Hoping to find out any options in getting a realty company to get their on-site manager to do their job. There's dog piss and shit all around the front and back entrances, so much so that people have slipped in it.
Hi all! I'm going to be moving to the area soon, currently looking at apartments in Portage. I have been scouring this page to find out what would be the best fit for me. I am looking for a 1 bedroom for myself & my small dog, between $750-850/mo.
I contacted Greenspire and unfortunately they won't have availability until after I move. Currently the two I am most interested in are Davis Creek and Walnut Trail. I like that the Davis Creek apartments are more updated but have seen some sketchy reviews on google regarding mold in the winter (though I am a very clean person & know there are steps that can be taken to prevent this - not sure about the people who left those reviews). Wondering if anyone has any insight into which one of these two may be a better living experience?
By traveling, all the personnel required to accommodate the president risk getting COVID? Isn't this the opposite of social distancing, especially since there isn't anything he can do to help vaccine production there that he can't do from Washington? He isn't a production engineer improving the vaccine assembly line who needs to see the production facility.
Just moved to the area and am looking for a vet. We have two geriatric dogs and are looking to add a couple of rodents in the coming months. Any recommendations? Most places I have called are booked out months in advance. Thanks!
Hey everyone! I would love your insight.
I'm doing a paper for school about the construction & situation regarding Portage and Main.
Could I get some of your opinions and thoughts about it? And why this has been an ongoing controversy in Winnipeg?
This is a odd question, I am running Ubuntu, I have gotten portage to work mostly, emerge --sync and --search both work great, my issue resides in profiles, to my understanding a profile is a file, i currently get an error warning me that my profile is invalid and it limits me to --info, --version, --help, --search and --sync(there may be another i missed out) so where can i get a profile and can i have an explanation on how to implement it without eselect. Tl;dr: how do i get portage profiles not using eselect and can you explain it to me
Sorry if this has been asked before. I am new to canoe camping. I’ve done a couple weekend trips and gotten by with just hiking backpacks but I have really enjoyed it and want to get serious. Just wondering what people’s favorite postage packs are. I’d like to buy good quality gear even if I have to pay a little more so it will last. Thanks!
I want to go through LFS for the learning experience, but it would be nice to end up with a usable system in the end instead of scrapping my creation! The biggest problem I see people call out with LFS is the lack of a package manager. I found Gentoo to be an interesting distro; it's very minimal, it's source based, and use flags seem very interesting.
So my question is, would it be enough to just install portage after I finish with LFS, or would I be better off just going through the entire gentoo installation? It seems to me that it should make no difference, but I wasn't completely sure.
