Like the Post says I have been steady acquiring Joann fabrics (JOAN) stocks because it is a pick and shovel stock. If you are unfamiliar with the topic, what that means is in a gold rush you don’t go digging for gold you sell the picks and shovels to dig gold. Tech stocks can be way overvalued, so instead of buying Etsy or EBay, one might buy JOAN because it sells to those who sell on those platforms. Scott’s Miracle Gro (SMG) is also an example, and who I own stock in, for the marijuana industry.
I would love to get recommendations for any other stocks that you think fit in this category.
I'm very interested to know what drives YOU guys crazy but first let me tell you about what I cant stand on a 24 hour shift and may be someone has some advice on how to deal with....
ok I have two major pet peeves, one is not exclusive to EMS but it really amazes me that these things are even issues at all, and I guess that makes them even harder to say or do anything about because to me it just seems like common etiquette, so the fact that it's even an issue at all makes it seem like blatant disrespect or disregard
having the dispatch radio volume turned all the way up...it is already designed to be loud and earsplitting as it is....the god awful tone out is set to wake you up even at half power, then the actual traffic comes through all high pitch and tin sounding....why so many medics need to have the damn thing turned at 75% or higher is absolutely ridiculous....then some idiots like to keep both the main radio and portable on at full blast so you get all this additional feedback... and for anyone to say it's "cause they have bad hearing"....b*ch, may be if you didnt keep the radio turned up so loud all the time your hearing wouldnt be so bad
not exclusive to EMS but what is up with people who insist on watching movies on their phones with no headphones?!?!?!? and even then they still turn the volume up as high as it goes....MFer its 4am, we're lucky enough to make it back to the station for an hour or two to nap and you're going to lay 5 feet away from me watching Free Willey with the volume turned all the way up?!?!?
like I said this is just basic common courtesy to me...therefore I dont really know how to confront people over things like this without sounding like a d1ck, cause to me that line was already crossed
