I am calling on all Warlocks to run Nova Warp / Void Walker until we get a meaningful TWAB about Warlock or class tuning. No more well of radiance easy mode for LFG, strikes, or matchmaking. Let's see how "IP-defining" Titan and Hunter are classes when they're struggling to save alive and buffed.
Warlocks complaining about nerfs and handicaps is as consistent as another week another TAWB. We use the Bungie Suggestion flair, we show the math, and we are a vocal about it. Our rewards are a hunter buff while we continue to be taken advantage of in fireteams.
Remember this. The people you're trying to step on, we're everyone you depend on...
So Warlocks, PVE needs us and we need to take the power back. First nova warp and now shadebinder, we need more than talking. Change comes from action and we need to play the same game as Bungie.
We are going to drive Nova Wrap usage rates up. Bungie is then going to do what they always do, buff another class to see more usage rate and then nerf the offending class. Well tricks on you Bungie, Nova Warp is already nerfed into the ground, what is another six feet if another subclass can live?
Edit #1: Thanks for the gold!
Edit #2: Top post on hot, we have the momentum now. Actions are louder than words. Go out this weekend and play Nova Warp to death. And since we'll be facing stasis titans and hunters, many of us will be dying often. Do you remember when the Lord of Wolves made the wolves run wild? Let's paint Destiny the color purple this weekend. Titans, our non-hunter brethren, reach for those purple crayons. Hunters, mid-tree stalker this weekend, don't tether us out of warp...we... keep reading on reddit ➡
I live on the outskirts of a big town/small city making me one of the few people with a big yard. I live on top of a little hill and my yard is really big and runs all the way to a small wooded area and then the field next to it is also mine it pretty much cuts my neighbors yard off(Think like an upside down L shaped yard)
One of the major draws of the area I live in is it's lovely view it was also a big part of why I chose to live here. Most of my neighbors have no fences.
Before Corona I was only really home in the evening and weekends corona has forced me to work at home pretty much all the time(I only have to come to the office once a week at most) as a result I have started making a lot more use of well...My house lol, this includes the yard.
I got a backporch and I have noticed that I love sitting outside with my work laptop and a cup of coffee so that is what I have been doing. The problem is, because I was not home much I barely do any gardening aside from cutting the grass which means my yard especially the portion at the back with the turn is a perfect soccer field for the neighborhood kids, especially my neighbors kids are using it pretty much all the time, I even caught them dragging a goalpost into it. I went to talk to the neighbors as I am not happy with random people using my yard and even less happy about notbeing able to work because of a horde of screaming kids in my yard, even if it isn't fenced but I was met with the whole "Kids will be kids, They don't have anything else to do for fun right now, don't worry, you are not using it anyways." I told them I did not want them using it regardless, but as you can guess by me writing this post the kids kept using it.
So I put up a big wooden fence(The preassembled ones where you just gotta put in the posts and drill in the big wooden panels) it was quite a lot of work while only being able to ask 2 friends for help but after a few days I was done. My neighbors kept coming out to complain, begging me to remove it etc claiming they now didn't even have a view.
I figured they were overreacting but now that I am done their yard is literally tiny and their view went from a beatiful hilly landscape with woods, to the top of a wooden screen meanwhile my view is still the same. Their kids have since come over to ask to play in my yard as have a ton of other neighborhood kids as have their parents who were angry their kids now have nowhere safe to play and I am starting to feel shitty.
Hello, fellow europeans!
Yesterday, Reddit announced significant upcoming changes to the user preference settings. According to the announcement, this is a "cleanup" and "simplification" of the settings. We perceive the consequences as less choice and control for the individual user. Our main concern is them disabling the ability to "opt out of personalization of ads based on your Reddit activity" which we believe to be in violation of the european laws on data protection.
We understand the desire of Reddit to increase its revenue, but we do not think that a violation of the GDPR should be tolerated; more so given than Reddit privacy settings haven't really been GDPR-compliant, even almost three years after they went into effect. We believe that the change is to the detriment of the european users and we strongly call on Reddit to not only keep this feature but to make it opt-in as mandated by european law.
If there is a misinterpretation of the changes from our side, we call upon Reddit to clarify how these changes are in fact GDPR-compliant and how the users are set to benefit from them. Should this be ignored from Reddit's side, we will look towards more drastic measures.
