Use this post to discuss whatever you want! Future dream casts, trying your stand up career, crying shenanigans about this season's robbed cinnamon bun... it all goes here. Just remember to be civil and keep opinions here and not in the speculation threads. Thank you!
Personally, I miss the challenge of open world difficulty. If we could have like a Heroic or Master difficulty open world, Public events, patrols and open world bosses would make things fun for planets. Introducing certain weapons and armor to different planets would make them relevant again (looking at you Nessus).
Edit: It's great to see the idea is very receptive. Let's keep up the traction! Hopefully the community mangers will see it. But please, only award free stuff. Please spend your money on something worth it.
Edit 2: Good Lord, I did not expect this to blow up this much. Wow! They can't ignore this much interest, can they?
Edit 3: Well, Bungie, if this doesn't tell you that people want it, I don't know what else to tell you.
Firstly, I want to say congratulations to each and every one of you who made it this far.
For some of us it’s our first attempt, for others it’s simply one out of many. No matter your background, you participated and beat the odds.
When you see this post it will be December, white means we’re in for the Christmas Season and can return to our normal habits. You’ve truly proved yourselves, and have been an amazing community in this difficult year.
“I’ve beaten the challenge! Where’s my role?”
In order to get your Diamond NoNutter 2020 flair, you must:
NoNutNovember is over. What now?
-Join r/DontDiddleDecember if you want to extend the challenge and practice even more self control!
-If you’re looking for the complete opposite of No Nut November and want a real challenge, try your luck in r/destroydick_december!
I’m proud of all you, I know it was really difficult for plenty of you. But you preserved, and helped to make this community more than it was any other year. Coronavirus has left us alone at home for awhile, making this year’s challenge more difficult than ever. I’m going to miss this community but I know that I can count on you all being here next December. Wether you won or lost, thank you for being a part of this. However, Don’t feel bad if you lost; you can always try again!
All in all, nice work and enjoy your freedom.
EDIT: Please stop dm'ing me about Diamond Nonutter 2020 flairs.
Still waiting for DFA, Duty Bound and basically all of the Trials of the Nine weapons. There are so many awesome Y1 guns. Just some examples I hope for.
I don't eat meat and haven't for five or six years. It's not for religious reasons but it's still something I feel extremely strongly about. I don't make "exceptions" for it ever, regardless of how drunk I get or how hungry I am, etc. At the same time, I do not judge anyone who does choose to eat meat around me nor do I dictate what type of restaurant/bar my friends want to go to when we are out together. Vegetarian options are super widely available so it's always a nonissue. That being said - I respect other people's choices for what they want to eat and I expect the same in return.
I was out drinking with my close friends and one of them, we'll call him Ryan, offered me a leftover egg roll from his meal. I asked him if there was any meat in it and he said no. I took a bite of it and again clarified with him, asking if he was sure. Ryan is well aware that I don't eat meat. Again, he told me no.
Immediately after I finish eating the egg roll, Ryan gets this sick smirk on his face and tells me the egg roll had pork in it. Like he thought it was funny? I asked him why the fuck he would lie about something like that knowing I'm a vegetarian and he told me to chill out. We proceeded to get into a huge argument where he refused to apologize and kept insisting it wasn't a big deal. He was laughing about it and said I was overreacting about the whole thing. I told Ryan and our mutual friends that I don't want to be his friend anymore. I haven't spoken to him in over a month.
Our mutual friends think I'm overreacting and that we should just move on but Ryan still hasn't even really apologized and instead keeps downplaying what he did. I have never made my dietary choices anyone else's business. I'm not annoying about it - I don't judge my friends for what they chose to eat. At the bare fucking minimum, I would appreciate it if they don't trick me into eating pork knowing damn well I'm a vegetarian. I could easily move on if it was a simple mistake - mistakes happen! It's just the fact that he did it seemingly so maliciously - and it really makes me have no interest in mending the friendship. I think what I'm so upset about is the blatant disrespect for what my clear boundaries are.
Do you guys think I'm the asshole for staying pissed about this?
Wow! Thank you for all your comments! Many of you have been able to word my frustration much better than I have been able to. Also here is some clarification for questions I keep getting.

I was looking through some of the triumphs and as some of you know there are a 2 secret triumphs for the seasonal title and what I found was that the 2 triumphs were from the exotic quests tab meaning either bungie is "hiding" the hawkmoon random rolls or there's a new secret exotic we've yet to find.
