as he warns us during our duel against him.
"The Tree brings ruin. Fell its might, or be buried in the shadow of its leaves"
So what is so unsettling and dangerous about this tree?
Ive seen theories that perhaps the fruit of the Tree is a paracausal being. That it will birth a Pyramid, or that the sphere construct on the canopy could be a Dark Traveler.
I think its simpler than that.
The Tree brings ruin because the Tree represents our temptation toward the Dark.
Its a symbol to our fall.
Think about it.
The Tree and the Seed begin the season aligned toward the Light, like us.
But we commu
