Edit 1: Got some questions about spam and robo calls. I ain't got much on how to tackle those because of the nature in which spammers get ahold of your number and spoof others. But here's an FTC article about what you can do in the meantime.

Wish I knew about this tip several months ago, given the season Finale of America being tomorrow and all. But alas, we can [hopefully] use this tip for future elections.
Edit 2: apparently it's the same number if you're reporting from Canada. Don't quote me on that though. Def not a Canadian.

Edit 5: Edit 4 was supposed to be U K. My keyboard is a tad stupid.
Edit 6: oh Buddha, didn't think this post would get to this point. Here's some extra links and a reminder, when in doubt remember: GTS = Google that Shit.
How to fwd on Apple: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT208386
How to fwd on Android: this changes so often that you're better off Googling [your phone] + "forwarding texts".
Alright friends. You now have a way to report spam for US, Canada, and the UK, & how to fwd texts on iPhone and etc. IDK about the rest of the world but the internet is there so do the thing.
Side note: Apparently in the US, political spam is not filtered no matter what you do. Sad. But remember to be kind regardless. Automated or not there's a human on the other end. We don't need anymore sad things in 2020. Or ever.
Now the effectiveness of these methods are up to you. Work or not work - y'all decide. Dont shoot the messenger. I am but a small potato.
Also, DONT click the links. If you do, change your password. If it's a password you use anywhere else, change it immediately too! Please be safe in the digital world! Thank you for all the love. π
Edit 7??:
Don't click link. Don't fwd the link. Apparently each look different to the user?? Idk and Idfk what I'm doing anymore. Gotta be up to vote at 5. Please stay safe tomorrow y'all. π€π»
EDIT 8: FRIC
... keep reading on reddit β‘I recently discovered that reporting spam messages this way was a thing. You can use the report spam form from the AT&T website, but forwarding the message (iPhone, Android) is often much faster and easier and only requires you to send the contents of the spam message and the phone number that the message came from. This can help AT&T better cut down on spam
Sprint also seems to do this.
The number of times I have asked them to stop calling me and remove me from their phone list is annoying. A few weeks ago a sales person called my husband and when my husband said βI told you guys not to callβ the SALESMAN stuttered and said he was calling to confirm the service appointment we didnβt have. So slimy.
Today I received a text message telling me all about the bronco and to trade my car in. βReply STOP to endβ. Right above that is a previous message from them in July that I replied to STOP to.
So now I am reporting them every time at Fight Spam and hope they eventually get fined. Go Auto needs to train their employees on CASL.
Why YSK: this can help your mobile provider track down spam and prevent you from getting more spam messages in the future. This works for AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint.
LPT: If you get spam texts, especially those from political parties, you can reply "STOP" and you should get a reply back immediately saying you were removed from their list. This really only works for legitimate spam. For scammers like those saying you have a package waiting or the Social Security office is trying to get ahold of you with links that look shady, block their numbers and report them using the reporting feature on your phone, but never reply. If you reply, their system will flag you as engaging and you will only get more scam spam.
Every other day for the past few weeks, Iβve been receiving text messages from random email addresses with the following content:
βHey
Wanna Meet Today
here is my profile link: [random letters/
numbers].weebly.comβ
I havenβt clicked on any links from these texts, since they are obviously scams, but there doesnβt seem to be a clear way to report these since theyβre coming from different email addresses with no phone number attached (the 7726 number requires me to provide the phone number of the sender in order for the text to be reported).
Iβve tried blocked each email address and deleting each text as they come through, but this text just gets sent again a couple of days later with a different email address and slightly different weebly link. I also tried not blocking or deleting one of the texts to see what would happen, but another text was just sent to me from a different email address.
Is there a way to stop these spam texts without changing my phone number? I know it wonβt do much harm if I donβt do anything about it, but itβs annoying to have to deal with this every other day on average without being able to do anything about it.
(Also, Iβm currently using an iPhone with AT&T.)
Edit: Iβm in the US - not sure if it works in other countries too, if anyone else can chime in
Spam messages can expose your device to malware & viruses. They might even ask for money or more personal info. The fact that you get these messages already means your info is vulnerable since your contact info is already being contacted by spam accounts.
To forward the text:
I have Verizon & I received an automated text thanking me for reporting the text & asking for the sender info (phone # or email it was sent from). They then provided info on how to permanently block communication from that specific contact method.
Other helpful things for avoiding & reporting spam calls, texts, emails, etc. :
Edit: you will not be charged for reporting via text
FTA:
> If you can't verify who sent a message, or it's clearly a scam, you can forward the message to 7726 (it spells "spam" on a phone's keypad). >> > AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon all accept spam reports through this number. You may receive a follow-up message after reporting a message, asking for more information or to confirm the number the original message was sent from. >> > Some carriers, such as Sprint, will even block the number from messaging you after you've reported it.
You can do this regardless of your carrier (US only, I believe, unfortunately) and the number will be registered in a database to prevent them from sending further messages to other people. You still need to block the number immediately in order to prevent further messages to your cell phone.
Edit: to clarify, this is to be used to report text message spam, not necessarily robocalls/telemarketing. The intent is to forward the messages in question, but from my experience, they still require you send the number to 7726 as well.
Hello fellow Grand Masters,
I wanted to share my thoughts on the new Grey Knights by sharing my list as well as an analysis of our new rules. This was not a highly competitive game, more of an experimentation game. Firstly I will discuss the lists and my ideas behind my list, mission, then go through turn by turn, and finally end with my analysis of the units/stratagems/powers/relics.
For a bit of background I have been playing Grey Knights since the dark days of 7th and into the dark days of 8th. I have only used them in a few games in the last few months because of their horrid state, but I felt a surge of excitement in their new rules to be able to put them back on the table without feeling as if I was going to auto lose. I will be using pictures to help give a better idea of the battle, found here.

Thought Process
The overall design of the list is to try and abuse the Tide of Escalation, to that end I am running MSU squads in addition to two Brother-Captains to make sure everyone always has the 24" smite range. This has the advantage of generating more smites, but the distinct disadvantage of making utility Psychic powers such as Gate, Edict, Armored Resilience, etc. much less impactful.
The Utility Librarian (Sanctic Shard with Empyrean Domination and Warp Shaping) is vital to the survival of the list, as you will see late

Legal actions can be effective and remunerative.
Many carriers (such as AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and Sprint in the US) allow subscribers to report spam by forwarding the spam messages to short code 7726 ( SPAM)
Spam text messages are unsolicited and generally unwanted commercial advertisements sent to wireless phones via text or picture/video messaging. These unsolicited messages count against your text messaging plan, creating additional concerns.
When you receive a text from someone who is not in your address book it offers to let you report it as junk. Not sure what this means exactly on the back-end but hopefully helps put a stop to annoying text spam. Here's a screenshot I took: http://imgur.com/u8TfLV3
A company called HBN media has been sending me spam text messages that contain links to programs that actually are in the app store (they're not fake apps--I searched from app store). How do I report this so that hopefully they'll stop and maybe even have their apps pulled from the app store?
All the instructions online say that there is a "report" option in iMessage but I don't see it at all. Thanks
Is there any number that we can report the spam text messages? I remember when I was in Fido I could send a text message to a 4 digit number (I dont remember it) and as a text I put the spam numbers seperated with commas ie +1647xxxxxxx, +1416xxxxxxxx Does freedom provide such functionality so we can report spam text messages?
Google will not let me report a spam text without permissions for:
I keep getting group messages with links to spam sexual content. I understand that companies are not able to stop those right now but is there a way I can report it? Does AT&T even do anything about these reports? thanks
