I know we just did this recently, and we had just done it recently before that, but I’m doing it again, if you’re not sick of me yet. This time we’re also making a video out of this AMA, which will go on Netflix's YouTube next week.
I’m in a new movie on Netflix called PROJECT POWER. It’s really fucking fun. It has Jamie Foxx, who is my hero on a number of levels, and an actress you might not have heard of before, Dominique Fishback, who is a brilliant young artist you ought to know about if you’re a fan of movies/acting/actors/etc.
I’m actually in three movies coming out this year. The first one was artsy, this one’s a blockbuster, and we’ll talk about the third one later. However, as much spectacular eye candy as this movie provides, it’s also got a lot of pertinent themes running below the surface.
Dom and I also led a collaborative song and music video project on HITRECORD inspired by the movie. It’s actually not totally finished yet, so you can jump in o... keep reading on reddit ➡
Am I the only one who thinks Fallout 4's version of Power Armor makes WAY more sense than Fallout New Vegas and 3's? I always imagined Power Armor to be something heavy, bulky and... Well, like an EXO-Suit. I never really bought Fallout New Vegas and 3's versions because they seemed too form fitting, to conformed to one type of body size/height. At least the Power Armor in Fallout 4 seems to be "ONE SIZE FITS ALL." At least, in terms of Humans... Sorry, Strong/Fawkes.
Other than that, it just seems more viable than Fallout NV and 3's... They always felt so... "Thin" and fragile... At least in Fallout 4 they're thick, and like I said... BULKY.
I signed up for my county's library system online yesterday and immediately went through their Kindle selections and cross-referenced to what I had on my Amazon wish list. I would say roughly 90% of my list was available on Kindle through the library. I added up the total savings and it came to $484 that I no longer need to spend. Get your library cards folks!
I worked as a cable guy for years and the amount of times I fixed customers TVs by doing this simple trick is staggering. From No audio issues, no signal, to backlit problems this seemed to done the trick and had them back up and running.
Feel free to try it on any other electronics as it has the same effect, laptops, remotes, handhelds etc. Just remember to remove the power source first.
EDIT: Thanks for the love yall! Just to add on to the original post, when I mean try with other electronics... I mean really try it out... Some ideas that some have commented below include dishwashers, laundry machines, phones, speakers. Use this as a first method for troubleshooting, but remember its not a fail safe.
Also please power down whatever it is your attempting to fix first!
Power Off - > Remove Power Cord -> Remove Battery(if available) -> Hold Power button -> Test.
Why it works?
When you do this you're basically discharging any stored power inside the units cap... keep reading on reddit ➡
Power 5 AD just texted: “You and your colleagues are chasing the wrong story. The virus alone is enough to stop the season. But presidents are terrified of players organizing. It’s the paradigm shift to change amateur sports.” (1of2)
“You potentially lose one season with the virus. You lose the entire framework of your mission statement with players organizing. They need time to figure out how to attack it.”
I think I understand why people do it, when a NT person sees a person with ADHD, on medication, on a good day, it can seem like we really have our shit together. On the other side, ADHD fucking sucks and I can see someone with ADHD making that claim to feel a bit better about this awful curse.
It's true that some of us are able to think in different and creative ways that can work out well for us in certain jobs or projects. What many NT people don't understand is that these ways of thinking are advanced coping mechanisms for some really debilitating core issues.
I know you fuckers love a good analogy so here's some equivalent "super powers" to help people understand ADHD.
-Having absolutely incredible balance...because you only have one leg.
-Being great at fixing things...because everything you own is broken.
-Having a really high pain tolerance...because you've always had a crippling headache.
-The ability function for days without resting...because you have nightmares every... keep reading on reddit ➡
When Arthur won the Galleon draw, he and the family decided to go visit Bill in Egypt. The Daily Prophet wanting to promote the Galleon draw, either took a photo or was given a photo of the happy Weasley family posing in front of the Pyramids. In this photo as you all would know was Scabbers AKA “Peter Pettigrew”. When the then current Minister for Magic; Cornelius Fudge visited Azkaban Prison for an inspection, he gave Sirius Black a copy of the Daily Prophet which happened to have that photo of the Weasleys and their pet Peter Pettigrew. This gave Sirius the motivation to escape Azkaban and hunt down Peter. In the final confrontation between Sirius and Peter, Peter escaped, and Sirius became trusted among his friends again. When Peter helped Voldemort return to his body, Sirius offered his ancestral home as the home base of the Order of the Phoenix. When Sirius died Harry became the owner of 12 Grimmauld Place who continued to let the Order use it until Dumbledore’s Death. In the Dea... keep reading on reddit ➡
Awakened Version: You can send Karens away as well
currently on my eleventeenth read-through, and I just realized in the first book we are given a very small taste of one of the unique powers of the Elder Wand without even realizing it.
When in Ollivander's wand shop, when Hagrid and Olli are speaking about Hagrid's old wand being snapped, Hagrid comments on the fact he still kept the old pieces.
Now, we as readers piece together that the umbrella is his repaired wand, and as the story progresses we gain context of the Dumbledore/Hagrid relationship. Eventually some readers put together that Dumbledore repaired Hagrid's wand.
Later, in Deathly Hallows we see Harry unable to repair his wand using Hermione's. Even though it's still technically connected, there is no chance of it being repaired.
Fast forward to after the Battle, Harry has in his possession the Elder Wand and his own. At this point I believe Harry has put together the fact that Dumbledore repaired Hagrid's wand, and realizes that it was done with the wand he has now.... keep reading on reddit ➡
