Quill seems like a regular human at first, nothing special as he goes around fighting aliens, but I've noticed a few things. Peter seems to be on the same level of physical abilities as Gamora, having fought once or twice with no overwhelming advantage on each side. Then I remeber Gamora once picked up a 10 ton ship mounted minigun, and was able to fire it while easily controlling recoil.
Drax is supposed to be much stronger than Gamora, but again they have never showed him being overwhelmingly stronger than Quill.
Quill also manhandled spiderman when they first met, he engaged in hand to hand combat and got Spidey in a headlock with a gun to his head. This is the same spidey who unlocked spidey sense. Spiderman seemed genuinely nervous about the situation.
Then he manages to punch Thanos so hard he shifts his whole body a bit, (Which the hulk could barely do) and snaps Thanos out of a sleep that was caused by a being who could put a celestial too sleep.
Add in the fact the Quill's... keep reading on reddit ➡
Apologies if you have heard this.
I think Ego lied about Quill losing his powers if Ego dies.
What do we know about Ego? Other than the fact that he is a liar. Well Ego is not Kurt Russell but rather the planet (technically the brain as he constructed the planet around him).
Ego's whole mission is to create a second celestial to power his expansion. He even refers to Peter as "a battery". This tells us that Ego alone lacks the power necessary to expand his body across the galaxy. However, two celestials could do it. Peter being a celestial likely means he has his own power source.
If Peter were simply drawing power from Ego then why would Ego even have to bother doing his whole quest to have a child in the first place? Ego needs new energy and if Peter's powers are dependent on Ego, wouldn't Ego just be drawing from himself?
Quill would need to be generating his own celestial energy. Ego likely lied to Peter to keep him from setting off the bomb. If Peter thinks that killing... keep reading on reddit ➡

I like to think that the outcome that occurred was NOT one of the 14,000,605 that Dr. Strange saw (14mil is a lot but not ALL outcomes!)
And after Starlord screwed up the plan (in my mind, the original plan would’ve been the one that worked if not for Starlord because Strange says he was looking at possibilities of “the coming conflict” and not “final outcome”).
Strange knew that if he didn’t forfeit the time stone and Thanos couldn’t be killed, the mind stone would be destroyed on Earth and our reality would cease to exist, i.e. The Ancient One in Endgame “the infinity stones create what you experience as the flow of time. Remove one of the stones and that flow splits... and our world be would be overrun [by the forces of darkness].”
So, after Starlord messes up what Strange thought was the winning scenario... he does what he has to in order to preserve reality and the flow of time for those that will remain post-snap and within all other realities.
He gives up the stone NOT to ma... keep reading on reddit ➡
I am posting again to get some new feedback.
There were a few suggestions/feature requests in previous post added to the project.
Hi all. I'm curious about how many windows does Quill have open during a stream. At the very minimum, he must have the game, plus the chat, plus I guess wherever he reads the tips from, plus his capture window where he sees himself. Just juggling all that, plus playing the game and commenting must be daunting. He must have more than one monitor, no?
I wonder if instead of using a pencil, the students pluck one of their feathers from their wings and dip it in ink. Just like, ‘oh almost forgot!’ *pluck and dip. To be honest I kind of want a scene of them just using their feathers as quills to write notes. 😂😂😂
Tell me how wizards have advanced so much as having a government and Tournaments/Competitions starting back centuries ago and muggles started being smart in like the 1930s, but wizards still use quills? There is a reason why we use pencils and pens, quills are hard. And I've tried to use one. You have to dip them back into the ink every like 30 secs, sometimes there is to much ink and you get this one splotchy area, also you cannot fix a mistake. How have wizards gotten so much more intelligence than muggles, but choose to use the most inconvenient way of penmanship?
I have recently become more and more interested in the epoch of writing even before the fountain pen. Although I of course prefer the Fountain Pen to its Dip Pen forbearer, I have become quite enamoured with the quill pen. I have now learned to sculpt the tip of the feather into a lovely nib, but I have run into a problem; I haven’t the foggiest clue where to get quality feathers. I know Goose and Turkey are favoured, but I don’t know where to get quality ones(adequately thicc, long and intact.) I know this is a community for fountain pens, but I am hoping to come across someone that may be of assistance in my endeavour. Many thanks!
This kept me up half the night last night. So you’re gonna tell me that Harry Potter who was neglected as ever by his aunt and uncle just automatically knew how to use a quill and ink pot on his first day of school?? And he didn’t have any thoughts about how a pencil would be so much easier?? Like I’ve used old fashioned quill and ink before there’s definitely a learning curving or maybe I just wasn’t a bright 10 year old
Depending on how Mark treats the Eye-Ray, Spellbreaker might remove it.
Rise of the Runelords potential spoilers ahead.
My character, a Divine Paragon Cleric of Hastur (yes, you may ask about our Lord and savior, I have brochures) got full custody of this little artifact, which is nice. But I’m looking for fun and flavorful uses for the daily Divination and weekly Contact Other Plane spells.
My GM usually leans toward RAW, so no leniency is to be expected.
So I was re-watching Infinity War, and I noticed something I didn't notice before during the Dusting scene. If you watch Peter Quill's eyes as he gets dusted, they turn red. I looked at everyone else, but his are the only one. What's up with that?
Some of the Quill animations are crashing the app. Anyone else experiencing this?
You'll remember that once the mutiny succeeded, Taserface declared that Baby Groot was too adorable to kill and shot down his lackey's eager request to smash Groot with a rock. This might seem like a silly plot convenience that was out of character for Taserface, but it occurred to me that it might make a little more sense based on what we know.
In fact, in the next scene, we see Groot actually wearing a wee little Ravagers outfit with the other Ravagers all gathered around taunting him, pouring their drinks on him and even kicking him. Rather than just being cruel for cruelty's sake, I think this adds up to an initiation process something like joining a biker gang and probably much like what Peter Quill went through when Yondu decided to keep him.
I'm not saying Taserface had any affection toward Groot, adorableness aside, but he had watched how his captain had raised a protege who proved useful in their thievery and somehow provided a bond of motivation among this band of amoral th... keep reading on reddit ➡
Some muggle-borns are even declining Hogwarts letters because the world they already live in is more magical to them.
In Avengers: Infinity War, Peter Quill references Jesus, which causes Tony Stark to realize that he is from Earth. When he says “you’re from Earth”, Quill responda with “I’m not from Earth, I’m from Missouri”. This seemingly implies that Peter doesn’t know that he is from Earth, but in both Guardians of the Galaxy movies, he refers to Earth as his homeworld on multiple occasions. Can anyone think of an in-universe explanation to this?
Just once I’d like MC to find a black quill and try to un-transfigure it, only for it to be a regular run of the mill quill that someone dropped on their way to class or something.
I got a young hedgie from a breeder. She's lovely, she was so confident at the breeder, walking all over me, I knew she'd be great for me. She took a few days of being a hissy little ball, but handling her a lot she's already unfurling quickly when I pick her up now! She loves face rubs and foot baths and I've managed to even clip her nails which was a relief.
Today after her foot bath (her wheel was very poopy this morning so I thought it was a good time, lol) I had her cuddled in a towel to dry when I noticed three quills attached to a piece of skin/scab! I checked her body and there was a little red/pink patch where the skin seems to have come off. The breeder said to look up how to treat dry skin, but her skin is dark and smooth, it doesn't look dry. I've only had her a couple weeks and she's gotten a few footbaths and 1 quick rinse, but I haven't given her a bath with soap yet. I am so careful with handling her, but she wasn't even acting different when it happened, s... keep reading on reddit ➡
[ This is my re-posted theory that I made around 2 months ago, but in better version]
I know that Sonic movie was in February, but I think I realized what Eggman can do with Sonic quill.
As we know, quill doesn't have much (I guess, it doesn't have any) power left, but still ...it's "Sonic's Quill".
What I mean by that? I mean it contain Sonic's DNA. As we know, in games and cartoons there was a clone of Sonic. What was is called? Oh yes: "Shadow". In cartoon, Shadow was created by Eggman's grandfather. In movie 2 - Eggman may create him.
He have everything he need:
- DNA ✔
- high IQ (300) ✔
- resources (We only saw he have some scrap from his machine and he is being trapped in Mushroom World - he saw only this, but who know what is underground) ✔
- (...) ✔
We are not 100% sure how he would escape Mushroom World, but when we think about it, Shadow can use ability "Chaos Control" - he only need 1 Chaos Emerald.

He is self-centered, egoistic, and obnoxious to everyone he meets. We all know that he cost them the win in Infinity War, but he was insufferable long before that. He makes it impossible to watch any Guardians of the Galaxy movie because he’s held up as the central hero.
