WIBTA if I hide my Shampoo and Conditioner from my sibling?

(Mandatory apology for format because I’m on mobile. I’ll be keeping this extremely vague because the one I’m referring to also has a Reddit.)

I have an older sibling who I will simply be referring to as G for this post.

G got out of the military recently, and has been trying out feminine things to feel better about their gender. Let me be clear, I have NO problem with this at all.

The problem arises when G is using the shampoo and conditioner I specifically bought for myself. When G first came home, I made it clear which brand was mine, and asked G directly to not use it. Our parents already have soaps in that shower for our younger sibling that they pay for, and come in very large, feminine, bulk containers.

Before G came home, I could stretch my smaller, nice soaps for almost 2 months because of my short hair. My last batch was gone in 2 ½ weeks. I’m sick of fighting with G over stuff like this. The last time I asked G to pay me back for stuff they requested I get them, they had a fit.

I feel like I may be TA because G is just trying to feel nice, same as me, but at the same time this is stuff I pay for and asked them not to use. So WIBTA if I just hide my new soaps from G?

QUICK EDIT: I am a grown adult who buys my own soaps. Had a couple people asking in the comments .v.

What are your go-to shampoos, conditioners, and/or wipes for cleaning folds?

We’ve been having so many skin issues recently with our 2 boys. One has really dry/flaky skin and the other one tends to get yeasty face folds. I’ve been using natural dog company sensitive shampoo and it works well for their bodies but looking for a good soap for the face and conditioner as well as wipes for in between baths. I currently use just plain water wipes. Your recommendations are appreciated:)

What to do with shampoo and conditioner bars? Recommendation of sensitive skin shampoo, conditioner that come in recyclable packaging or tubs?

I have the most dry ridiculous skin ever. It's sensitive and the only things that have worked for me is dove body bars, cerave hydrating bars, and Cerave in the tub. Luckily tubs make really adorable planters once you peel the stickers off and drill a hole. I love houseplants and growing garlic and herbs.

I didn't think haircare was a big deal. I used to use whatever sensitive skin, hypoallergenic (most of the time baby) shampoo I could and it'd be fine. I can't tolerate coconut and maybe it's the pH or something but I've tried so many shampoo bars and conditioner bars and now they're just drying out on a counter. I'm frustrated and feel like I just created more waste by buying them.

Shampoo and Conditioner recommendations please!

Hi everyone! I'm looking to make one last VIB sale purchase and I just so happened to run out of shampoo and conditioner so I thought this would be the best time to try something new! My hair profile is as follows:

Hair color: Dark brown, almost black really
Hair type: Medium, naturally wavy hair
Hair length: Medium, goes down to my shoulders

Wants (all boxes do not have to be checked): Oil control, Frizz control, Hair Growth, Sleek & Shine, Silky smooth feel, accompanying leave-in treatment (conditioner, spray, oil, etc.), heat protection.

Other things: Current hair products are the Function Of Beauty Shampoo, Conditioner, and Leave In Conditioner and I am currently using Hair-tamins to help with hair growth! I like the look of my hair when I straighten it, so I tend to do that often. Also, I am a Hispanic male if that helps any.

Thanks in advance! Look forward to all of your suggestions :)

I can't for the life of me find the right shampoo/conditioner and I'm about to quit cgm. I just want my hair to look clean and not have knots. Also, wtf is my hairtype?

Devacurl was the closest, but I do feel like I was losing hair more quickly than usual so I'd rather play it safe. Everything else I've tried doesn't seem to clean my hair, or the conditioner doesn't do enough to help with knots, or it's just way to heavy for my hair. Or all of the above. I see the back of my hair in pictures and I'm mortified like it looks so stringing and like I haven't washed it in a year...even on wash days.

The left picture is with a diffuser...it's never airdried that curly. The right picture is how I prefer my hair. I like the big and kind of wild look.

Please send me anything that might help with this...I've been so good about CGM for almost a year and am starting to feel like it's not worth trying anymore.

Anti-Dandruff Shampoo and Conditioner?

I think I might have wavy hair (2a-2b); in summer 2020 I used the curly girl method and got to about a 2b. However I stopped due to doing lots of sports; I had to tie my hair back ever single day and that always ruined the waves.

Now my hair is longer and feels way heavier and thicker than back then. I’ve been trying some CG methods again (scrunching, plopping, drying with t-shirts, diffusing) but haven’t achieved anything except frizz and a light wave in the ends. I feel like this might also be related to my shampoo and conditioner, I haver very severe flaky dandruff (I’m talking up to 6mm diameter flakes) if I don’t use strong anti-dandruff products. Currently using Neutrogena T-Gel (lots of Sulphates) and Head&Shoulders conditioner (Silicones).

Does anyone know any CG-approved anti-dandruff shampoos that actually work?

PS I’m not using any curl products atm bc I wanted to see how much texture I could get before investing in loads of products but I’m very open to recommendations for wavy hair!

Thanks in advance xx

Why do most hotels provide little bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and lotion, but not toothpaste?

I know many hotels probably have it at the front desk if you forget to bring it, but why is it not the norm to include a small tube of toothpaste in the room itself? Is it just more expensive per ounce than the other items or something?

desperately need a new shampoo and conditioner

Hey all, so the past few months I've been trying so hard to find a really good shampoo and conditioner, and so far I have had no luck.

I need something that is specifically for color-treated hair (I recently re-dyed my hair to mahogany red) and that can help with taming EXTREMELY frizzy/damaged hair. Also, If anyone knows any good hair masks, please feel free to give suggestions for that as well as I am looking into a good hair mask to use. For my preferred price range, something that is around $25-$45 would be great.

My friend told me that the best shampoo/conditioners for hair are vegan, but I can't seem to find anything. :/ Any help/advice/feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Shampoo and Conditioner recommendations - frustrated!

Looking for shampoo and conditioner recommendations! I've been looking for a couple of years and am not satisfied with anything.

Cruelty free is a must. I'd love zero waste, carbon neutral, and/or a company that donates to a cause to benefit the planet.

My partner has long, curly hair and is prone to frizz and dandruff if the product isn't great or leaves residue. I have short hair, straight and fine. I don't need much aside from a good wash, but my partner needs conditioner and a leave-in. We live in a sub-tropical environment. It's humid! We spend a lot of time in the ocean.

We've tried several products such as Lush (we had a roommate several years ago who worked for Lush and were able to try most of their products, I loved the sea salt shampoo and would go back to that, but it didn't work for my partner), Shea moisture, Alaffia, Beauty Without Cruelty, Aveda, 100% pure, and even the MLM Monat due to the persistence of a vegan friend, but alas! we are still looking...there are def more for the list, but I'm blanking at the moment.

Don't buy Monat, don't do it - for anyone curious! It wasn't so bad on my hair, but ruined my partner's.

My partner is weary about using a bar which I recognize is the way we make the least amount of trash with our hair care. I'd be open to tips for using bars if it really is the way and the products are that good!

I'm picky about hair products. In what feels like another life I did attend cosmetology school and did work at a high end salon and for a long time had nice hair! I've abandoned that lifestyle, but wouldn't mind if my hair felt good again!

Thanks in advance for recommendations!

Am i supposed to towel dry my hair after using Kerastese shampoo before applying kerastese conditioner and than rinse it again ?

So I'm buying Kerastese shampoo and conditioner and the usage method says this:

Apply Kérastase Resistance Bain Extentioniste Shampoo to wet hair, massage and lather. Rinse thoroughly. Dry your hair with a towel and apply a nut-sized amount of Kérastase Resistance Fondant Extentioniste to the hair. Thoroughly distribute band by band. Leave for 1-2 minutes. Brush and rinse thoroughly

I always used conditioner while my hair was wet after using shampoo and rinsing it so this made me confused cuz it sounded like using a leave in conditioner
