My name Borat Sagdiyev, I have age of 536 moons and length 19.3 centimeters. I from town of Kuzcek and am #4 journalist in all of Kazakhstan. Prior to this I train for two year for job sticking labels on apples, but week before I was due to commence employ my country apple tree fell over so I retrain 8 month and become ice maker. I was fire from this job after being false accused by my asshole neighbor Nursultan Tulyakbay of stealing this treasure and eating at workplace. I subsequent became traffic light operator – I would paint the discs red for cart stop then green for cart go – I then brief do computer maintenance removing dead birds from its pipes, then I become journalist.
Your questions give me great pleasure. I must now go make liquid release. Chenquieh.
Lil Pump made a new story on Instagram saying "Fuck Eminem, you lame as hell, ain't nobody listening to your old ass you lame as fuck bitch"
Royce just responded on this post saying "I'll slap them glasses so far off his face, they'll land in a whole nother genre ... Not cuz I'm mad but just cuz I'm exhausted with all the tuff talk from all these harmless creatures ... Enjoy yourself. You actually make money off blatant misappropriation while not being really good at anything ..."
BTW, I lost 60% of my initial investment in Bitcoin and some other altcoins 1 week after I made my first time purchase. I felt like throwing up, but after that dump, I started to do research more about Bitcoin. It's the future. And then I started to HODL and DCA my purchase. I felt nothing about yesterday's dump because I was still in huge profit even when Bitcoin correct 50%
1)the government are printing unlimited amount of Fiat currencies
Smart Money (Whales) number are growing rapidly
The retail investor FOMO hasn't really started yet
Time in the market will beat timing the market
So, stop freaking out, and start HODL the fuck up!
The title pretty much says it all. Today, after eating a large Thanksgiving meal and partaking in two glasses of wine, I decided to pump and dump. I retreated to an upstairs bedroom, set myself up, and started pumping.
The fateful combination of baby-induced sleep deprivation, copious carbs, and wine left me feeling...drowsy. As I sat in the rocking chair waiting for the pump to do it's thing I felt myself nodding off. I figured I would doze for a few minutes while I finished pumping and then return to the (Covid-compliant) family gathering in a timely manner.
No such luck. I awoke over an hour later, clueless as to the length of my slumber, with nipples the size of wine corks emitting sad puffs of dust with each cycle of the pump. Hours later it still feels as though satan himself tried to suck my soul out through my nipples.
On the plus side, my otherwise latch-struggling baby has had no problems nursing since my nipples grew 3 sizes today.
TL;DR: fell asleep pumping breastmilk, woke up with giant painful nipples.
ETA: If you're breastfeeding or pumping and do decide to imbibe, please be aware that pumping and dumping does not lower the alcohol content in your milk. I pumped and dumped to relieve discomfort, but only time can remove alcohol from your breastmilk. It metabolizes out, and generally takes 2-3 hours per beverage consumed.
Some opportunist have taken to treating this sub like their own personal robinhood account. Make no mistake they are here to profit at your expense. I’m posting this because being pumped and subsequently dumped sucks, it just feels bad man. I wouldn’t wish it on anyone.
So if you don’t want to end up a jerry smith holding the bag on limited edition Star Wars coins then watch out for these tells that you’re being pumped.
Urgency: Ever notice that that best deals will disappear if you don’t act fast? This is a classic sales trick used to pressure you into making a decision without thinking. It works for cars, clothes, gym memberships, and... stocks. No one can predict the price of a stock for EOW, EOM, or even EOY. Anyone claiming to is absolutely full of shit.
Fomo: We love to see gain porn, that’s why we’re here right? For that sweet fat FIRE! But there’s a difference between bragging and goading. If someone posts their gains of 2000% and encourages you to get in on a stock at ATH ask them where tf their dd was at 10% or even 50%, crazy how we never see that. You’ve already missed out, there’s no point in worrying about what if’s, even if you bought it earlier it would’ve tanked anyway. Just focus on the next play and move on.
Zero Doubt: Only a sith deals in absolutes. Believe it or not there is risk in every play and real dd considers it and offers counter points or the likelihood of either scenario playing out. The OP of a pump will leave this out entirely and claim a “sure thing” because this is the only thing stopping you from yoloing your kids college fund. In the back of your head you’re thinking “what if it tanks” and the OP will call you an idiot for even bringing up the risks. You are if you think a stranger is offering a free lunch with no strings attached.
Emotional: Nothing screams desperation like an overly enthusiastic and defensive sales pitch. A good investment will be rooted in facts and the OP will discuss its merit like a newborn in Sparta. If they insult, go all caps, or go to other subs begging them to come here and down vote you... then find another yolo because this person is way too hungry for your money.
Rando: This should go without saying, but if the OP has a Reddit age of 2 weeks you should be wary of what they have to say. Some folks do have a track record around here and while that doesn’t mean much, it’s at least some credibility compared to the obvious pump and dump accounts s
Motley Fool Stock Advisor gives pre-pumped stock alerts. First buy alert I received on Dec 3. The email came at 1:45pm EST, and when I went to check the chart, that stock had been pumping since 1pm which is 45 min before the buy signal.
Today's pick which is the second pick of the month, also came at 1:45pm, and looking at the chart, it had been pumping since 12:40pm
This service looks very much like a pump scheme where the subscribers are the fool buying high. I will be cancelling at the end of my trial, and I just wanted to share my experience.
Edit: apparently, someone else caught them by hand as well: https://investorplace.com/2020/12/lmnd-stock-why-lemonade-shares-are-soaring-20-today/
i hate when i’m trying to pump some lotion and get a nasty booger glob of half dried lotion on my hands. gross.
I live in a state that has both full-serve gas stations (attendant pumps your gas) and self-serve (you pump your own). I for one despise full-serve gas stations and will drive past until I can find a self-serve option, but I’ve heard that some states (NJ, OR) are or were full-serve only.
What is it like where you live?
Ok, so TSLA will be included in S&P 500 in Dec 21. Old news. Around $100B(almost 1/5th of its market cap) of TSLA would need to be purchased(some active funds may have already purchased) based on current stock price.
The only reason I have been holding TSLA after it split is the whole S&P 500 inclusion thingy. After that, I don't know what will even move this stock. They freakin surpassed Berkshire and could surpass Facebook(for a short time)!!!
Today they will announce whether to include TSLA in two sessions or in one session.
This is what happened when Yahoo was included(which is comparable to TSLA's inclusion as they have had relatively comparable size in comparison to S&P 500's size). Although I believe TSLA will rise again after some time, unlike Yahoo.
After the trading sessions, expect a big dip. As a lot of speculators this year have bought into TSLA precisely to front-run the index investors.
Also, the trade date Dec. 18, coincides with a once-quarterly event known as quadruple witching, the Friday near the end of each calendar quarter on which options and futures on both indexes and stocks expire simultaneously. Volume is usually heavy on those days and would help boost liquidity on the day of Tesla’s inclusion, investors said. (this paragraph copied straight from wsj)
So, I guess don't be a fool(unless there are some tax implications, which I don't have); buy the rumour, sell the news. TSLA will completely tank after the inclusion.
Also, remember NIO etc kind of benefit from the TSLA hype, so be very careful you all about them.
I don't think if you don't have any immediate tax implications, there wouldn't be much value holding TSLA for the longer term as there are better long term plays. And when or if TSLA reaches $700 or higher(I know I am very bullish, but that's why I am still holding it) there would be almost no point in holding it any longer.
Some special points to remember:
I know posts that say anything negative about TSLA gets downvoted but be careful about your TSLA shares or options!
Disclaimer: I am long TSLA shares and call options. I am also long PLTR(long leaps too) and some other meme stocks whic... keep reading on reddit ➡
I've had my computer together for about two years. I7-8700k @5.01ghz and a evga 1080ti SC2 21:9 120hz 1440p monitor.
Recently my games began to run terrible. The other night it reached a tipping point for me and I decided to look through settings and make sure I had things optimized.
I opened up intel tuning utility because once before some updates had wiped my overclock settings. Ram and CPU were all set correctly but I saw that I was hitting thermal throttling which I never hit under load.
I opened up SIV (gigabytes fan program) and evga X1. My fan profiles for my cpu and gpu had gotten switched to stealth/quiet profiles at some point either accidently by me or via program updates. I made some custom aggressive performance profiles and performance went from 10-60 fps in warzone to 80-120 fps.
I had been living with this for probably weeks or months assuming that game updates were making the game run slower.
Tl;dr - if your computer isn't running to your expectations check the fan profiles and that your ram/cpu overclock haven't been lost.
I'm not sure if this belongs here, so delete it if necessary.
I'm not normally very confrontational with other customers when I'm out, but this one slipped out.
I went to a nearby convenience store one evening a few years ago to get cigarettes for myself and my wife. I walk into the store and get in line behind an old, grubby looking guy with a bad attitude.
The cashier asks him if she can help him. He says he wants to put some money on one of the pumps. She asked him "which pump?".
He rudely replies, "I DON'T KNOW! I DON'T WORK HERE!"
Maybe it was the years of dealing with rude customers in the foodservice and call center industries, but, without even thinking, I blurt out, "Why don't you go outside and check instead of being a jerk to her?"
Grumpy guy spins around, points at me and yells, "MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS."
I was a little dumbstruck. Not because he yelled at me, but because I was still processing the fact that I spoke up for someone.
To his credit, grumpy guy sticks his head out the door, yells to one of his companions for the pump number, and returns to the counter and completes his transaction.
When I get to the counter I notice both women behind the counter are staring at me. I don't know if they were scared of me, shocked that grumpy guy was so rude to them, or shocked that someone had defended one of them from a rude customer. I do know that it felt good to put a jerk in his place.
Edit: this post got a lot more attention and love than I expected. Thanks to everyone that replied and reacted.
I've been keeping a ear out since the launch of Beyond Light!
Anyone else alarmed at the sheer amount of pump and dumps that exist now? Hundreds of discord’s with tens of thousands of people in each blindly dumping money into random penny stocks because someone told them to and shooting them up 900% for them to tank soon after... its flooded TikTok
After FunFair (A coin that I legitimately held since 2017) received a massive pump from $0.0042 to $0.0210, sending the moonshot bag I bought into the stratosphere, I looked on this Crypto sub and saw people saying it was a Pump and Dump. Curious, I followed the Discord link someone had provided to a group with over 200,000 members.
I didn't know what I should do, observe or participate... so for the time being I poked around and saw the structure of it all. You can't participate in any chats unless you invite someone. If you invite more people you get more bonuses... More on this later.
So what's a Pump and Dump group? Well, the owner selects a coin, I presume a low volume, low Market Cap project that's been dead for some time. Then they send a signal out to buy and everyone must market buy, then wait for the rubes on the outside (you) to think something big is happening, then they encourage participants to sell, "25% at a time" to prevent the market dumping.
Hey, in theory, it seems like if you're in, you're in and nothing can go wrong. There's even channels where you can help advertise the coin on social media, with links to Reddits, Tweets etc. Looks well organised and legit. With that, I decided to dip my toes and participate - if I held FUN before, and the 6-hour pump brought a 6-7x return on investment, what could happen next?
In reality, things are different.
What happens is, the admin has picked a coin. This time, it was NEBL. They have all the time to load their bags. Let's say they put $10,000 into NEBL over a few weeks. The price barely moves and they have their bag ready. Then they start an announcement. "On January 2nd at 9PM GMT, the next coin to be pumped will be announced"
Remember that bonus I mentioned earlier? If you invite 5 people, you get notified 1 second earlier. If you invite 10, 2 seconds earlier, and so on.
You or I may think that we all just buy at 9PM, and then when we get big profit, sell and move on. If it worked that way, then getting rich from these groups would be utterly trivial. Unfortunately, in reality, what happens is the people that get notified seconds earlier place fat buy orders, and by the time the thousands of new-ranks enter the server, it's all over. They buy at X price, but that's already more than enough profit for the admins and high-ranked server members, who are able to make out like bandits.
At a representative example, the coin chosen to... keep reading on reddit ➡
