Why YSK: Practically be mindful of what you say or do around them. Also, even if the screen is turn off the camera and microphone are still operational.
Edit: A lot of people are pointing out your phone can do the same. I just wanted to emphasize in this post that this device can do this things on a internal level as in the people in the IT/security departments can access the footage.
Hi everyone, good morning from France o/
I spent 2 hours yesterday testing android apps from these two links :
They are a bit outdated (1 year ago) so I decided to give it a shot.
I won't go far in my explanation but what I was looking for was :
- Free or small one time purchase (NO SUBSCRIPTION)
- Automatic Google Drive Sync
- Very good color and B/W quality for printing handwritten notes as a student
- Batch scan with the ability (like Camscanner) to resize images fast and to change the filter easily
- Fast to boot
- Good autocrop feature
I decided not to care about OCR but the tools I chose are quite good from what I heard in Reddit and the comment section.
Here is my TOP 3 with my phone (Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite with a pretty bad camera)
- Notebloc (or ClearScan which is basically the same app, take the one with the lowest price)
- SwiftScan (former Scanbot)
- GeniusScan
Why ? Notebloc is basically Camscanner for free with amazing image quality and Google Drive Sync. 3.59β¬ wasn't much, I don't have anything else to say, it is amazing and most importantly : Fast to scan, resize and change the filter.
Swiftscan offered good image quality while being quite slow before. Now I don't have a good image quality since the few last updates, but I know it's related to my phone and the support is going to help about that.
Same quality as far as I tested it out (used it for the last 2 years) but it is slower in scanning, resizing and especially in changing filter. It might be related to my phone, but if my phone can be that fast in Notebloc, it means it should be the same for everyone as my phone is not a standard in speed.
Finally we have GeniusScan. I'll have to admit, I like the fact that this is a French company developping it. But I took it for his precise autocrop and his quality. But it wasn't as good as the other two even if he was fast, but in the end we do want great filter quality and pdf quality, so I decided not to put him before.
That's it, if you want to make your own opinion about that, you ca
... keep reading on reddit β‘I have never stole anything in my life until yesterday. I was in a shitty mood and did not want to deal with the morons that work there so after i scanned the first item which was about $5 the rest of the items would not scan so i just said fuck it and put the items in my cart and payed for the $5 item. and pushed my cart out of the store and unloaded it and drove away. the total amount for the items i stole was almost $800

I had a challenging time figuring out some good parameters for the Think Or Swim (TOS) options hacker. There are so many to choose from. If you're a newer user to TOS, and you want a place to start from, here is a scanner that I setup finally with a lot of cross-referencing users here on /r/options as well as online scanners.

Edit: I updated the scan to remove the duplicate Open Interest filter - thankfully, I'm not giving investment advice :D
Clicking the link should just open TOS to the scan with the values populated. If you don't have TOS installed and click, I'm not quite sure what will happen :)
This particular scan is looking for options plays where I can sell a PUT and collect decent premium. I'm using a list of tickers that I watch to scan against, so it's not just scanning the entire stock market (which you can do if you'd like very easily), but on a group of about 100 tickers I'm narrowing in on 43 possibilities as of this morning that fit the criteria I'm looking for.
I'm sharing this as you'll have a variety of sliders where you can play with one or two at a time and see how the results change - this is the "hands-on" that ultimately helped me understand the scanner better, and if you're paying for a scanner, you might find that you have the ability to get the results that you want even more fine-tuned, so long as you have Think Or Swim.
I asked here on /r/options in a number of posts but never quite got the guidance, so I hope this helps someone get started.
Hey! I am the developer of OpenScan - A FLOSS document scanner app. We launched in June 2020 and released a new update just yesterday with a ton of new features.
You can get it on Izzy's repo or on Google Play.
This app enables the user to take photos of the documents and convert them into PDF and save the PDF to the device. It also allows the users to share it as PDF or as JPEGs.
Compression features are also available.
The UI is material. It was built in Flutter.
Check it out and give us feedback to improve it!

Greetings and Happy New Year! I've just acquired many family photos and documents and want to properly preserve them.
Any recommendations on a combination high resolution flatbed scanner and ink jet printer? thank you!
When you're Scanner at Atraks and waiting for the rest of your teammates to get to where you are at at the yellow glowing Atraks, you see the yellow glow on Atraks, and then after a second or two a white glow also starts to appear from her belly that gets wider and wider. If you wait just a little too long to attack, you wipe. But if you get there early and start going ham on Atraks before everyone else gets there you don't do enough DPS to 1 phase.
Is there a visual cue that lets you know just exactly how long you can stall before attacking Atraks without causing a wipe?
