Trying to figure out if this is a trait that depends on the individual or if this side effect is somehow tied to their biology. Any in-universe speculation helps.

No past eye issues other than light sensitivity due to 3 concussions. And whenever I get migraines they are always just behind my eyes.
Iβve always had this little brown patch on the side of my right eye. I feel like as of recently itβs been getting a little more noticeable to me and my eye doctor/PCP has never raised any concern about this let alone mention it, so I just wanted to throw it on here and see if thatβs still the case from some other perspectives. Iβve seen it could be a freckle or a pigmentation tumor that is mostly harmless, but again, wanted to see if maybe I should get it looked at again. A picture will be linked below.
Then they settle and get less red after a few minutes. But is this normal? It sort of freaks me out. My right eye doesnβt react this way to eye drops.
I've read everything I can find on Google, but I'm kind of lost as for what to do.
Edit: New blue sclera issue https://imgur.com/gallery/CozwnTX
Here's a video of my eye. The color change is new.
I dont have keratoconus but I was recently fitted for scleras due to an autoimmune issue causing my eyes to deteriorate and have no hydration at all. I got my left ense, which is the important one as that eye has a recurring erosion that is destroying it completely.
The issue is that I cannot get it in by myself as the moment the saline touches my eye it begins to burn as though I've stuck it into a cup of vinegar. My eye reflexively closes and I want to scream. Even getting it in at the doctors successfully had me curled up in a ball in the chair unable to open my eyes for about 45 minutes due to the burning. Taking it out starts another cycle of severe burning for 45 minutes to an hour.
There doesnt seem to be any way I can win and live my life peacefully with this issue and I had to pay for the lense fitting and the lenses themselves out of pocket so I'm screwed and have to make this work. How do I get them in? Does it ever stop hurting?
I have noticed recently that when I look to the sides, my eyes are sort of yellow tinted. The area around my pupil is white, like it normally is, and you canβt really see a color difference when I am looking straight ahead. But when I look to either side, both of my eyes are yellowish. Not necessarily asking for medical advice but is this normal, do most people have a yellow tint on the sides of both their eyes? Not sure if this is something that I should make a doctors appointment for. I am new to reddit so I would add a photo but I donβt know how lol
My husband has had his for 6 years and one finally cracked and he doesn't have a replacement pair. Has anyone gone through this process? How long did your lenses last before you needed new ones? What was the cost if you can remember for replacement? Unfortunately our medical insurance does not cover these lenses and I've been unable to find an eye insurance company that covers them.
I was recommended to Eyemed and VSP, but both have discontinued coverage recently for medically necessary contact lenses! So frustrating! Not looking forward to paying everything out of pocket, but it looks like that might be the case.
Does anyone else have blue sclera?
