Images, posts & videos related to "Rubin"
This will be my only post on here
Twitter has notified me that my previous account, @ClipsDave, will not be reinstated. It was not a copyright issue, as speculated by some. The real reason was much more petty and almost laughable.
Anyways, you can follow me @DaveClips.
Maybe somewhat petty, but I even find the intonation an enunciation of his voice to be phony as fuck.
Rubin used to have a pretty robust interview show, but lately it seems that heβs been focused on monologuing about right wing ideas. I could be wrong.
I havenβt given him much attention since the tour with Jordan Peterson stopped.
What has changed about him and his content?
Mallory brings such pure energy, thoughtfulness and joy to all the pods she participates in. She's a joy to listen to. I listen to a lot of Ringer podcasts and like a lot of them, but the ones with Mallory I actually listen to and don't just use as background when I'm folding laundry.
I also really appreciate Sean F, Amanda D, Bryan C, David S, Rodger S, Andy G. There's a lot of talented people at the Ringer who generate quality content, but I can always count on these folks for a good time.
(Titus, Tate & Jason are on my shortlist, too, but since I'm talking about the current staff of the Ringer...)
From what I can tell, Rubin and his crowd use "progressive" as a catch-all term for left-leaning values they dislike. The issue is that they juxtapose asinine, mainstream liberal identity politics with the economic policies of Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren. This does not make sense, as anybody who has spent a few minutes in left-leaning circles knows that most progressives are actually very critical of identity politics. It was Hillary Clinton, not Bernie Sanders, who utilized identity politics in 2016. Progressive outlets such as The Guardian and The Nation are actually very critical of diversity for its own sake.
So Dave Rubin, The Daily Wire, and the rest of the IDW do not know whom they are even criticizing.
