What the hell did Sean and Julian do?! i’m too anxious to find out like lmaoooo i need to know right now. someone please tell me. they taking too long to answer these questions.
What are you watching now that it’s over?
I recently watched Don’t Fu*k with Cats on Netflix and have thought about it every day since. Woah, just woah. I also watched the Aaron Hernandez mini series and that was pretty good too.
I’m a glutton for reality tv and love My 600 Pound Life, the 1000 Pound Sisters and Below Deck.
I’m always in search of something new so please share what you’re watching while we wait for season 2.
Any movie suggestions that have a feel similar to Servant?
I know that movies related to MNS are probably automatically on the list.
I recently watched Force Majeure. It is about a married couple, with two children, who are on vacation at a luxurious ski resort. At the start of the vacation, they are eating outside in front of an amazing view of the slopes. In the distance they notice an avalanche slowly approach the restaurant. Thinking it is a controlled avalanche they admire it, but suddenly it appears to be headed directly towards them. The children scream, the mother tries to shield the children, while the father grabs his phone and runs away. The fog and snow settle, revealing that everyone is okay and just covered with a light dusting of snow....
That is how the movie starts.
It was extremely uncomfortable to watch, at times, and it reminded me of the Servant vibe.
Any other movie suggestions?
Also, has anyone seen Parasite yet? If so, what are you thoughts?
Don't forget episode 5 drops shortly! (12:01 EST)
Week after week. It stabilized at 8.1 mid-season and currently it's at 7.7.
Lots of Apple haters but also people genuinely disappointed at all the red herrings and lack of answers.
By the looks of it, it won't get any different in season 2.
I’m seeing soooo many posts and comments about how shitty a person Dorothy is... if you are one of those people...
#i implore you, no, I fucking double uncle George dog DARE you to watch the series FROM THE TOP All over again & TRY your very HARDEST NOT TO HAVE SYMPATHY FOR DOROTHY, you can’t do it... I guarantee you will see her through new eyes...if you don’t .. you just might be a psychopath... ಥ_ಥ no one #####And I mean NO ONE would ever ever ever forget their baby in a hot car on purpose &amp; she carried her baby’s corpsein front of a third party (objective) delivery men, meaning she was in a full state of delusion and she carried her baby’s corpse for four fucking hellish days in that delusion

>"A. Servant is a brazen copy of Plaintiff’s 2013 feature film."
It's not a brazen copy. It contains similar themes.
>The film tells the story of a troubled and withholding 18-year old girl, newly hired by a white, sophisticated, privileged yet gracious, mid-30’s, first-time mom—to help care for her new baby. After fleeting images of what seems to be a healthy three-month-old infant, the audience discovers that the “baby” is really an ultra-realistic “reborn” doll—shattering the illusion of an uber-competent modern mom. The cause of the mother’s delusion, the father later reveals, is the unspeakable grief of recently losing their real three month-old baby.
The baby being a doll is the twist in the film that brings us into... keep reading on reddit ➡
I made a timeline based on references to dates/times we see and hear in Servant season 1. This timeline works with Jericho being conceived in 2017, born on the infamous 0603(June 3) in 2018, dying in August 2018 and the events that conspire afterwards carrying from that point into 2019. If anyone has any other solid dates to add to make a better timeline I’d love to collaborate!
•(September 5th, 2017-Jericho Conceived) Jericho was conceived near this time and could have been born early June 2018(38 weeks from Sept 5th). The infamous 0603 code in fact could be his birthdate using this timeline.
•(December 5th, 2017-Sean and Dorothy stop having sex)As stated by Sean, D&S had sex for the last time a year ago to the day on Julian’s birthday. This would mean Dorothy was 3 months pregnant with Jericho when they last had sex. Sean states Julian was coming on a Wednesday, 5th for his bday dinner. December 5, 2018 was a Wednesday and this is the birthday dinner we see where Sean gets... keep reading on reddit ➡
😱 can’t wait for Friday!!!
Who else started a Reddit account just so they could talk about Servant?? Me!! I guess I actually started a Reddit account earlier, but I never ever posted about anything until now. Whatever happens in the final eps, I have to say KUDOS to this show’s creators, and to all my fellow Servant fans for their curiosity and intelligent analysis. Til Friday.,,,
So, I work for a place that’s a cafe during the day and a nightclub at night. It’s an adventure, and I love every minute of it.
Sunday’s are insane. Usually the Saturday night close is rough, but I’ve learned to expect that, and I won’t speak badly about those that served until 3am and just were too tired to restock some napkins. I get it dude.
Sunday is also walk-in 10-16 top day. It never fails. We get large groups back to back. We had a 15 person table come in, and my coworker, Sam (name changed) had it put in his section, and it took up every table he was assigned.
Sam is a great server. He’s been in the industry for years and knows his stuff. He was attentive, constantly giving refills, making them laugh, etc.
As things come to an end, people began leaving, so Sam asked if the check was all on one. Everyone at his table just looked around at each other and it was obvious that they had not planned out whether one person was footing the bill or if everyone was going separate... keep reading on reddit ➡
Did Dorothys father pay him to take the role of husband?? Maybe he used to be the family’s cook. He seems to be in the kitchen all the time. In the first episode when Leanne asks what he does for a living, Dorothy jumps in and tells her he’s a fancy cook while Sean sits there uncomfortably. Then when Dorothy is gone and Sean asks Leanne to drop the act he goes “Lady Turner isn’t here”. Also, Dorothy seems to boss him around all the time and he just follows orders basically. When Leanne asked how they met, Dorothy avoids the question almost as if she doesn’t know.
in the soundtrack, the last song (track 47) is called, “the servant,” and it got me wondering if there is a literal & metaphorical servant(s) in this story. could there be a twist on who we think is & see as the servant?
I have a theory. I think that Jericho “controls” Leanne. She is, in fact, his servant.
When Jericho died he managed to summon Leanne for help, and come back to life thanks to her supernatural powers.
But he can’t walk or talk. He could not share details of his demise with her. As soon as she founds out the details, Jericho pushes Leanne to become more cruel toward his neglectful mother.
This is clear when Leanne is torturing Dorothy with the car remote - the camera switches to Jericho as to demonstrate that he is fully endorsing her actions, and perhaps enjoying them.
He’s also the one craving for Leanne’s attention at night. He doesn’t want to be with his mother (Leanne was wondering why he always cried while she was around). He remembers clearly what has happened to him.
He’s a baby, and he wants to punish his mother for what she did to him. He wants her to remember. But he’s defenceless without Leanne, and turns into a doll when she’s not around (for protection, I assume).... keep reading on reddit ➡
Many people have noticed several inconsistencies with the timeline of episode 9 particularly regarding the weather and Jericho’s apparent age.
I thought of a theory that could explain the weather change.
It shows Jericho being left in the car on that hot summer day (presumably in August when Sean said he was leaving for a week).
Sean says Dorothy was alone with Jericho for 4 days after he died. But with the trees full of green leaves and clothing indicating summer temps it quickly changes to fall clothing and bare trees. Even the passers by outside are in fall clothing.
So we skipped from summer to fall in 4 days if we are to take the narrative and what we are seeing as accurate.
Since the writers of Servant have stated everything in the show can actually be explained to leave you wonder if it’s supernatural or not, this particular happening doesn’t fit. It doesn’t fall under any type of natural explanation.
So, maybe Sean was gone for longer than a week and maybe the first f... keep reading on reddit ➡
As some of you may be aware, Servant has two official Instagram accounts ( servantofficial and servantofficial_ ).
Does anyone have any theories as to why this is?
After looking at every post in each IG account, what I’ve noticed is that the servantofficial account has almost the same videos or photos posted as the servantofficial_ account. The major differences are the captions for each post. The servantofficial posts include very uneventful, normal, pleasant captions. The servantofficial_ posts include unnerving, even sinister captions that gives more clues as to what is really going on.
It seems me that the servantofficial account serves as the “regular” pleasant account and the servantofficial_ account serves as the sinister “truth”, something-is-wrong account.
What do you guys think? Is the fact that they have two accounts a clue itself?
For those interested, here are the main differences in each post:
Each account has 13 posts so fa... keep reading on reddit ➡

I got a good reception to posting this idea on the episode discussion thread, so here it is. Nominate the sub for the show you think we should all watch next here.
If mods feel like pinning that's great, if not that's cool too.
Edit: Since there were only two nominations and The Outsider seems to have the general enthusiasm, we’re going to do that one. >Hidden Remote: I know you have worked on a little bit of everything, from When They See Us to 27 Dresses, what drew you to Apple TV series? Is horror one of your favorite genres?
>Caroline Duncan: I’m actually not a horror fan, I have a pretty weak stomach for it! I love the script that I was shown. I had worked on another series that was about the death of a child and how that impacted the family and the process of grieving that was very naturalistic. And this show [Servant] has a very different prospective on grief, and gives you the opportunity as a designer to explore more of the subconscious or unconscious handling of a loss. I felt incredibly drawn to it.
>HR: I’m particularly curious about Dorothy and Leanne’s choice of clothing — especially Dorothy! In the flashbacks with Jericho, she dresses and behaves so differently compared to present time, can you tell me about that?
>Duncan: Sure! In the fla
Ulysses, Ulysses — Soaring through all the galaxies. In search of Earth, flying in to the night. Ulysses, Ulysses — Fighting evil and tyranny, with all his power, and with all of his might. Ulysses — no-one else can do the things you do. Ulysses — like a bolt of thunder from the blue. Ulysses — always fighting all the evil forces bringing peace and justice to all.
My working theory is that the show as we the audience see it is actually what is playing out in Dorothy’s head while she is in her catatonic state.
My guess is that she’s is in her catatonic state in the house and unable to leave, which is why practically everything takes place in the house. I think she visualizes everything based on what she hears, which accounts for why some things seem to be supernatural (splinters) sort of like a dream.
This is kind of a spin-off of the multiverses theory except that the multiverses are reality and her catatonic dream state. I think that so far the show has just been reality as construed by her catatonic dream state and that the finale may reveal what’s actually happening with the remaining seasons going more into both as the others try to wake Dorthy up.
If it’s not this, I think it has to have a supernatural basis.
A good clue is given here by the story tellers and we can begin to see throughout the series that Characters maybe are other than what they seem. 1. Are the Turners this rich tragic family or are they devil incarnate? 2. Is Leanne this innocent 18 year old Nanny or is She someone Sinister
If we take the description at face value we come up with what these characters could be.
Leanne seems very manipulative from the start, never giving any answers about doll or Baby Jericho, Shes willing to let Wanda’s little girl die to learn Wanda’s motivation. Leanne’s guilty of something that she prays all the time and self flagellation. Did Leanne burn down her Wisconsin home and faked her death to start a new life?
Leanne hits Natalie as she doesn’t want Natalie to see the Baby in the Crib instead of the Doll that Natalie had given to Dorothy and now that Leanne has replaced the Doll with Baby Anders from Dorothy’s Dad suggestion or other source she doesn’t want Natalie to know.
I'm starting to get suspicious of Sean. I've only watched each episode once, so I don't have a detailed analyst like some people here can provide. I'm looking for input from others who have followed the show more closely.
First, is Sean the titular "Servant?" Sean is a chef and consultant for restaurants. He also caters events. All of these roles are technically serving. It's just the kind of thing a writer would call this show to get us to realize it in retrospect but not pay attention to before, like we would if the show were called "Chef." It also makes us pay closer attention to Leanne than we otherwise would.
Some concerning things about Sean:
-He's overly suspicious of Leanne. He tries to convince his wife to fire her. He tries to get her out of the house by replacing her food. He then puts a camera in her room to keep tabs on her. If he really wanted her out of his house, he could have made an ultimatum with his wife to fire her rather than going about it in all these under... keep reading on reddit ➡

Disclaimer: I don’t know how powerful the Imperium is, so I’m sorry if this is super one-sided
Also, Warrior-Servants includes the Prometheans, even though they are technically a different rate.
Round 1: all of the Forerunner army appear in an Imperium-inhabited part of the Universe. The entirety of the Imperium is there, for some reason. The Imperium has the Homefield advantage, and were ready for foes to appear out of nowhere. Soon, ground operations start, with the Imperium already having defenses set up.
Round 2: same thing, but reversed. Forerunners on the Defensive.
Round 3: whatever the Imperium’s most powerful single ship is versus the Mantle’s Approach.
Round 4: leader vs leader. Didact versus the Inperium’s most decorated general or whatever.
Round 5: both army appear in the same time in empty space not expecting a battle.
Round 6: same as 5 but there are planets for ground operations.
For me my greatest disappointment is Arjuna, not because of his gameplay but because he doesn’t have a character outside Karna.
In 1989, Kriangkrai Techamong, a Thai servant for the House of Saud, stole jewellery and other valuable gems from the bedroom of Prince Faisal bin Fahd. Kriangkrai hid the stolen jewellery, which included a valuable blue diamond and other gems, in a vacuum cleaner bag and then shipped it to his home in Lampang Province, Thailand.
A Royal Thai Police investigation by a team headed by Lieutenant-General Chalor Kerdthes led to Kriangkrai's arrest and the recovery of most of the stolen jewellery. Kriangkai was sentenced to seven years in prison, but he was released after three years as he cooperated with the police and had confessed. Chalor's team then flew to Saudi Arabia to return the stolen items. However, the Saudi authorities discovered that the blue diamond was still missing and that about half of the gems returned were fake.

Who is your fav character?
vote on: https://www.strawpoll.me/19190647
I’ll give my choices as an example:
Easy: Jeanne (Not Jalter), because she’s a sweet, wholesome girl of faith. My family would absolutely adore her, and my friends would definitely like her.
Hard: Everyone’s favorite Mooncancer (No, not Jinako.). I have no doubt that BB’s “high-spirited” way of speaking alone would be enough to unsettle anyone I’m closely associated with.
Apple+ ‘s Servant has pretty much got me hooked. So, out of curiosity, I did a quick Google-search of the lead characters’ name meanings just to see if the show creators dropped any hints or clues. I think that what I discovered was pretty interesting. Below are the meanings of the names of the 3 main characters:
I think it goes without saying that there is no way that it is a coincidence that the mother and father of what could potentially be a miracle-baby of some sort would both have a first name with meanings that refer to a gift from God.
And Leanne’s name being related to the word “wood” to me is also likely not coincidence, considering that there has already been an episode with the title of “Wood”, which I assume is referencing the wood splinters that Sean continues to pull from all areas of his body…. I feel like this wood thing is only goin... keep reading on reddit ➡

Fate got me in a researchy mood and ive been enjoying looking at the wikipedia pages for the actual versions of the servants and just reading them. Any actual historic facts you've learnt?
This show reminds me of Lost. I really hope that it doesn’t end like Lost though!
I enjoy reading all the theories proposed by you all! I’m so glad that I found this community!
As you may know, it is an unfortunate part of our industry that we do not receive a lot of support calls from the users. I am one of the few that deals with this, and I am sure that, when I was a newbie, it was easy for me to be a little bit dismissive of your calls. So I made a very simple post to try and open up some communication.
It is very frustrating to deal with this, because I want to help you, but I am also not willing to give you preferential treatment to be helpful. If you call in, you are going to get treated like anyone else, if you are not a technical support specialist.
I made this post to say that we are your god, you are our servant, and I will do my best to help you. If you call in, you will get the same treatment as any call, if you do not have a technical question, I will help you as best I can.
So, to your call, please hold, I will get this taken care of, I will get this resolved, I will get this resolved. Thanks!
As FGO continues to grow, more and more servants animations are being updated. Some of these improvements are as large as going from puppeted animation with mediocre effects to full blown animated attacks, and some (notably 5 star) servants received these updates before earlier released servants despite having better already animation.
Which servants do you want animation updates for the most and why?
*Here is a tier list of who I think should receive animation updates
[EDIT] Asterios should be in here
