If and when the pandemic is over, can we keep the restaurant and cafe sidewalk and street patios? I rather like it.
Today’s the second time in two days I’ve almost been run into from behind by a biker while walking across the bridge. Yesterday got yelled at and flipped off when my partner told them to use the road. There’s a painted bike symbol in the right lane for a freakin reason!! I can’t hear you coming with the wind and traffic! Plz stop :(
I’m already scared of heights and pushing my limits walking on this bridge lmaooo I don’t need someone yelling at me for not wanting to push up against the railing
EDIT For all the bikers downvoting this, you realize walking your bike past pedestrians on a busy bridge is an option, right? The bridge is sketchy as hell to bike across but don’t make it MORE unsafe than it already is by overtaking pedestrians at speed with no warning. Apparently ‘not wanting to get run over by a bike’ is controversial
Today was a rainy day, and I saw plenty of earthworms which I rarely see otherwise. This is why I was asking this myself. I also do not see any advantage of earthworms to be on the sidewalks.
I saw it on the public sidewalk in Borough Park. It was clearly carved in when the concrete was soft. The people who live here shouldn’t have to be harassed by this everyday. Who can I contact to get it removed?
